We recently changed from another local dentist reluctantly after changes with our insurance. We…read morechose Snodgrass & King after hearing positive feedback from other family receiving dental care there. Staff is very friendly and engaging with the child and parent. I really like how they allowed my son to see how well he had been brushing by the "blue toothpaste". I had been looking for the antiquated disclosing tabs that I grew up using. They have the game room for older children and a play area for younger children. The games have definitely played roughly by some kids through the years but still worked enough for the kids to enjoy for the brief waiting time (5-15 minutes). They also shared about options to help my youngest son to his stop thumb sucking which may prevent the need for braces later in life. Very pleased with this first visit especially after have been with another provider for nearly 7 years. Change can be hard but the experience here made it a little easier. Update 7/26/2018 Changed from 4 star to 5 Star: Both kids (7 y/o and 3 y/o) had appointments together. I was to sit in a spot to have sight of both of them since the younger opted for the individual room. Speedy, efficient service--in and out within 30 minutes for cleanings. When establishing next appointments, I mentioned that my oldest doesn't like to miss school so we might have to split them up. The hygienist offered to check the school schedule to see when they would be out of school. Amazing!! Very pleased customer!!

The first thing I noticed about was how friendly they were on the phone. When I arrived early in the morning, the three women behind the desk were already having a Jovial conversation about the possibility of a therapy animal in the office. They texted the paperwork to me. When I was done, I had my teeth examined and cleaned. It was a prompt and relaxed visit. I am going next week for a consultation for some cosmetic dentistry. It feels good to be around people who are happy where they work.

This was the night before my appointment and Blackman Grove. It was just me at home, living in the middle of nowhere, with a dead car battery and no way to jump it. I called to get the appointment rescheduled, but was told it'd be $75 to do so. Fine. Thanks, daughter. I get it. 2. Finally get a new bridge (not sure if that was what the other appointment was for, but man, it was expensive, even with insurance.) However...a hygenist puts the bridge on and shapes it way too short. The dentist didn't even do anything. I was told she doesn't like doing those or fillings. I was also told that if I didn't like it, they could send it to a lab, but it'd cost MORE. Now, that side of my smile...the teeth are way shorter than the other side.‍ To my main point and complaint: found a new dentist where I'm located. They did X-rays and told me that all of my crowns from Blackman Grove are garbage. You can see them in the X-rays...they're not even cemented down well. I paid thousands...THOUSANDS...and now need to get them redone because my mouth aches. I loved this dentist...BEFORE they hired new people and completely redid the place (and started adding Botox to their services.)

Originally I thought the reviews of this office reflected it's current state, however, the reviews…read moreare years old and do not accurately describe this office today. I dont like to write reviews like this but I am so floored about my interaction with this office I feel I need to warn other moms. I have 3 children that I have taken to be seen here... 2 of them had dental procedures and 1 had just cleanings. The care my youngest daughter received was traumatic to say the least. 2 different procedures and they both ended with infections and we had to seek emergency treatment elsewhere. My daughter had to have a spacer put in due to a tooth being pulled early (not from this office) and weeks after the metal spacer was put in, her gums were inflamed and bleeding. I brought her back to ask if maybe the spacer was put too far into her gums and I was told by the dentist no, she needed to brush better. 2 weeks after that we had to bring her back in and I had to insist that the spacer be removed because you could no longer see it due to her gums being so swollen. The Dr offered no apology, but instead seemed insulted that was pushing for the removal of the spacer. The second issue with my same 6 year old daughter was a filling that was done in their office. They suggested a metal crown should be used to prevent further cavities which we agreed. However, the original cavity was not fully removed before the crown was put on and a few months later my daughter was crying from pain when she was eating and saying there was liquid coming out of her tooth when she chewed... I took her to another office for an evaluation and she had an infection in her tooth so bad that they had to pull it because the cavity had rotted her tooth under the crown!! After all of this, the billing department ran the wrong insurance (an old card on file) and when I asked if they could please submit using the new plan, they said they would, but I could never get anyone to follow back up with me to let me know it was completed. My new plan had better coverage. I then received notices (via text only from a robo number) saying that I had an outstanding balance after I paid over $700 for one appointment for ONE child (WITH INSURANCE)... I called the office to ask what the outstanding balance was and was told it was $46,which I paid. Then a week later I get a notice from debt collection for a balance over $250!! I have NEVER paid so much for dental work for my kids WITH insurance in my life. When I called to ask the office about this charge, (from almost a year ago) the woman in billing was incredibly rude and condescending. As I was finishing my questions she literally talked over me for so long that I had to yell "excuse me!" so I could get my question out. She was very defensive and agressive with me and I can assure you I was not putting her in a position of defense. I was calmly asking for clarification on my balance. The only saving grace of this office is the sweet dental tech who takes the kids X-rays. She is amazing and I loved her. Bottom line - the treatment seemed good, but that proved false as time went on and everyone of authority in this office seems to have a problem being questioned by the very people they are supposed to be serving. I wish I never stepped foot in this office.

We just moved to the are and my three children had their first cleaning appointments yesterday. I'm…read moreso glad we found this office! Not the fault of the dentist at all, it was just a natural reaction, so we looked for a pediatric dentist & so happy to find Dr. Bryan. This place is welcoming and the Dr really tries to get to know your family and talks to your child before even going to the dental chair. Does a great job of trying to build rapport with a child. Also provides great info to support your child's dental health. Then it was time for the cleaning. Needless to say ours cried and dad had to hold him, but Dr. Bryan was swift and it was done efficiently and quickly. He cleaned our child's teeth (despite the yelling and tears) and took care of any teeth issues! Our little one (once it the car) said Dr. Bryan was nice and it didn't hurt. Dr. Bryan and his staff really knows how to support and work in these challenging situations. The office is clean and welcoming as well for families.

I decided to try a pediatric dentist and found Dr. Wah online. Before every visit, he sits and talks to the children, asks about life, engages them in a fun conversation to ease their minds. He treats and does everything necessary, nothing more and explains and informs you throughout the process. Talking with him, you will know he is a wealth of knowledge. And you know that when you leave, you have a dentist you can trust and one who sincerely cares about their oral health. Now if I could find an adult dentist as good. :)
