Lovely neighborhood corner flower shop with super friendly owners who entertained me with delightful conversation while I waited. I came here once for corsages and a boutonniere for my brother and sister in law's wedding dinner. They duplicated the more earthy white and green floral picture I brought in very well. She was very happy with their work and they fulfilled the order with just days notice. Most recently my husband bought me a bouquet for Mother's Day. He asked for Gerber daisies because they are my favorite. They literally only had one left, but created a beautiful boho bouquet using three other types of daisies, as well as greenery and a single sexy white rose. I love them. They were exactly my style, and exactly the kind of aesthetic he had asked for. They stayed within his said budget and created the bunch as a walk-in. Nothing but good experiences here. This group did a fantastic job on an arrangement sent to folks who had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic. Kathy later gave me a call after my online order to confirm what kind of blooms would appear in the arrangement. Flowers were sent the next day and looked better than the photo! As my sister loved flowers, I went onto the internet to find a florist whom I felt would do the loveliest arrangements for her funeral. I was truly impressed with what I saw on Petals web site, I called and spoke to Kathy, the owner. She was extremely kind and helpful and totally understood what I wanted. The flowers on the casket were breathtaking as were 2 standing arrangements that I and my children had ordered. I stopped by this nice little shop a couple of times this past Spring. They have a nice assortment of flowers, which were very fresh. Most of all, the staff is so nice. I have been coming to this flower shop since the 1st day, literally the 1st day they opened their doors. I have never had a problem. The roses and flowers were always perfect. I ordered my mother a dozen pastel roses for Christmas. They arrived discolored and turned brown within the time they were delivered. I called and although they attempted to fix the problem, the same thing occurred with the next bunch of roses. They replaced the old flowers with new flowers that were less brown and discolored but yet, none the less were definitely dying. The roses arrived in a vase that was extremely small and the roses were cramped with very little water. They did not give us any powdered food for the roses and we all know that roses ALWAYS come with food to put inside the water. To say the least, the roses were dead the following day for Christmas. My mother loves roses, they make her happy. She said they only looked beautiful for the first few hours and then they died. I saw the roses on Christmas day and I looked inside the vase and the little water that was in the vase was dehydrated into nothing, no water at all in the vase. I tried to salvage the roses and I filled the very small vase with water but it was obvious the roses were definitely dead. I am seriously shocked that this happened and after so many years of purchasing roses here, I don't understand why they sold me roses that were so damaged. It is unacceptable, especially for Christmas and being a gift to a mother or anyone else for that matter, not to mention the expense of the roses. I am actually sad for my mother. By the way, I did tip the woman who came to the door, she looked miserable and did not crack a smile. We are all so disappointed, never again will I buy roses at this Florist. read more
