Her style was approachable and informative. The dogs clearly enjoyed their time with her, too. When deciding on a program I did hesitate on the price, but overall found it competitive to other programs and justified by the support we received.

I really appreciate that this is a family-owned small business and not a large chain like a number of the other local doggy daycare/boarding facilities. They get to know all of the pups super well. They are really "blossomed" the past year and a half in terms of offering tons of fun theme days where you can get photos of your dog dressed up and participating in activities (bunny ear photos and Easter egg hunt for Easter!) They also post fun updates to social media and have tons of cameras so you can check in on your pup throughout the day if you choose. They have helped me out soooo many times including when I have been running late for the pick-up or reaching out for a late reservation or an add-on service. The ability to be able to have Nora get groomed, nails clipped, and her anal glands expressed all during a regular day at daycare is amazing and so convenient. When we moved just over a year ago, we literally made sure to keep in mind the distance between us and Wag 'n Woofs because bringing her elsewhere was not an option. I know she is well cared for and she gets the daily activity that she needs. I love that there are several choices for additional mental and physical stimulation. I receive a report card for each stay, letting me know how she does with each activity. I sent my puppy, Sookie, to the 8-week program when she was 8 months old. I had been referred by friends who had sent their dogs to Neuman in the past, and while I knew it was a great program, I still went back and forth on whether to send my own dog given she was becoming a pretty good puppy already. However, I ultimately decided to send her knowing they would train her the right way and set her up for long-term success. What I did not expect was how the team was able to take her from a good dog to a GREAT dog. She now walks very nicely on the leash, waits patiently before coming out of her kennel or going through doorways, goes to her "place" while we eat meals, and can sit/down + stay like a pro. In addition to all of that, my favorite part has been her incredible recall. We take nature walks several times a week where she's able to be off leash. When we see other people, dogs, or wildlife and I call her back to me, she responds every time. I often get comments about how well behaved she is, especially for a young dog! I am so grateful for the freedom this training has enabled for her (and me!) - Sookie is able to go many more places and do more things than I ever imagined. While maintaining her training does require a couple extra minutes every day to run through the commands, it has been fun and rewarding to work on it with her. I look forward to sending Sookie back for boarding and participation in some of the more advanced training programs. I will always trust Neuman with Sookie's care and training as they truly feel like always-on partners/advisors in raising a dog. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering the program.

Our daycare experience was great, minus some turf burns on his paws but our boarding experience was less than ideal. When we came back to pick him up, there was this "hot spot" under his chin/neck area. When I brought it up with the staff at pickup, they weren't even aware of it. The lack of attention to detail on my pup is concerning as you could tell it had been festering for a few days. I hate that I am now left with this uncertain and uneasy feeling about his care there. Major dog mom guilt :(

I have a high-energy, extroverted puppy that needs a midday power walk while my other dog is a shy senior who prefers short strolls. Somehow, Emma's figured out how to cater to both of their needs...simultaneously. My dogs adore Emma and look forward to seeing her every Tuesday and Thursday. Emma's also been a positive influence on my dogs -- they no longer bark/carry on when she arrives and are better walkers all around. I appreciate that Emma is so good with them, captures sweet photos on walks and (when necessary) goes through the hassle of getting them in/out of their winter gear.
