This is a great place to get good quality dog food whether it is bags of dry, cans of wet, rolls of refrigerated, boxes of dehydrated, etc. There are so many options! Luckily the staff is always friendly, educated and willing to help make suggestions or show you around the store. There is an entire wall of dog treats and also barrels throughout the store with bulk style treats and chews that you can mix and match and create an assortment of. They also have dozens and dozens of different style collars, harnesses, leashes and walking aids that are both fashionable and functional. One of their locations in Tennessee has a bakery inside that ships cookies to the other retail locations. There is a countertop display with seasonally decorated and happy birthday icing cookies. Great to celebrate your own pup or gift to friends or family to let them know you're thinking of their furbaby, too! The store is dog friendly and leashed pets are welcome so if you get lucky you might get to pet some four legged friends while you shop! Hollywood Feed is located on Woodruff and Hwy 14, not far from Five Forks, in a newer shopping center with Sprouts, Kairos, Marble Slab, a nail salon, etc. There is almost always front row or very close to the door parking.

I have gone to several pet supplies plus in the Greenville area, including this one, between eight and 8:30pm and have always been warmly greeted and have had several of the employees actually interact with Riley while I was giving my girl a bath. Tonight I was told that it was company policy that they do not allow bathing to commence after 8 PM, within one hour of closing. My supervisor looked this up on their website and there's no mention of a cutoff for Self bathing your dog on the website. We very literally buy every single thing for our dogs from there, less a few special order training products and supplements. This is for a total of 53 dogs. I can't speak for the rest of my coworkers, but I will no longer be going back. Im certain if I don't do back, they won't go back. That was pure laziness on the employees part and showed a complete disregard for customer service. The manager never even came out to speak to me. I was dismissed so I left. All of this being said, pet supplies plus is a great store that stocks quality products and does care immensely about animals. When my dog was injured a year and a half a go, they donated a huge basket of stuff which was above and beyond. This is not a pet supplies plus issue. This is a People issue. I'm not writing this review to scold anyone or get anyone in trouble, but I do hope that it makes a difference for the next person that comes in under these circumstances. Petsmart has a bad reputation of neglect towards their animals, so when I walked in today I wasn't expecting anything good. I seen a leopard gecko in a tank alone, super skinny with an extremely skinny tail. It was obviously sick. I had no open tanks at home so I was going to buy one at the store and upgrade when I got the chance to the NEXT DAY when I was off of work. I was going to purchase a 20 gallon and all of the stuff it would need to survive. (I also have supplies at home from my other geckos). After putting everything in my cart I had to circle the store 2 TIMES to even find an employee. I finally found one hidden in the back corner which I asked if she could help me get the gecko that I wanted to purchase. Immediately she had an attitude about it and asked me if THAT was the tank I was planning on getting because it was "too small". I said yes and it would be temporary until I was off of work to upgrade a tank. (The tank is 20 gallons which is way better than what some people purchase, especially for long term??) she then complained that "it wasn't suitable" because there wasn't a picture of a leopard gecko printed on the front of the tank packaging?? She was incredibly rude and unprofessional and told me I couldn't buy any of it as if I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about. Mind you she's telling me all of this in front of the dead beta fish!! Petsmart, get better about who you're hiring..safe to say I will absolutely NOT be back to this petsmart.

The cashier was having difficulty with the cash register and the discount was only coming up as a few dollars. A 10% discount should have been around $15.00. I was told that small amount is what the computer said and there was nothing that could be done. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager. I asked if she could do the calculation manually and was told it would not make a difference because she could not override the computer. This was a very disappointing situation. Pet Supermarket needs to empower their employees to rectify OBVIOUS problems.

I stopped by since I was thinking of one of my girlfriends whom we were all out together the night before who has her precious dog named Connor and texted her about it. There were different reps from the companies whose pet food brand are carried at this store. This is serious stuff, some are just a state or two away so the food is more fresh. The flavors for the food sounded quite appealing and it was amazing to learn that there are different ones depending on the food allergies that the dog or cat may have, whether old or young, size, etc. My Hubby has tons of allergies (thus one reason for no pets and he was smart not to ask me to choose between him and my cat when we got married decades ago) and these food options were quite amazing. These were dry food but there were also canned (and other packaged that needs to be refrigerated). I decided to go into the store and it almost felt like when our kids were young, when we would go to the mall and stop by the Disney Store! The aisles were nicely laid out, clean. I never realized how large the store was as I never walked to this end of Publix strip at Five Forks. The staff were very friendly and upbeat and wow, towards the back is like pet spa for dogs (maybe cats too) as I saw one large dog getting prepped to go to his "room" and there were signs of the different treatments. I'm posting photos of the store and of the Expo. They were handing out treats to the dogs that were there and the store staff were wearing costumes. Definitely telling my friend about this place as I know she treats her dog with a silver spoon. I don't know what pet prices are like, though they seemed to be having a special with this event. Either way, definitely check this place out if you want to get supplies, food, toys, pet furniture, grooming/treatments for your dog and/or cat.
