The staff was friendly and were gentle with my dog but there was urine in the check in area as well as the exam room. It didn't appear to be cleaned between appointments. Cleanliness is a priority with me. read more

I am so grateful I have found Dr. Iris. My dogs have had some digestive issues for a few months now and she prescribed them homeopathy and supplements. Showed me how to properly cut their nails and gave me ton of other information. She is thorough and spent over an hour with me. My dog is very scared of vets and she was so relaxed in the office. It's a very friendly feel. As for the two negative reviews, when I read them, they actually helped me make a decision to call for an appointment even faster. Omgosh... what ?!?! This vet doesn't over vaccinate your pets? Wow. And she is pro breathing air? No way!!!! If you are not looking for a holistic veterinarian and are not open to alternative, natural pet care, are super rigid (brainwashed) in your views and only trust conventional medicine, this isn't a place for you. read more

The fact that this place has over 4 stars blows my mind. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a vet. We took in our 18 month old dog who was suffering from a limp after hip surgery. They did nothing but guilt trip us about how we're not feeding her the right food and how dare we have her on Nexgard because that has chemicals that could harm her. They actually genuinely recommended we take her off flea prevention meds and use some garlic tabs in her food instead. They also recommended we be careful to not over vaccinate with the typically recommended vaccinations. But the kicker for me was that my dog growled at the vet. She growls at everyone because she is protective of us. Every vet and technician we have EVER encountered soothes her and pets her to tell her it's okay and then she's good to go. She just needs to see that we're okay with the person and that they're nice and she's good. This vet REFUSED to touch our dog and stated we needed to take her to training. She made no effort to bond with her but stuck her nose up at her not being perfectly behaved. Then they had the nerve to charge us $100 when the doctor didn't even touch our dog! I am sure they will comment and talk about how overly aggressive my dog was and how they were fearful and don't want to add extra stress to the dog by putting on a muzzle (which wouldn't have been necessary but we would have been okay with if it meant they were willing to actually look at her). I am disgusted and appalled that this woman claims to care for animals because realistically, she and her office dont. She was stuck up and treated everyone around her, including her nurse/technician terribly. Please avoid this office and seek advice elsewhere. read more

The lady doctor is very good but the office is chaotic with phones ringing and her running back-and-forth doing two or three things at once we went through because we took our first dog there are nine years ago -- she forgot to do a couple things that the second vet asked us about that probably would not change the outcome but needless to say it put doubts in our mind about putting our dog down --I would not recommend her because it's just too chaotic in the office and she doesn't work full-time so it's hard to get in in a timely basis as we waited a week for an appointment for our sick dog it's partially my fault we should've taken that as an omen and went to someone else then she tried to sell us some $300 newfangled technology that I'm trying to return now because our dog was put to sleep by another vet shortly after this hopefully she'll refund or $300 for this piece of junk but I can always dispute the credit card charge -we're currently waiting to find out she means well read more

Vet Iris is very unprofessional. I dont even know where to begin. For starters there was not one mask worn in the whole place. The vet put the medicine she was giving to my dog in her mouth first and licked it then put it in my dogs mouth. They have a young teen in there helping and speaking very unprofessional to the teen. Spoke to me about her other customers and was giving me lectures of things that have no correlation with my pet or why I'm there. Waste of time and money. The vet doesn't seem to know what she's doing, she said there were several problems with my dog but then never addressed them. Took my dog to a different vet and the vet told me there aren't any problems. Can't believe this place is still up and running. read more

Our old PONS was at death's door step when I took her to be "put down" at Pet Wellness Center. After tests, treatment, and a few magic Ozone Treatments, she is better than before she took sick. This office is a wonderful and welcoming place for your pet--and you! The staff, along with Dr.Iris, is more than friendly and qualified. I like the fact that you will always see the same Vet and staff, who know you and your pet--No Strangers Here! I've been seeing Doc Iris for over a year for my two large doodles and have absolutely zero complaints. I have to disagree with everything the last review says...my dogs get adjusted by Doc and I can visibly see the difference in them. Especially my older pup. She also is the most affordable vet I've been to between Florida and any of the vets I saw in Michigan. She truly cares about the health of your pets. If you want a holistic vet who won't push you to poison your dog with allopathy, she is your gal. Anyone who doesn't truly understand holistic medicine or herbalism would undoubtedly undermine her practices. You have a client for life here! : ) read more

Dr. Ramirez has a gift for healing animals. I was told by a prior vet to give up on my 16 year old pup due to a cancer diagnosis. Dr. Ramirez has significantly improved his quality of life and additionally helped to reduce the amount of harsh medications he was taking. Doctor Iris was exceptional with our Harvey. He was terminal and our regular vet was doing minimal to even attempt to save him. She tried everything to not only save him, but make him comfortable. When the time came, and nothing more could be done, she was very compassionate. We were able to say goodbye to him at our home and be with him until the very end. Dr. Cooper and his staff are among the most caring and helpful veterinary professionals we have encountered in the 15 years with our dog. We highly recommend his use of laser treatments in healing our dog's arthritis.
