Adopted a second dog and its kibble is different from rescue dog #1. Lucky for me, Petco carries what I need so it makes my shopping for dog food so much easier. I like that this location is super close to my home, which makes it easy for going and buying at the last minute. My newest addition is super tiny and loves to wear clothes. Petco offers a good variety to choose from and they even have a clearance rack. Shopping the clearance rack is like shopping at Marshall's or TJ Maxx for myself. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I cannot find what I am searching for. Also, I give them a shout out for keeping the store clean and smelling fresh. Lots of pet stores have that certain smell, this one does not. If you were blindfolded and took a big whiff, you would never guess you were in a pet store. We called several times on Saturday to ask about nail trimming for our dog, but no one would answer the phone. So i went to the website to schedule a nail trim and it said nail trimming is a walk- in service. So we walked in and got in line. The door to grooming says no more than 1 family w pet in at a time. There was a lady sitting and waiting on the bench so we took a seat , waiting with our dog. There were 5 dogs before us, finally, after an hour we were up. We went in and asked for a nail trim. They asked for proof of rabies shot. Yes, our pooch has her tag that clearly shows her last rabies was in 2022, so she's good to go! Nope. they won't use the tag as verification. The groomer told us we could have found it on the street for all they know. So, what, we're liars? We are lying to get our dog's nails done? It does NOT say this on the website, or any where around the store. So we wasted an hour of our and a half of our Sunday for nothing because petco has deemed our rabies tag is a fake, we are liars, and never once during my effort to contact them, make an appointment, find out how it all worked did we see anything about needing a paper verifying rabies vaccination. I absolutely LOVE Dez in the grooming salon! The only person I would trust my dog with! My dog absolutely loves her and she will do anything to make a dog feel comfortable and safe! Including letting a soaking wet 70IB dog sit in her lap to dry her. She always comes out amazing and let's me know if anything looks like it needs to be checked out! That's how we found out my dog had a toe with no bone in it! (Who knew?) she goes above and beyond for her animals to only do right by them. I highly recommend Dez! read more

I was disappointed to learn that the Petco near my house had closed, so I was very excited to find one in my neighborhood at work. I need some goldfish for my outside pond. They had a huge tank in the middle of the fish section. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. I told him that I was just going to put them in an outside fish pond. He suggested the 15 cent ones in case a few died, plus he grabbed only the gold ones so you could see them in the pond instead of the black ones. How cool was that???? I got to the front to check out, the attendant was pushing the rewards card, I said that I don't really buy much, she said it was free and if any of my friends or family wanted to use the card, I could give them the free stuff. Sure what the heck all of my children have dogs and I can buy them treats.... Great place, quick service, and great customer service. read more

I am not a fan of this Petco. The customer service here sucks. I dealt with a member of management here who treated me like crap. I even witnessed this person treat other customers the same way. This nothing like the other Petco's in the area. Corporate really needs to take a look at the management team here. read more

The grooming salon needs a major overhaul with the staff. Visit 1 great Visit 2 great Visit 3 dog was still dirty and they scheduled the apt on the wrong day but fit him in Visit 4 dog was still dirty, had a horrible cut (supposed to be trimmed), knots behind his ears, they one of the girls said TO MY 10yo there is something wrong with his ear never said anything to my husband. I called to complain this time as I had enough of wasting money to still have a dirty dog that had perfume sprayed on him. Amanda the manager of the salon was more than willing to have him back, but I said what the point I'd rather wait. I had already re-washed him, and his hair wasn't going to grow back in just a week or two. She said that would be fine, but she would do it for free at our next visit. Visit 5 supposed to be a free visit, she tried to charge me still (only 25%off), then I said to the girl I was under the impression this was to be free this visit. So then Amanda replies "I was under the impression it was only %25 off then walks over and snatches the paper from the counter and said "fine I'll just take the pay cut" "I can see why the last girl had such a hard time with him, he is not a good candidate for a full body hair cut, I had to catch him in mid air several times" Um....OK? #1 I went out a bought a harness bc he out grew his and dropped it off with her before I every left the store bc I know he panics with he only has a collar and a leash. #2 Do not tell a customer something will be free and then try and charge them #3 I was not being ugly or even displaying an attitude so I wouldn't recommend that you treat any customer that way #4 The dog is still dirty in spots and his hair cut (again supposed to be a trim) it even worse than before. I highly recommend that you find a different groomer and pet store as most of these people have titles that have no meaning. They are poorly trained employees that feel they have expertise because someone gave them a title. read more

Me and my partner Keith take our bulldogs to Petco to be groomed all the time. Everyone is friendly and nice. They always know them by name and shower them with attention. When they are done they look and smell great. read more

The store itself seems understaffed at times, but then sometimes I see several people in the office, so I'm not sure it's an understaffing issue. The grooming, though! Be sure you ask for Des! Her upbeat, dog-friendly attitude put my Maggie and myself at ease. Reasonable prices, too. This lady just loves dogs! read more

We have purchased pets and plenty of supplies from this Petco and always have a great time. We have purchased several fish and one ferret, we are about to get another, all are healthy and a joy to have. The staff there is always helpful when we have any questions about our pets. One time especially when I was looking for a corn and wheat free dog food because my dog has a lot of allergies; The sales associate in that section went above and beyond to help me find the best option. We enjoy going to this Petco sometimes just to see the beautiful animals they have. read more

omg .. this is my first reveiw and i must say i have been going to petco since i was a little kid.. and i must say the service has always been good.. im wrighting this for one big reson .. there was really really bad weather today.. tornado like infact .. i was in the store when the storm hit, me being a 15 year old thats still scared of big storms .. i was scared and the first thing that came out of my mouth was im scared .. a worker looked at me gave me a warm smile and reashured me that everything was alright ... i felt very safe with how the staff handled them selfs.. the guy incharge tonight did a wounderful job makeing sure everyone was safe .. im very very pleased read more

Hi! I just don't go to pet-smart for reasons to sad to say it has to do with the fact that they are associated with Ban-field is all I'll say. So just a month ago I got a hermit crab named Troup he lived for about 4 weeks and then he lost a leg some how and we couldn't find where the location of it was and 1 week later he died. So I went back there a little bit after wards and got a new one strange thing is this one has lost a leg too and I'm worried! And my other two crabs that aren't from Pet-co are totally fine! read more
