During my X-rays, once I found out I'd need the root canal, I explained to the dentist that I know from experience I need prescription pain medicine after root canals, as I have other health conditions that increase inflammation and pain. When I've gone without in the past, I've been in the most pain I've ever experienced for days on end. It was torture. I made it clear that I would not have a root canal without it due to how traumatizing it was and how much work I had to miss. She agreed and scheduled the procedure. After the root canal was complete, I reminded her of our conversation. She cited a study that said for most patients, Advil and Tylenol was fine, so she would not write a prescription. My face was too numb to even have a conversation about it. I feel deceived and lied to. I don't feel like my specific needs as a patient were cared about at all, and this is just a money grab. I'm so scared for how this recovery will go knowing what I've experienced. I couldn't have explained this any clearer to the entire staff. I want to trust dentists with my care so badly, and this damaged it. I will never be going back to this practice after this and I recommend others avoid it as well.

Then you show up and she makes you feel like you shouldn'tbe there like your some chump wasting her time even though its her responsibility. the last time i saw her i told her the upper dentures dont fit/work right she said well i guess you should have gotten some upper implants. This is after i paid twenty thousand to have my theeth pulled (twelve teeth at once) paid 10,000 thousand for that and another 10,000 for two dental implants for my lower teeth. So let me tell you i guess if your really rich you'll get the service you deserve deserve but if your just some person trying to do the right for yourself this is how you get treated. Then I had to find another dentist to fix my dentures just so i could swallow with them in my mouth (had to pay that dentist for doing the work Dena Marcus Should've done and anytime i had a problem and called to see her she was never there/available (not offered to see another dentist usually when a dentist is on vacation they have a fill in dentist (but not her). now in october i get a thing in the mail basically saying well if you have any problems you can come and see me if you have dental insurance or more money. glad I could Pay in advance for the worst experience Iv'e ever had. After reviewing the bill, I contacted my insurance, who confirmed the deep cleanings performed were not medically necessary based on my x-rays. I was never informed of this before the procedures were done. The front desk is a broader issue. The team is cliquey, unresponsive, and consistently unprofessional. Billing communication in particular is anti-customer at every step: no proactive outreach, no transparency, and when they do reach out, it's an immediate collections threat with no context. I've filed complaints with the California Dental Board and the California Department of Insurance and have ended my relationship with this practice.

Dr. Bradd is a fine dentist but he is out-of-network with ALL insurance companies. So not only do…read moreyou have pay the deductible plus what the insurancerance reimburses him, he bills for the remainder of the service. We had a service done which cost $1,900 by Dr. Bradd. If we went to an in-network, we would have paid a total of $200. our insurance company paid him $920 and we paid $450 at the time of service. Now I receive a bill for the remainder of $605. The issue is that 5 years ago it was communicated that Dr. Bradd would accept our co-pay and the insurance reimbursement for the services which was the case for 4 years until now. We go twice a year for check-ups and Met-Life pay him 100% of the service he charges and no co-pay. We like Bradd but I've found an extremely capable dentist in-network so going forward we will save thousands of dollars.

I took the star off for one sort of petty reason I fully admit as someone who makes their living from music With the previous practice I actually commented about how amazed I was at the music selection. One day I specifically remember hearing Hawaiian music the whole time. The next time I would go in and hear jazz. Next time I would go in and it would be something totally different. To the point that I actually commented on it and they told me that someone different would pick the music for the whole day every day on rotation and that was awesome. Now, admittedly, I am not a fan of the same soul crushing modern rock hits that were wonderful the first 3500 times I heard them but basically never need to hear again. And granted you don't choose your dentist for the music they play in the background so not that big of a deal but admittedly it was noticeable. It's not that those are not great songs. It's not that I didn't absolutely love those songs at one point. I just basically got to a point that I don't need to hear them anymore. The staff told me that all of their chairs were taken making money doing teeth cleaning and that they couldn't be bothered with having me come in and address this very serious issue. My other dentist of 25 years where we moved from I called them at 7 o'clock in the morning and have I been even within 500 miles with them I would have gone there.
