I been looking for a poodle for sometime. My brother that lives in Tere Haute Indiana suggested this place. I google it then I called asking for a specific poodle they had on the website. Vanessa answered and let me tell you from the beginning her customer care was on point. Since I live in Chicago I needed to get more information that typically is not given over the phone. She not only send me via Text while we were taking information about the puppy but also she send me a video about her. She also make sure my brother witch he went to see her get information and full attention From her. This happened Friday by Sunday at 12pm I was already picking up our new dog. Now Vanessa and the 2 manager were all amazing. They not only sell you the puppy but also a whole kit. And they train you in case the puppy won't eat on How syringe feed her. I am truly impressed with the dedication. They all gave me their cell phones so I can text if I have any questions. Which I did and Vanessa was checking up on me if the puppy was eating. I have had another poodle before from a store like this but let me tell you the staff is amazing super friendly dedicated and helpful. I had such a great experience at Petland in Terre Haute! The store is super clean and has such a fun, welcoming vibe. The animals all looked healthy and happy, and it was so cool getting to see everything from puppies and kittens to reptiles and birds. I purchased two bunnies and two kittens from here, and my family has had previous puppies from here. Over the years this specific Petland has enhanced their knowledge about their puppies and they continue to do so! Puppies aren't just coming from USDA licensed breeders, but they go a step above that and make sure that the breeders are participating in other programs such as the Canine Care Certification program ran by Purdue University. Not only this, but this Petland doesn't get puppies shipped to them, thank goodness, but the owner goes and picks the puppies up to ensure a safe and stress free travel! If you're thinking about getting a new pet or just want to stop in and look around, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out. I had a wonderful experience bringing home my puppy from Petland Terre Haute. The store itself is very clean and you can notice the employees cleaning the rooms often. I expect a pet store to have a stronger animal smell than this Petland does. The puppies are nice looking and clean. I appreciated all of the extras that Petland gives out with the puppies such as food, vitamins, kennel, toys, shampoo, and more. This certainly isn't required of Petland, but it is nice to know that they want all of their puppies well taken care of when they go home. The warranties offered are a nice addition as they offer peace of mind. Even though the employees are always super busy, I find that an effort is always made to meet my needs and answer any questions I might have. Petlands usually get a bad wrap, but this specific Petland is amazing! After learning that this location is different from the other locations, thank gosh, I will definitely continue to purchase from here! The Purdue University program makes me feel confident in purchasing a puppy from here, and I love that they actually send home supplies with their puppies. Not only this but I got to visit the exact breeder my puppy came from and I was delighted to see that my puppy came from a good home! Wish I could rate 0 stars. They get their dogs from puppy Mills. Their pets are in poor condition. They hire people who have no idea what they're doing. This is a disgusting money hungry cooperation making money off of sick abused animal that most likely won't live and charge ridiculous prices. Pathetic. My husband and I went by to check out a puppy we saw online. I left so sad and depress these fur babies look horrible some laying in their own feces. Others looking so I'll that they couldn't move. The last time I was at this store they had to best selection of animals! Everything from puppies, birds, reptiles and fish! Every employee was so nice and offered me to play with any animal I'd like.
