I have 3 dogs that we'eve rescued from the Animal Welfare League so, we are very big advocates of saving pets. Vicki of Coopers Way LLC is such a caring, honest individual and I love that she has made these special treats for the canine community that are made with REAL meat and no preservatives. I'm sure all of you have heard about products imported from China and how they have either made our pets sick and in some cases have contributed to their death. It is such a relief to know that there is someone who is local that is making a product that is healthy and contributes to the health and well being of our pets by insuring a safe treat to give to them. Thank you Vicki for making these wonderful healthy treats for our dog family members. P. S. They wait by the cabinet that I keep them in and just keep watching for me to open the cabinet. Thank you so very much for your great dog treats Vicki! Daisy, who has a very sensitive mouth and stomach is in love with them. I am so happy to know that your dog treats are made chemical-free and LOCALLY! You were so kind to my parents by dropping off their order, we really appreciated it. We will for sure be placing future orders! I agree with Lizz and Larry. Zeke, I have know doubt your dog was ill, and I hope he or she is better. However, I would think that Vicki and Cooper's Way would be held quite liable if she was promoting her products as chemical-free, but was then adding them. She is an honest person with a huge heart for animals and I doubt she would be doing that. My dog, Juan, has been gobbling down these treats and is doing just fine! read more

My dog Banzai has been eating these treats for years. I am very very fussy about what he eats and buy only super premium foods and these are made with USA human grade meat and with great care. No additives and no Chinese ingredients. Plus the company supports rescue. I buy two bags at a time because he loves them. His favorites are the chicken and the pork. Re: the troll here...it sounds like what might happen with a Chinese made product which are very very common in even the best stores. I will also state the my Vet is carrying these now. A vote of confidence to be sure. read more

As a care taker for several dogs, I am very particular about the treats I personally buy for them. After the tainted Chinese products killed so many beloved pets, I have to be extra cautious with the pets I care for. Cooper's Way treats are all natural, no additives or chemicals...simply fresh dried meat. If given a choice of their usual treats brought from home or a Cooper's Way treat...Cooper's Way is always their pick. Real meat versus a crumbly cookie...natural vs artificial...organic vs chemical...shouldn't we feed the same natural goodness to our dogs that we would want in our own food. Regarding Zeke's review...I don't doubt that his dog was ill, but if it took the government scientists months to figure out the Chinese chemical poisoning of dog food products, I doubt a local vet could pinpoint the exact treat that was tainted, along with all the other food the dog may have consumed at the same time. read more

We Love the products that Cooper's Way makes for Dogs. Both our girls love them, they never are as happy with other snacks. We have a 75lbs dog that is absolutely terrified of thunderstorms. When we have to leave for work, the only way we can get her outside to go potty, is to entice her with one of the Jerky's. No other snack helps. I love giving them something that is not only healthier, made in the USA, but they truly love. We will be customers for years. Highly recommend read more

My dog became extremely ill after eating the chicken jerky. He vomited for two days. I took him to the vet, and they kept him there on an IV drip for three days. The vet bill was nearly $2,000. The vet believes that the chicken jerky was tainted with chemicals. I called Vicki at Cooper's way, and she became irate and swore at me when I told her what happened, like it was my fault. Never once did she ask if my dog was O.K. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. IT IS TAINTED WITH CHEMICALS. THIS PRODUCT NEARLY KILLED MY DOG. read more

The sprinkles are amazing! My dog had issues with eating and we purchased these all natural chicken sprinkles to put on top of her food and now my dog eats her food right away. We have been using it ever since. I love that chicken is the only ingredient & it's all natural. We also have the jerky treats and she thoroughly enjoys those as well! read more

Cooper's Story: My name is Cooper. I am 7 years old & was rescued from a kill shelter. Actually, I rescued my Mom! Mommy's last dog died in her arms at home. Dad drove her to all the shelters in the area for weeks until she came to me. Our eyes met and it was love at first sight. While on vacation, Mom bought lots of Chicken Jerky that she thought was safe for me & packed it in her carry-on luggage. She thought TSA would stop her for trafficking. About to give me some jerky the next day, she saw "Made in China" on the label. What? These are hazardous to my health! But my Mom would do anything for me, even cook, so we researched how to naturally make Jerky. OMG, I love R & D! (So much jerky, so little time.) So did my doggy friends. Everyone encouraged us to open our own business since they also couldn't find an all-natural product. Currently, we sell thru our website, are in over 60 stores, and are steadily growing.

From Dental Hygienist to entrepreneur. I personally manufacture 100% All Natural Grain Free Jerky Treats for Pets. I began the business 10-2012 after a prolonged and futile search for quality jerky with nothing added. Cooper's Way is USA (Glenview, IL) made & sourced. I use fresh, never frozen restaurant quality poultry, meat. All our products are free of additives, preservatives & chemicals. Since I have been a volunteer at our local animal shelter for over 15 years, I donate all our food trimmings and any jerky overruns so nothing goes to waste.

The grooming sessions have been rushed and always like they were done last minute and so sloppy. Today I brought him on the dot for his 2:30pm appt and he was taken in back at 2:45pm. The drop off seemed reassuringly thorough because it was supervised by Alex the store general manager and we spent 15m selecting the length and my requests. He stated that Eun was fast and Mochi would be done about 4:30pm. I returned at 4:30pm and was told they needed another 30m. He wasn't done until 5:45pm. He was trimmed by a razor, but none of my requests were fulfilled. His legs were not stove piped (see the summer lawn pics) and his ears were too short and uneven, s well as prts of his jawline, the face was sloppy and uneven, and WORST of all his private were nicked. If I had noticed that in-store, I would have gone off. As it was I was beyond furious and needed to compose myself. Look at the pic of his poor penis. JFC what the hell.

We feed our guys Natural Balance Limited Ingredient with "wholesome" grain, but their stock of various sizes and varieties has been thinning out. Last month, this store was sold out of a particular Kong toy. A helpful cashier called the warehouse and arranged for the items to be shipped directly to us. I received an order confirmation email that same day. The next day, I received a notice that the order was delayed. Then, one week later, I was informed that the order was canceled. I did not cancel it and no explanation was given (I was not charged). Last week, I received an email coupon whose subject line stated "Unleash Savings! $50 off just for you," but the actual coupon read "$40 off" (see screenshot). I pointed out the discrepancy to the cashier. When he scanned the coupon, it came up as invalid altogether. He spent considerable time and effort trying to get the bar code to work, but in the end he summoned the manager, who subtracted $50 manually. Petco needs to get its act together.

The grand-darlings were given full responsibility for daily feeding and weekly water changing and they did ok I guess, as those fish lasted a week. They are on their second batch of slightly bigger fish, and they're still alive after a month or so, so they are improving their pet owning skills. Met Vicki at a Pet Expo at Arlington race track. Where I purchased a leash to help my arm not get pulled out of its socket when i walk my neighbor's dog. She was extremely helpful. She showed me different types of leashes as well as the best way to apply it to stop the pulling. I attached photos to further expain her technique. But wrapping the leash around the dog's belly was a trick proven to be very successful. This woman is a saint. She is kind, compassionate and helps with community awareness. Not only on how to handle your dog but with human interactions as well. If you are looking for a good soul to work with or find what you need this is whom I would strongly recommend. When I first found these jerky treats I checked with my vet because my dogs have had all kinds of problems with other jerky treats because of the chemical in them. My vet looked at the product then checked them out and found that they were all natural and that my dogs would have no problems with them. Well my dogs almost bite my fingers off each time I give them one of these treats so when I saw a review posted from Zeke saying that his dogs got sick on them I couldn't believe it because i have checked out their product, along with my vet and we have found out they are all natural and contain no chemicals or addatives! Now sure, any human could write a review about Cooper's Way treats but really, don't you want to hear from the dogs themselves? After all, they are the ones who eat them... Thor the Wonder Saint (Bernard) was ending his shift raising funds for the local Saint Bernard rescue at the Great Lakes Pet Expo and was frankly tired from his efforts when he was approached by members of Cooper's Way inviting him to try a sample. I found this small business at local craft shows and the pet expos. I love the bungee cord leashes for my dog! He used to pull a lot on a regular leash. My Havanese is a picky eater but he loves the chicken and pork sprinkles that I add to his food. Thanks to this genius product, he eats his meals nicely. The customer service is great as well! What a great find. My dog really loves the chicken and pork jerkey. He is rather picky about treats but doesn't hesitate to gobble these up. When I leave in the morning I ask him to sit and then I give him one. With other treats he would leave it and I would find it on the floor when I came home.
