This was the night before my appointment and Blackman Grove. It was just me at home, living in the middle of nowhere, with a dead car battery and no way to jump it. Finally get a new bridge (not sure if that was what the other appointment was for, but man, it was expensive, even with insurance.) However...a hygenist puts the bridge on and shapes it way too short. The dentist didn't even do anything. I was told she doesn't like doing those or fillings. I was also told that if I didn't like it, they could send it to a lab, but it'd cost MORE. Now, that side of my smile...the teeth are way shorter than the other side.‍ To my main point and complaint: found a new dentist where I'm located. They did X-rays and told me that all of my crowns from Blackman Grove are garbage. You can see them in the X-rays...they're not even cemented down well. I paid thousands...THOUSANDS...and now need to get them redone because my mouth aches. It is my personal opinion and belief that Dr. Boyter and his team are by far the best in dental industry in this area. I have visited with several dentist since my move here to attend college in 2001. He said it's a matter of opinion. My opinion, we are not doing it! Then he said my daughter has 6 cavities, after I got home I got to thinking, my daughter's teeth were all sealed, how was that possible. I had my daughter's X-ray sent to her former dentist from out of town, we drove back for a 2nd opinion. NO CAVITIES FOUND. I spoke to my own dentist and he said it's not likely to happen. We drove back again to her former dentist to have her teeth cleaned a couple months ago, no cavities. ALL GOOD. We are new in town, Dr. Flipse put a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended.
