Beyond having a professional, friendly staff and an immaculate office, Dr. Halabi is just an obviously kind person. Being at his office feels a lot like walking into your cousin's house during Thanksgiving--everyone's super friendly (but professional) and you immediately feel welcomed each time. When wait times occurred, they were extremely minimal, and Dr. Halabi always made himself available to answer any questions I had about the process. I never told him that I have a low-key fear of dentists and orthodontists because it just never came up! I always felt like I was in good hands with the doctor and every tech. I have been denied access to my digital STL scans at this clinic since December 2025. They claimed my last scan was taken three months prior to completion and is "inaccurate," yet they successfully fabricated a final retainer for me at the end of treatment--which is impossible without an accurate final scan. This appears to be a misleading tactic to force me into a new office visit and a $500 fee for a new scan and retainer. Withholding records to coerce a sale is a violation of HIPAA (45 CFR § 164.524) and NY Law. I have officially filed a federal complaint (Case #683173) and a report with the NY State Board of Professional Discipline. I will update this review only once my legally-entitled records are released. I strongly advise others to be aware of these gatekeeping tactics before starting treatment here.
