I originally purchased my precious boy Drogon (previously Duke) in October of 2018. Yesterday, my…read moredog passed away, at the young age of 3 years and 9 months, in his sleep due to Chronic Kidney Disease. The issues first started only 3 months after purchasing him from the Longs. He suffered multiple UTIs, incontinence, inappetence, and low energy before I found out the cause. After multiple diagnostic tests including an ultrasound, I was informed that he was born with deformed kidneys. Both kidneys were misshapen and smaller than they should be. Ultimately, at 15 months he presented with Stage 2 Renal Failure (based off his numbers), and was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. I informed the Longs of this to let them know that the litter may have issues (as the Vet said it was congenital defect), and to prevent this tragedy from happening to anyone else. After telling me it was too late for a refund (which I never asked for) they told me they would look into it and find the cause. I called them back to determine the results of their findings, and they just said it wasn't an issue on their end. I informed them of the ultrasound results, and I never heard from them again. It's impossible for it to be anything else, as a puppy that young would have had to been born with the disease. My dog fought for his life for 3 1/2 beautiful years. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, I pray no other dog owners have to suffer through the difficulty of caring for a chronically ill pet. I believe there must be negligent breeding practices occurring for my dog to come to me so ill of health. I had no warning, and there was never any accountability taken.

Greenmoore is a first class rescue with loving professional staff and dedicated volunteers. I will get my next rescue from there as well to keep scout company at home.

We told him our Silas (that's his name) is a lot stubborn. Bob told us his 20 years of working with dogs and he will be fine. Bob put the leash on Silas and he did not want to go out the front door. Bob literally dragged him out the door. Then Bob dragged him across the front lawn and before I had a chance to tell Bob to stop Silas was already in the camper Bob used for his service. Silas was in the mobile camper for about 90 minutes. Then on the front house camera I see Silas pulling Bob up the lawn so he can get away from this guy. Meet Bob at the front door and our Silas was bleeding on his left dew claw, Bob began to lie to us saying the dew claw was wrapped into his pad. This is not true because our neighbor cuts all our boy's nails. At this time my wife is crying her eyes out, she called our neighbor as he has always helped us in the past. Buy this time I'm ready to just grab Bob an toss him out. Silas was heavy panting and any dog owners would know he was under a great deal of stress. I gave Bob his $200.00 as this is what we agreed on and asked him nicely to just leave. My Silas has not been the same, this all happened on 5/15/2023. I just try and let Silas know this will never happen to him again. We have text Stephanie for our receipt as Bob never gave us one. She has not responded. Now today I noticed Silas left eye top area all blood shot. All this tells me is Bob doesn't know how to handle animals. Painting a picture for you all, Bob came not dressed for the job he wants, the white camper looked all beaten up on the outside with no advertising on the sides. I will say people do your homework when dealing with something like this. Rest assured I will be telling everyone who will listen about this horrible experience. I will be putting a complaint to the better business bureau and to see if he is licensed in the State of Delaware. I would not let this guy and his company clean a stuff animal.
