So my rating is for the over all cleaness of the store. When I have to pick up my nephew from school, he wants me to take him to the Zoo but it's either too hot or too soon for closing time that it's not worth taking the drive. What better way to make a little three years old happy is to take him to Petco. Petco has fresh water/ salt water fish, lizards, turtles, ferrets, snakes, mouse, rats and sometime rabbits for sell. They offer pet grooming. You can purchase pet foods, toys, cages and all things for your pets needs.

Mens Urinal Totally Nasty hasn't been cleaned in years!!!

Staff is always friendly and helpful. I been coming here for about 3 years. Every so often I will use the urinal in the restroom and took note that it has been never cleaned. So I went this weekend and still not cleaned, which is very nasty I almost threw up my Sunday brunch looking at it. This is a big reflection on the Brand and management. I posted a pic so you can see for yourself.

The other is a mystery breed puppy who had some basic training before coming to us, but also had some early trauma and is very, very reactive to everything outside of our house (dogs, birds, bugs, people, you name it). Ann's positive approach and ability to tailor lessons on the fly to each dog's specific needs have made a world of difference in our lives. The group lessons help the dogs get comfortable around other people and dogs, and as owners you learn so much about your dog from seeing them react to others and also hearing other people's experiences and tips. We learned so much from our round of classes with dog #1 that we almost didn't feel the need to sign up for another round with dog #2 (you really learn to integrate training into your every day life) - but we decided to sign up again anyway and are so happy we did because we continue to learn something new every time. I can't say enough good things about Ann and her training. She is just a truly special person who loves dogs and really knows what she's doing, and we're so grateful we found her.

She is very reactive to other animals when on a leash, but when she's given free reign, she has a blast. I work a lot, so I try to take her to day care once or twice per week so she can get out and play - and she does! It's very rare that I'll check the cameras and she's seated. She's typically right in the mix and playing with all sorts of dogs in the big play yards. If I drop her off for 8 hours, she has at least two hours of running, another 2-4 of playing, and the rest mostly meandering. (She has a pit pat tracker.) She is typically asleep before we even make it home, and then she will sleep well through the rest of the day and through the night. They have cute (if overpriced) crafts and activities for the dogs, the staff have always been extremely helpful, and my pup starts pulling me towards the door as soon as we pull up. I have gone to other locations (not CBW) in the New Orleans area, and the smells and sketchiness of the employees always makes me grateful for this location and their care for my pup.

I already had a dog, Bugg, who was not a fan of Maybelline and her lack of boundaries only compounded the situation- they couldn't be together without Maybelline running at Bugg and stepping over him (he's a tiny guy). I was determined to make this work so I reached out to ARNO and they connected me to Matt. We had a one hour training session and it was a great experience. Both dogs were comfortable with Matt from the get go. A lot was covered but the breakthrough for me was Matt's guidance in giving the dogs freedom to interact and allowing Bugg to "correct" Maybelline when she invaded his space/ignoring his cues of "I don't want to play, you are too close, give me space" so she couldn't learn. He gave specific recommendations for how much interaction to allow before separating the dogs and to limit face to face positioning. Matt helped me understand body language cues which eased my anxiety- it wasn't aggression on either end, just a case of one dog trying to say "stop annoying me" and the other dog being totally clueless. After that session I was able to relax and let them interact more without feeling like I had to be a helicopter. Soon the dogs were snoozing on the couch together and walking together without issue. We would have gotten here eventually without Matt's help but it would have taken so much longer and have been way more stressful than necessary. I added pictures to show our success :)

In my experience I check the cameras intermittently throughout the day and sometimes he is napping in the kennel other times he is out on the play yard living his best life. From a little research and word of mouth I stumbled upon the rovervelt. I'm very hesitant on where I take the boys because I've had groomers go clipper happy before, but I've heard nothing but great things. From the moment I walked in everyone was absolutely amazing and super welcoming. I decided to add play time as well as have them groomed and it was the best decision. I dropped them off around 9am and picked them up around 530pm. The price was amazing for what they provide, coming from California I was used to paying $350 for both dogs just to get groomed, It felt like a crime leaving paying what I did! It was no where close to that, I would have been completely okay with paying more! That's how happy I am with The Rovervelt. 1. The boys look great 2. grinch feet -gone 3.butts cleaned up 4. they are so soft 5. they smell AMAZING, and last but not least 6. they are soooo tired! They have been asleep (besides to eat dinner -but I wouldn't want to sleep through dinner, so I don't blame them) since we got home. They told me they loved playing and they couldn't get them out of pool haha. We plan on returning weekly for full day play, monthly for grooming, and boarding with we go out of town. I will tell everyone I know with dogs about how amazing they cared for my boys. Thank you so much Rovervelt for taking care of them! Plus pictures that were posted on the Facebook page shows me how happy Mav and Goose are with their experience.

Janette came over to our apartment to meet with us and Otis. During the meeting we were reassured - Janette is clearly an expert and cares deeply about the dogs she works with. After the first walk, Janette told us that Otis was nervous and struggled to stay with the pack or come when called. She suggested we do training walks, where she takes a smaller group of dogs out for a slightly higher price to focus on training. After only a month, Janette told us Otis was ready to graduate to normal walks. We noticed that Otis was more comfortable around other dogs and people, better behaved, and actually started to play at home.
