The McGinnis store had a very rude employee so I decided to start shopping here. I told her of my bad experience at that store. The second reason is I placed an online order with Hollywood Feed and it was not delivered on the promised date. I had 3 starving German shepherds at home. I came to the store needing to get a bag of food until the delivery arrived. I explained to the manager that I just spent $130 on a shipment of food and I didn't budget for an additional $65 for bag of food but I needed it to feed them. There was a bag on clearance that was about to expire that was 10% off. I asked given the situation if she could offer any more discount. She said she could do 30% and it was a fantastic experience....so I thought Fast forward a week or so later and I'm getting reprimanded by corporate. They said she told them she was "offended" that I asked for an additional discount and that I called the employee at the other store a "bitch". I was shocked. I disputed calling her that. And SHE'S the one who offered 30% discount. I didn't force her hand. Before it was Hollywood feed it was Rucker pet. We shopped there for 10 years. Outstanding customer service. But not with Hollywood. HORRIBLE service. In fact one of our neighbors stopped using Hollywood as well due to very poor customer service. So now we are with PetFlow. No sales tax, cheaper prices and free delivery. These box stores think they can treat customers like they did me. Go ahead. You'll be closing your doors within a couple years.

During my cats stay, he supposedly got out a couple times, and we were not notified until we came to pick him up, and saw he was in a cage instead of the kitty condo I had paid extra for. He seems to also have lost weight, assuming due to being stressed/maybe not enjoying the food. This would not be such an issue as if i had been notified i could've had someone bring his food to them. I also noticed a small scratch under his chin, no idea where it came from. I'm sure this place is a great place to board dogs and older cats, but I would not recommend for a rambunctious/playful cat.

The person in charge even sent the poor front desk clerk to give us the message because she was in a sudden meeting. Yeah right! I would never, ever adopt from these judgy condescending people. I have worked with a couple of non-profit animal adoption organizations, and as long as the elderly or disabled person has a backup option, they will adopt to them. Thankfully, another agency actually worked with us, and we adopted the cutest, sweetest little dog ever.
