It took numerous calls to the state of CO to get everything resolved but she knew exactly what to say and what to do to get everything resolved with them. They completed the forms and told me to mail them to the IRS. I did so only to find out later that that will take nearly a year to receive the refund. Well, here it is, 2024...2 years later and the estate is no closer to receiving the refund than it was in March of 2022. After numerous communications with the IRS, we recently learned that the Social Security number that the Williams & Kunkle CPA used was incorrect. At this point, there seems to be little chance of resolving all of the problems this mistake has caused. Needless to say, I made a major mistake involving this firm in settling my sister's estate taxes.

When I called the second time, I was already a little frustrated by no one returning my call, so being interrogated by the person who took my second call and then being asked to disclose privileged personal information was also annoying. Then I found out I would have to wait another week to find out more about your company. This entire interaction could have gone very differently had you or Beth been available to talk at any point on the day I called or the next. Instead of letting me know it would be another week before I could speak to anyone to find out more about your company.
