Going with a new groomer can be iffy, especially if you're nervous about how you want your dog(s) to appear. Dropped my Collies off today at 1:45 and they were done a bit before 4:00. My Collie boy has massive amounts of hair, and my female does not. Jo did everything I asked her to, and I was very impressed with her work and her professionalism. She even cleaned out my boy's ears. Huh...maybe that's why he isn't paying attention. LOL I am definitely going back. I don't normally leave reviews, but I had to in this instance. Had to take him to the urgent vet clinic and my baby has kennel cough. He received a bath I didn't ask for which has me concerned about the care and observation he received. I've been leery of the spot for some time after a few uses because there is no grass for him to pee or play. I've tried to overlook this, but how? Does he just go on the floor? Or in their kennels? In addition the owner's rude and dismissive disposition leaves much to be desired and much to avoid at all cost. Only because 1 or 2 of the front desk workers are kind do I feel regret for having to write this , but never will I ever subject my baby or myself to that facility. My dog's emergency vet bill, the poor care, and the lackluster customer service from the owner has me sold on never returning. An observation: a reviewer from just few days ago, 14 to be exact, made a similar complaint. Perhaps stop refuting the claim and review and clean a bit better, and treat your patrons like supporters and not the enemy. It's on you. NOT US! ***A lesser me would stand out of the spot warning people to not subject their dogs to that place

He got to play with sprinklers, enjoy one-on-one time with staff, cuddle during story time, and even have chicken and rice for dinner -- talk about VIP treatment! I recently needed a cat carrier to get a stray that I just adopted to the vet, and the lady who runs the store was very helpful. I'm sure she could've sold me a much more expensive one, but she had a used carrier in stock for just $15 which I really appreciated. She was also helpful at answering my questions about local vets and animal hospitals. The selection of merchandise here isn't huge since it's a small store, but if they have what you want then you can count on courteous and helpful service.

Also, he has a mole on his side that was scabbed from the clippers, and his bottom was irritated for a week afterwords (presumably due to rough handling when they expressed his glands.) Our dog is 13 years old, and he has been groomed many times by many different groomers since we have moved around. I have never seen him come back in such rough shape, and I felt compelled to share this info. I cannot recommend this groomer anymore. They have done a good job in past visits, but this was completely unacceptable.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this team in every location. One of my dogs recently had…read moreboth eyes removed and they have done everything they can to accommodate him to ensure he has a quiet, stress free experience. It's amazing to take your dogs somewhere and trust that they are being loved on the entire time. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else to be groomed. They are excellent with Pomeranians and my dogs smell great for at least three to four weeks after their appointment.

I pay for medium doodle (25lb-50lb) which is I think $105-150 or something - and they always charge 105. His cuts have been great and they have listened to all my requests, including having his ears cut really short. They have you pay and tip prior to seeing the dog which has not been an issue. Usually book appt close to and do any groomer available. This last time I brought him, they charged me 10$ more than usual even though prices are still the same, and my dog is (obviously) still the same. I keep him brushed so absolutely no mats. Thought it was weird but whatever. Gave a good tip like I usually do as they had been consistent. But this time his cut was all over the place. He has long straggly pieces everywhere and it just looks overall uneven. His private area/underbelly was not even shaved, and around his butt has long pieces as well and I don't think it was even cleaned. His nails were not even cut. When I dropped him off groomer asked if I wanted the same thing and I said yes reminded about the short ears. Day later I noticed he had a cut and looked like a pretty big scrape in his underarm that was definitely from the grooming - it was inflamed as well. Upset I had to tip before hand... I was feeling generous. Feeling pretty bummed bc I was so happy with their services up until this point, hence 3 stars. Moral of the story I guess is find a good groomer here and stick with them, book in advance. I'll try that from now on and update accordingly. Update: bathed my dog like a normally do once a week post our last grooming and he was petrified, uncontrollably shaking. Not sure what went on but, even though I have had 75% good grooms I'm pretty wary of bringing him back.

It seemed as though I was unwelcome from the very start and it proceeded to the completion of our interaction. She made it clear my business and my pet were not wanted. She also stated my breed usually doesn't do well at doggy daycare without even meeting my pet but she did state their was a dog there that was the same breed as mine. She made it overtly obvious there was some type of prejudice toward me. I wanted to see if she would even offer a brochure at the end of our interaction which she did not, I had to ask. Needless to say if you treat me in this manner I would not let you even lay eyes on my precious canine. BEWARE!! Make your own judgement but this was my personal experience.

My dog Izzy absolutely loves it at Paws! It's helped him socialize and he always leaves with a smile on his face. Most of the staff is also very nice, loving, good to the dogs. Besides a recent bought of kennel cough Izzy picked up at camp, we have no complaints about the day care. The issue I have is that out of the blue the owners decided to increase the half day rate from $19 to $35! That's 4 hours for $35! And a full day is the price of double what it costs for me to board my dog overnight at my veterinarian. I completely understand a business needing to hike up rates due to increased cost, but not only was this abruptly done, but the owner (like reviewer Hannah experienced) came up to me as I was picking up Izzy and said "we better buy packages now because prices are going up in a day or so!" It was rude and as a regular weekly customer I was offended that a mailing didn't go out, nor did an email or anything professional. Paws not only increases prices but no longer wipe the dogs down after they played and drooled on each other all day, and have not replaces their old, used toys in ages. Makes me sad but if prices don't go down, it seems like once our packages are done we will not be able to return to Paws. Just too expensive!
