It does get a little busy at times, but the lines move quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Grateful to have Wilson's in our community.

We walked into a space that…read morefeels like a full farm market experience, with fresh produce, bakery items, specialty foods, flowers, seasonal displays, and locally sourced products all in one place. The layout is thoughtfully arranged, and the focus is clearly on quality and presentation, making it easy to spend time browsing rather than rushing through a standard grocery run. The fresh produce is the main reason we would visit. The selection changes with the seasons, and there is always something that stands out, whether it is fruit, vegetables, or specialty items. The produce section is one of the biggest highlights, with everything arranged beautifully and a wide variety that makes shopping here feel more intentional. The bakery section is another area worth checking out, especially for breads and pastries. Items like the olive sourdough bread and seasonal baked goods are the type of things that make Wilson Farm feel more like a destination rather than just a place to buy groceries. Beyond produce, the variety is what makes the experience memorable. There are sections for meats, seafood, prepared foods, desserts, flowers, and pantry items, so it is easy to put together a full shopping trip without needing to go elsewhere. The seasonal events are also a big part of the atmosphere, especially in the fall when the pumpkin displays and decorations transform the outside of the farm into something that feels like an autumn destination. The staff were friendly and helpful during our visit, which adds to the overall experience, and the store can get busy during peak seasons, especially around fall events and weekends, so parking and navigating through the crowds may take extra patience. Prices are generally higher than a standard grocery store, but the quality and selection are what make the visit worthwhile. Wilson Farm is one of those places where grocery shopping becomes an experience. The combination of fresh food, bakery items, seasonal atmosphere, and the farm setting makes it stand out. It is a place we would visit not only for groceries but also when we want to explore and pick up something special.

Most underwhelming experience I've had at an apple orchard. I came here on a weekend in early…read moreNovember because they were offering half-price apple picking. I got a small bag for $12.50 which was a great deal. I had no problem with parking. I got a good amount of apples, although I wish the signs for the types of apples were clearer. The main reason my rating isn't higher is due to the policing near the exit. I've been through security at concert venues that were less scrutinizing. When I was leaving, an employee was near the entrance was inspecting the wagon of a family with multiple bags. I didn't hear the entire conversation but I did hear the employee lecturing them about not overfilling the bags. The employee also said to not reuse the bags (something that could be prevented if they wrote the dates on the bags as other orchards do) and understandably the family said they wouldn't come back. Even though I wasn't the target of the apple police, it created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The best part of my visit was the cider donuts. The farm store was disappointingly small with mainly apples and cider available for purchase. Considering the plethora of options for apple picking in MA, I don't plan to return here.

Lovely experience Apple picking at Honey Pot Hill Orchards this last week…read more Service was great all around despite over an hour wait for the cider donuts (which were most definitely worth the wait). Apples were extremely tasty with great variety and plenty of ladders for picking. My only fret was that the signage at times was not the most clear. And the best part: the ambiance of it all. Perfect cool day in Mass with all the Fall colors and families having a great time... it was such a positive atmosphere. Would totally go again.

Went with my husband and 10month old to pick some asian pears and honeycrisps. There was organized and ample parking. The main paths have large gravel rocks that were loose and uneven and a grass strip in the middle. It was a bit hard to push through even with our stroller with large wheels. The tractors that occasioned through blew the dust up around the paths too. There were plenty of porta potties and I also liked they have a hand washing station too. We didn't try any of the food trucks but appreciated the option. Farm stand was small, there were some picnic tables but could have been more (potentially near the food trucks) There were some chicks, bunnies, a goat, and donkey? to look at. The kids play area has a 2-5 & 5-12 play structures and water play but they were very close together, not much room to run around between the structures.

From what I could tell, there are larger orchards in the area but Shelburne seemed to have everything you need - a food truck (with an excellent burger and pulled pork sandwich), a hard cider place, the aforementioned apple cider donuts, and a little general store selling jams and whatnot. At first glance, there didn't appear to be a ton of seating but if you walk a bit further up the hill, past the grassy patch, there's a good amount of benches and tables. Apple cider donuts review: 4/5? Not as fresh or as warm as I've sampled at other orchards but these had a healthy dusting of cinnamon sugar and a great chew. Downing two of these bad boys was not a great decision for the ride back (plus I had a cheeseburger). Cheeseburger: 4.5/5. Just a bun, patty, cheese, ketchup but listen, this was one of the best cheeseburgers I've had in a while. The bun was perfectly buttered and toasted and there was just the right ratio of meat to bread to condiments. I felt really, really food-drugged after eating this and the donuts. All the burger needed was some pickles. The only thing I didn't love about the layout is the area with the food truck had only three or four tables (no chairs) and faced the row of Porta Potties but I get that space is at a premium. There was also a sizable hill to get from the food truck to the area with tables/benches/donuts, which made walking in cycling shoes an enormous pain, though that's a me-problem.
