When we arrived though, we found out that the farm is usually closed during the summer (unless you email the owner in advance) and that their website is the only reliable site to see the hours! Luckily, the owner was around and super nice and gave us a tour anyway! There were goats, a mini horse, a mini donkey, and an alpaca herd worthy of the trek we took! All the animals were really friendly, and the owner was incredibly informative. The highlight was probably an extra cuddly mini donkey that ran to my boyfriend and insisted on being pet! Overall - it was a fun adventure and I highly recommend it! I'm sure it's even better once the weather is cooler!

Alpacas shearing happened already (spring) so if you want to see them with full fur, staff told us to return in Nov. They are still cute :) Tour runs 45 mins long and we get to feed and pet them. I am so bad with names but I know one is called Summer. Two pregnant mamas and one baby on the ranch! On the way out, please put a donation in the jar or make a purchase at the store. Plenty of cute socks, sweater, etc. Please note that you will smell alpaca spit (or musty odor) when you enter the shop/ranch and even after you depart. Don't wear fancy clothes.

We pulled in gravel parking lot so not always ideal for strollers but what is now a days haha! We walked in saw ducks, goats, peacocks, rabbit, horses, donkey, alpca, sheep! The last time I was here was in…read morethe early 1990's (wow) when the Werme family owned the apple orchard and buying apples was on the 'honor system'. They had a stand with a money box and you took your apples and put your money in the box. Unfortunately, I only stopped once because the apples were very soft and we ended up throwing them away. The new owners have done a lovely job with the orchard and have classes there as well as summer concerts. They have a cute gift shop with seasonal fruit, meat and handmade gifts from local artisans. Stop by, they have something for everyone!
