    DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO GET GROOMED HERE. Danielle B traumatized my dog. She shaved half of his cut off and claimed he was being aggressive, but when I picked him up he was shivering in the corner as if she abused him.     I just love love love this place!!!!!! I didn't realize how big this store really was. Wow if your looking for treat or dog food they have it all. The prices aren't to bad for what you get in quality. If your needing your dog to get haircut or a bath check this place out. I bought 40 lbs of bird food her for 8.99 can't beat that. Seems like everyone was happy and willing to help me out. Great job Petco

    I would give less stars if I could. Poor quality animal care. Every time I come into this hellhole it's sick reptiles, rodents, and dead betta fish. I was in earlier today and they had a leopard gecko with a wound on its face and a garter snake with a bone dry water dish and no humidity. Employees at every turn but not a single one of them has time to take care of the animals or knows anything about them?? I refuse to buy animals here because the ones I want are either sick or thrown in with sick ones and the employees can never tell you how to take care of them or tell you the wrong info so people are buying animals without knowing how to care for it properly. Don't go here, it will just make you sad.

    If I could give less stars I would! Today was my first and last experience at petco! Not only did my dog have razor burn all over his underside they told me he had flees. My dog is 11 years old and has been groomed since he was 6 months old. He takes a monthly pill for flees and I personally gave him a bath two days ago and no flees were found dead or alive! They were told he had sensitive skin and to use oatmeal soap which wasn't done either! The manager of the dog grooming was there when I picked my dog up and acted like the razor burn was no big deal and that it wasn't that it must have been the flee treatment soap they used on him and gave me some aloe to put on it. I understand mistakes happen but at least own up to it! Will not be returning. Please if u love your dog for the love of God take them elsewhere! Here we are almost a week later and my dog has sores all over him and still red from grooming :(

    Took my Pomeranian to be groomed. They did an excellent job. Not an easy breed to groom.

    The Petco in fayetteville does not, but the Petco in rogers does as they have a vet clinic inside their store. You could also check out Tractor Supply. They usually have monthly vaccine clinics.

He is a 20# 9 month old Schnoodle and had an 11:00 appt. I called and left a message at 3:00 to see if he was ready and no answer. At 4:30 I went down and they said he had been ready for hours. They lied and said they didn't have my phone number which was provided when I filled out the paperwork and was on my previous dog's info. They also said he acted up and charged me $15.00 extra for bad behavior. He's a small dog and has never been a problem to bathe before. Marilyn the owner was not there and I was so angry that I left without telling her what happened. We will not be going back and I am very disappointed but they did have my phone number because I left messages. Keeping my dog in a cage for hours was cruel and I would never recommend them.

Dealing chronic illness I wasn't able to take as good care of them eventually, but I did my best and Megan never shamed me about it. Instead she gave me realistic expectations ("No, crazy lady, they cannot have Schnauzer cuts unless you can commit to regular brushing and more frequent grooming. How about I cut them very short and a little bit less short where the furnishings would be?") and have them fantastic care through illnesses, discomfort, and the general situation of aging dogs. I never would have felt comfortable taking them to someplace like Petco with the care they needed. Lucky Dogs is way better and they've got a much better attention to detail! In addition, she made a special house call for my mom when she was dealing with a lot of hospitalizations and couldn't brush her Akita. He probably lost 10# of fur that day and Megan's arms had to have been sore from sorting through a 150# boy blowing his coat, but he looked so handsome and my mom and I were so grateful that she went above and beyond, especially considering she did this on her personal time and I KNOW how exhausting and challenging big dogs can be to groom.

When we have him boarded, we pay for the large executive suite, even though our dog is only 10 pounds. Money has never been an issue when it comes to our dog. I have been happy with their service, but that changed a few weeks ago when I took my dog there to have him groomed -- an appointment I made about a month before. I received a text from them that said his appointment was at 9 a.m., and I walked in at 9:02. The woman at the front desk was snippy and said they were going to charge me a $20 fee because he was late. I said, "The text said that his appointment is at 9." She told me that it was 9:02, and if the appointment is at 9, that means he needs to be there before 9. She bragged that someone came in one minute late the day before and they had to pay the fee. I honestly thought she was joking. I assumed the owner didn't know how they were treating good customers, so I asked if he was there and if I could talk to him. He came in and was immediately rude and aggressive. I calmly mentioned that I was two minutes late and that we have been coming there for years. I thought he would at least apologize and say, "I understand how you feel, but it's our policy." It still would not have made it right, but I would have at least felt heard. Instead, he was extremely emotional and told me that he had already called another customer to come in because I was late. He kept telling me how much my being late had inconvenienced him. I said, "Well, I'll pay the fee, but I don't plan to bring my dog back in the future." He began to scream at me, and told me to take my dog and that he wasn't going to groom my dog. I tried to de-escalate the situation. I was in shock and didn't know what to say. I couldn't believe this was really happening. I was in disbelief that a business owner would act this way. I stayed calm the entire time, but he continued to throw a fit. I asked him to go ahead and groom my dog, and he told me that my dog would be the last one out since he was the last one there. I almost said, "I thought you called someone else to bring in their dog," but I didn't. I said that was fine. The most upsetting part is that ever since I picked up my dog, he had been shaking and extremely skittish. We are worried about how he was treated while he was in their care. Needless to say, we will never take him there again. I've never written a negative review before, but I do not want others to go through what I did. I wish I could give less than one star.

It was NOT longer than that. Mom had a cardiac cath that morning, and there was a lot going on, so I was a FEW MINUTES LATE. For check in. When her dog would likely sit in a cage for hours before they got to her. Poor customer service, and poor loyalty to their long-time customers. Mom is the type of person to just pay it without complaint, so I'm complaining on her behalf. This isn't right. I'll urge her to use a different groomer next time. However, she's also a very loyal and kind customer, so she'll probably stick with them. P.S. Of course, I'll pay the late fee myself. It wasn't mom's fault it was late.
