I honestly can't believe how much this place has gone downhill. I was a loyal customer for over six…read moreyears and trusted Splash and Dash with my dogs. During all those years, not once did anyone ever tell me my dog was aggressive or had any behavioral issues. Then, around 2025, everything changed. Out of nowhere they started claiming my dog was trying to bite the groomers and eventually refused to groom her unless I got a veterinarian's note saying she was on medication. Imagine being told that after six years of bringing the same dog there without a single complaint. They had me genuinely questioning whether something was wrong with my dog. To make sure, I took her to a completely different groomer. Their response? They said my dog was an absolute saint and behaved perfectly the entire time. That told me everything I needed to know. I've also since found out Splash and Dash is under new management, and that's exactly when all these issues started. On top of that, I have another dog who has come home from this place with scratches and even bleeding. I can't say what happened behind closed doors, but no pet owner should have to pick up their dog in that condition or be made to feel like their well-behaved pet is suddenly the problem. After six years of loyalty, this is how I was treated. It's incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I used to recommend this place to everyone, but I absolutely can't anymore. If you truly care about your pets, I'd think twice before bringing them here

We usually only come to a Petsmart to get dog food for the dog's occasional visits to our home. Our last visit here though did involve picking up some starter feeder fish (29 cents per fish, and they are used as food for bigger fish if not sold) for the kiddos as their first pets and the friendly staffer here was helpful and a fun guy. The grand-darlings were given full responsibility for daily feeding and weekly water changing and they did ok I guess, as those fish lasted a week. They are on their second batch of slightly bigger fish, and they're still alive after a month or so, so they are improving their pet owning skills. Thank you Petsmart for adequately meeting our pet needs.

I can run in and out of every single location and grab essentials when I am running low (e.g., cat litter, treats) and when they offer sales and coupons, stock up! In the dead of winter, they offer a sheltered, heated, space for me to "walk" my dog and my odd cat that freaks out in happiness when he hears me get his clear "bubble" carrier out and is excited to go anywhere. If you can write a review independently, without comparing Pet Supplies to a behemoth like PetSmart, they earned every single star. What is better than PetSmart? "Please be sure to thoroughly disinfect any freshwater plants purchased from this location. I unfortunately did not, and the consequences were significant. While the staff was friendly, the store itself appeared somewhat unclean, and during my visit I noticed several lethargic goldfish as well as deceased fish in many of the freshwater tanks. Although I initially went in to purchase fish, I decided against it and instead brought home some water lettuce. Within three days, my own fish became severely ill, and despite our efforts to save them, two did not survive. It appeared to be an E. coli outbreak. In hindsight, I should have sterilized the plants before introducing them to my aquarium, even though this is not something I have typically done in the past. I hope this helps others avoid a similar experience, and perhaps the marine and coral sections are maintained to a higher standard." I called ahead because I am 120 miles away in Freeport. The guy (Alphonso) said go ahead and bring it in and we'll try to take care of you. He worked with it for about ten minutes and concluded the same as me - it wasn't pumping. He went to the owner and she said I would have to get the manufacturer to replace it because "I didn't but it from HER". Well, when you buy a business, you get the products, the fixtures and everything with the business - including the customer base. I asked her if she would take care of a customer like me who had done business with the previous owners if they wanted to buy something from her. Of course she said yes, I said, well then if you are willing to take care of them, why won't you take care of me?" She said, listen I am not replacing it because I didn't sell it to you and asked me to leave. Unless you like doing business with somebody that will not help you if there is a problem -stay away!
