I hate writing this review but I feel it needs to be written…read more First the positive. The office is nice and welcoming. The people are really nice! I was a new patient and they got me in same day. The Dr was very friendly and asked me how I prefer to be adjusted and what I don't like which was nice. Why am I giving 2 stars? The Dr was very nice but seemed rushed. We didn't really talk about my issues and I got a VERY basic adjustment. It took about 5 minutes then he put electrodes on my back and left the room to see the next patient. After a while he came back in, took them off then said I was good to go. Then off to see next patient. As a 'new patient' they charged me $75 when regular patients only pay $45. Because of that, as a new patient, I expected something more. There wasn't anything more than anyone else that came in. In my total of about 20 minutes being there (sitting in waiting room, adjustment and electrodes), he probably saw 5-7 patients. My regular chiro (and the one before him where I used to live), puts the electrodes on or does other treatments first to relax my muscles before adjusting, which makes more sense. And then he actually sits with me for a few minutes to discuss what is going on. He really listens. His adjustment is a lot more thorough. Then he asks me to get up and walk around to see how I feel. He measures my legs to make sure I'm even. He takes the time to make sure I'm good before I leave. When I'm done, I feel great. Bottom line, I came into the office in a lot of pain with a lot going on. I paid $75 and the day after I'm still in pain and don't feel much different. Really disappointed

However, he spent time making sure my problems areas my neck, basically my entire spinal cord and hips were adjusted to his satisfaction. Then, Dr. Butch used a bit of electric stimulation. When I left, it was the first time I had walked and felt no pain in my hips in years. My neck and shoulders felt like the world had been lifted off of them. That takes a lot. The right side of my neck started to pop for the first time in years as well. I'm going to need an adjustment twice a week instead of once a week, if this keeps up.

My husbands elbow was bothering him so he told the doctors and they adjusted it! No more pain. He has planter fasciitis, so in addition to back, neck, and hip adjustments, they also adjust his feet at every visit and it helps! If he misses an appointment, his body lets him know. I had severe pelvic and hip pain during pregnancy. I started chiropractic care at 28 weeks and was able to function the rest of pregnancy. Additionally, I had an extremely fast (5 hours) labor which I attest to chiropractic adjustments helping my body and baby line up properly. I started taking my baby at 1 week old for slight torticollis and difficulty latching while breastfeeding. It helped soo much! Adjustments for babies are almost like massages some their bones are only cartilage at this early age. Chiropractic care in babies can help drain fluid from ear infections, help colicky babies, gassy babies, everything! We are full believers in Southside. Highly recommend if you want personalized care. The staff is insanely friendly and knowledgeable. All of the doctors are great. Give them a try.
