As previous reviewers have stated, the grooming department is a rip off and doesn't do a good job. I took my little 20 pound dog here and I told them he doesn't like his paws touched so feel free to use a cone or muzzle on him if he struggles. Their policy is that they don't do that. Well, okay, so why charge me full price for a bath and haircut, which includes nails and full hair trimming, to wind up ONLY giving him a bath and nothing else. I could have done that myself in my bathroom sink with such a little dog. read more

We love our local Petco. We drive 30 miles (easy mush in EO & EW) to see them bi- monthly for our necessary pet & aquarium needs. The staff is friendly & helpful & we have always been intrigued by the many interesting pet products offered. We will continue to enjoy buying these & enjoying them with our pets. read more

I've had dogs groomed my whole life. The pricing here is ridiculous!! $80+ for a medium size terrier mix whose hair wasn't even that grown out! Cut was OK but not great. Hair in paw pads a mess...barely even touched. Add on pricing is ridiculous....smoke and mirrors. When I asked about it they couldn't even explain it. Total ripoff! Don't do it!! read more

They were able to take our two dogs when our usual place was closed. They needed glands and nails. They got a bath too. Very nice people. They came out to pick up dogs and then brought them out when done. Did a great job! read more

I always do curbside pick-up with Petco in Kennewick/Richland, but moved to Walla Walla. This was my first interaction with this store. When I pulled up, there were 4 female employees, in their Petco uniforms, smoking in front of the store. They were about 20 ft from the entrance, however, they should have been behind the store, or around the corner where customers could not see them. Love our local Petco! The service I receive there is great! Very sincere employees:) Brady is the sales manager who really shines. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the entire store and its products. We buy our dog supplies, cat toys and fish here. Always stocked with what we need and price competitive. So happy to have one in our town!! read more

I am so disappointed, I waited two weeks for appointment for my Lab to get a bath at this location today and then to find out I'm not on the schedule and nothing was ever scheduled. I will not go to this location for grooming. This was very important to me and upsetting. I'm more upset that there was not even an Apology or to try and make it right. read more

We have been taking our dog here for 9 years for grooming, because they are one of the only shows in town. Following COVID closures, when I called to get an appointment, I was treated very rudely & offered no help. Basically was told "sorry you are out of luck!" Took our business to PetSmart, who took great care of our dog and had much better customer service! read more

Received an unbelievably rude run-around over the phone not by one but THREE different staff members today. I was made to feel as though my standard question about store credit was a terrible inconvenience and that I was supposed to automatically know that the dog groomer was not associated with the rest of the petco store. The last "customer service" employee I interacted with refused to give me the name of the dog trainer he himself insisted I call back and talk to; Blatantly refused and berated me for my name. I mean, just try a different approach guy...Tone and presentation go a long way in the service industry. In addition, I am being denied a refund of the dog training classes we are not able to take due to unfortunate instances. $100 down the drain. read more

Waited in the ONE line they had open while watching 3 employees eat sandwiches at the front entrance cash register. Manager was helpless too- she helped changed the receipt tape for the ONE cashier, looked at the line and the staff eating sandwiches and then walked away. No awareness to service at all. No customer service at all. Retail is dead. I walked out and decided I'd rather spend my money online or at an independent shop. read more

Love this store.. They didn't even have to beat Amazon on pricing because they were lower already... They only problem I had is the prices on adopting fees... It's the same price a 2 month old kitten as an older 3 year old cat... I think the older cats should be cheaper... read more

Aurora at petco bathed and trimmed our labradoodle and did a HORRIBLE job! I requested his whiskers, eyebrows and beard be trimmed and they were totally cut off! The top of his head was cut to the scalp and is very uneven! The dog looks like a spaniel instead of a labradoodle. Never again will we use any Petco, especially the one in walla walla. We should have known when there were dog groomer wanted posters on the door! read more

Staff have always been friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of items and prices are reasonable. Christina is a great trainer!

Took my puppy to Petsmart for classes and classes were cancelled. So took my pup here. Was told it was 6 classes 1 hour each. $300. Classes were shortened to 45 minutes each, due to Covid which is a joke. First class went well enough. Second class the trainer was 20 minutes late with no reason as to why. Third one was canceled after I arrived, claimed to be store emergency. One I went to today she booked another person and their full grown dog at the same time. My puppy is very timid with adult dogs, not to mention I paid for private lessons not group lessons. The trainer then proceeded to instruct me to go down isles with my dog practicing commands while she worked with the other dog. My puppy litterally got 5 minutes worth of her supposed to be 1 hour training class. So now I am out a huge amount of money. At least it didn't cost me anything at Petsmart. Anyone looking to train their dog, do yourself a favor and watch You Tube training videos. Free....and your dog will probably learn more. read more
