I contacted them immediately and talked to an older gal who wasn't very nice. She said they would take out the lilies, and I asked for a picture of the completed arrangement. I waited...and never got a picture. I then called them back and talked to a nice gal and told them I rather the flowers not be delivered if they looked anything like the first picture. The nice lady said they would have redone a new arrangement if I wasn't happy, but I was never given that option on the first phone call I made, even though I told her the arrangement looked embarrassing. I was told that the arrangement was already out for delivery. Ugh! What my friend received looked pathetic. Not happy at all with this purchase. It's a lot of white flowers with brown tips. This is NOT a pretty arrangement at all. I'm sorry I spent $100 on this transaction. It's a bummer to spend half the day worrying, texting and calling. What a bland bouquet. Okay - great! Appreciated the transparency and I understand how overwhelming this particular holiday likely is. However, I later I received an email saying there was a delivery attempt and that no one was home (weird, I had specified to leave them on the porch in that case). Well, it turns out there was never an attempt to deliver - we checked the Ring cam footage. I'm not sure if this is a scam, or just terrible customer service. I've requested a refund. My suggestion is use this florist at your own risk. If you are ordering flowers for a specific date, this likely isn't a good solution. Luckily, my mother is pretty understanding that she didn't get a Mother's Day gift.

There were baby bibs and toys with Finnish sayings on them, magnets and souvenirs from "the Olde country", napkins and tea-light metal carousels and other Nordic-European fare. If you're nostalgic for Nordic fare, you're sure to get your fix here. The bad news: the prices. Even acknowledging that the merchandise is from Norway, who wants to pay $15 for a pair of socks that don't look special or different that what you can find in any sock store (I'm talking red socks with a stripe of flowers on them? Nothing that screams "I'm special and imported from Denmark!"). Even the Poulsbo souvenir magnets (which are probably made in China) were overpriced. And the lady behind the counter was dour and I don't think she cracked a smile since the 60's. No "thank you for stopping by" or "how can I help you?" or anything. I didn't get the warm fuzzies here.
