I used to get my boys groomed at petsmart back at home so I was worried on the day of when I hadn't heard anything about an appointment confirmation, but I texted and we were still good to go. When I arrived, she was still working with a few other clients so we waited for a bit but it was no problem. She was pretty quiet when I dropped them off but when I picked them up she opened up a bit and talked to me about my boys and other clients she has. I read great reviews about how she treats her pups and I saw that when I picked mine back up. They looked great, might I add!! I'm glad I found a place that grooms well AND cares about their clients. It's hard to find that sometimes and you don't want to be dropping your pups off just anywhere. She's got lots of award ribbons hung up that just proves she does a great job.

She assured me my dog didn't need anything to sleep, and by the time I picked my dog up they were so close! This is a review from when we sent her to Mary a few days before St. Patrick's day. I forgot to review her and plan to take my dog back for a trim soon! Our dog had a lot of mats from exploring forests & running away in another state (was in care of relatives & just got back) Mary shaved it all and bathed my baby all under 2.5 hours & gave me a call. The mats turned into a full pelt and I'm so happy that Mary was able to help my poor baby. I picked up a whole different looking dog but she was so happy & Mary even cut up fabric, giving my dog a very cute bandana to wear! I trust Mary & was extremely happy with the end results, she even gave me a small educational lecture (I wasn't offended, I understood & glad she did it shows how much she truly cares) She said my dog is welcome back anytime & she recommends calling a week before I want her in. I definitely recommend and can't wait for the next appointment! Katie did a good job with my dog and I like that they provide you a 'report card' after your grooming session. My dog is known to be a bit of a 'dancer' during grooming, but Katie did a good job despite my dog not being able to stand still for a long period of time. It was also convenient for them to invoice me since someone else was picking up my dog. Price wise, it is pretty price-y compared to other spots - I would say another $15-$25 compared to some of the other places I've taken my dog. They have a self-service wash which I have used before and it has come in handy.

When they got to my home, at first they were very nice, but once I started telling them my preferences on how I wanted their haircut to turn out, aka I didn't want them to try to de-matt my dogs with a comb, I just wanted it shaved/cut out so I didn't have to spend extra money (again, 3 dogs is expensive). The groomer wasn't okay with that, & literally got in the salon truck & LEFT. Without confirming why they were leaving!! It's so upsetting because we have been waiting to get them groomed at the mobile salon for longer than we wanted to, & then they treat their customers like that & LEAVE? I didn't have to give my cat and calming meds at all and he's so much better. In addition, James was very good about communicating when he would be able to arrive and how he views his job. He's also reasonably priced! In fact, I think James may be a cat whisperer since my cat has been so affectionate and calm since he was groomed! I am very surprised and pleased with how my skittish boy is doing after James' work. He'll be coming back to do my other cat as well!!
