When I picked him up, his snout was visibly swollen and had a raw spot. No one told me -- I discovered it myself and documented it in photos. That night, I was told "I think he banged it on the kennel." The next day, the groomer changed her story, hesitated when asked if she saw it, then claimed she did -- and still hadn't told me at pickup. I asked for the owner to call me last Friday. Today is Thursday -- still no call. No accountability. No concern. No care. This isn't just about one groomer -- it's about an owner who doesn't take responsibility for injuries or for following health-related instructions. My photos show his injury right after pickup and his normal appearance one day later -- proof it happened in their care. Take your dogs here at your own risk.

Would rate this place -10000…read more We have a 245 pound Great pyrenees, he does not like being clean so we reach out to Bob and he assured us he specializes in big dogs. He was 45 minutes late. We told him our Silas (that's his name) is a lot stubborn. Bob told us his 20 years of working with dogs and he will be fine. Bob put the leash on Silas and he did not want to go out the front door. Bob literally dragged him out the door. Then Bob dragged him across the front lawn and before I had a chance to tell Bob to stop Silas was already in the camper Bob used for his service. Silas was in the mobile camper for about 90 minutes. Then on the front house camera I see Silas pulling Bob up the lawn so he can get away from this guy. Meet Bob at the front door and our Silas was bleeding on his left dew claw, Bob began to lie to us saying the dew claw was wrapped into his pad. This is not true because our neighbor cuts all our boy's nails. At this time my wife is crying her eyes out, she called our neighbor as he has always helped us in the past. Buy this time I'm ready to just grab Bob an toss him out. Silas was heavy panting and any dog owners would know he was under a great deal of stress. I gave Bob his $200.00 as this is what we agreed on and asked him nicely to just leave. My Silas has not been the same, this all happened on 5/15/2023. I just try and let Silas know this will never happen to him again. We have text Stephanie for our receipt as Bob never gave us one. She has not responded. Now today I noticed Silas left eye top area all blood shot. All this tells me is Bob doesn't know how to handle animals. Painting a picture for you all, Bob came not dressed for the job he wants, the white camper looked all beaten up on the outside with no advertising on the sides. I will say people do your homework when dealing with something like this. Rest assured I will be telling everyone who will listen about this horrible experience. I will be putting a complaint to the better business bureau and to see if he is licensed in the State of Delaware. I would not let this guy and his company clean a stuff animal. They keep increasing their per night boarding costs and I get it , things cost more, but they don't let any one know when they do it! They're FB price says $28, I signed for $32 a night and then they charge me $38 a night again, refusing to honor to original price I signed for. Any reputable business would eat their mistake and charge the customer the lower price. Our dog also got an ear infection from the last time she had a bath here, with a vet bill to prove it. We'll find somewhere else to take our lab from now on. Do not take your dog here.

He walked right in on his first visit & has been comfortable/happy at each appointment ever since and for most visits they have done an excellent job. With the hot weather recently, the last grooming they cut his curly fur much shorter than I expected & several people laughed when they saw him. But haven't found a better groomer so will keep taking him to Muddy Paws...after all, fur grows back.
