Removed the old unit and installed the new, without issue. Hauled away the old appliance and kept the work area very clean. Purchased a gas stove through Home Depot. Home Depot delivers the unit and outsources the installation to chumps like this "company". Installer called me and said they would install if it was delivered by 2pm, which was one hour before the end of the 3pm delivery window. Luckily, it was delivered just before 1pm but when I contacted the installer, he could not install because he "is out of the area", even though it was delivered an hour before his 2pm deadline. He said I had to wait another two days for my install. I expressed my disappointment via text because they wouldn't take my calls and the installer responded with crying emojis. Super unprofessional. I contacted Home Depot and this is the ONLY company that they use to install gas stoves and I am out of luck. TLDR: DO NOT BUY A STOVE FROM HOME DEPOT IN THE SOUTHERN NH AREA. You will be forced to use this "professional" service and probably ghosted by them. read more

Zero stars, and more to the point fraudulent. We had Peter come to our home to fix a refrigerator and he said we needed a new cooling pump. We paid for half the total cost and were told he would be back in about a week after the part came in. I called after a week and the lady on the phone said she would check on the parts status. Another weeks goes by with no contact. I called again repeatedly but no one would answer. I had my husband call using his different phone # and the lady said she couldn't refund our $200 and she would find out if the part came in and speak to Peter. We don't expect to hear back but will be filing a police report for theft, and contacting the BBB. Lesson learned, don't ever use Venmo, and pay after all the work has been done. read more

I have never posted a yelp review until now. I had a gas stove delivered on Friday, Peters Appliance said he was having vehicle issues and could not make it for the install yesterday. So there goes one day off of work for me. Now it's 3:30 in the afternoon on Sat and I have been sitting home all day, left Home Depot a message, spoke to Home Depot store managers, 2 of them now due to a shift change. Am I expected to sit home all day waiting for a phone call to tell me when they may be able to do an install of my gas stove that is in my living room? If I don't hear from someone today do I take another vacation day Monday hoping I will get a call? I'm driving to Home Depot now to tell them if the install is not scheduled for Monday then I will be dropping the stove at their front door. All I wanted was a phone call to tell me when the install is happening. Pathetic just absolutely pathetic. Never again and every outlet on social media will see this as well. Peters Appliances installed my new washer and dryer two weeks ago. They arrived at the time indicated and even called to let me know they were on the way. Removed the old appliances and gave me time to vacuum and quickly wash the area before they installed the new appliances. They ran the appliances through a cycle prior to leaving. If you want the extra satisfaction of not being able to leave them a voicemail because they obviously don't ever check them (this voice message box is full...), definitely use this outfit. We had a most positive experience today from the installer from Peter's Appliance, when Tim installed a new dishwasher purchased at Lowes last week. It was so evident he was skilled in the task and could not have been more efficient. I am not sure it could have gone more smoothly. I had read some negative reviews here and had been concerned but Peters Appliance is the installer of note for Lowe's. The only reason I did not give this a fifth star was the concern we had for the wait in hearing from Peters about an install date. Even Lowe's customer Service followed up twice. Not sure what the issue was. But once we had a date and time, it occurred as scheduled. Our installer Tim does deserve that 5th star, and I hope the delayed contact from the scheduling process gets resolved for the future. read more

This company should stop wasting customers time and go out of business I had an appointment scheduled through a third party warranty company and they did not even contact me once. I now have been put in the position of having to cancel the warranty and hence the problem that Peters was supposed to look at is now considered "pre-existing" to a new warranty company and will not be covered. So, if you want someone to cost you several hundred dollars by not bothering to call or show up, then by all means schedule an appointment with these people, who apparently do not live by the golden rule and must do this as a hobby. They should not accept contract work if they have no intention of doing it. All of my incoming calls are logged and they therefore cannot say that they tried to call. They are supposed to call to schedule repair within 24 hours and it has been 4 days....this is a long time when they still have to come out, diagnose, order parts and then fix it. In sum, they don't live up to written contractual performance requirements. It is that simple. read more

Home Depot contractor who does not provide any installation time estimates. My dishwasher was delivered as would expected, but I was strongly encouraged to accept delivery, even though the installer would not respond to my calls. Only told the delivery people he would call me. If delivery is accepted, even if he doesn't show up, your ability to return the item becomes much more difficult. I refused delivery, returned the dishwasher and bought it elsewhere. The installer called about 2 hours after the attempted delivery and said he had been trying to reach me. My phone indicated this was within ten minutes of returning the unit to Home Depot. Why Home Depot hires an installer who treats customers as their personal help is beyond me. I should be grateful. I saved over $120 at Home Depot's competitiors. Hope Peters is worth the lost business. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Peters are the installers for the dishwasher I bought from Home Depot. The dishwasher was delivered; however, after several days of not hearing a word from an installer, I called Home Depot to find out that Peters Appliance Service is the installer. When I called Peters, the person who answered was incredibly rude and wouldn't even take my name to try to schedule the install. I called the manager at Rochester Home Depot, he said that Peters will not schedule an appointment through Home Depot and that it is up to the customer to call the installer. This is not at all what I was told when I paid to have it installed...Home Depot said they would call me. So I called Peters again, same guy just pushing me off the phone without any info. I told Home Depot to come pick up their dishwasher and refund me in full. I'm now going to follow up with the HD district office to let them know of Peters incredibly poor service to try to save other people from their uselessness in the future. read more

Bought a dishwasher from home depot. Home Depot delivered it on a Saturday and Pete's came an hour after same day to install. The man was rude and slamming around the old and new dishwasher to the point I had to walk out of the room before I was rude. The man stated when he saw the new dishwasher how he HATED to install Samsung dishwasher and what a shit job it was to do. He spent the next hour banging and slamming things around and finally done installing. Everything appeared fine but I didnt use it until a week later. Welllllll everything is NOT fine and the dishwasher is completely broken and unrepairable. When a different company came out to see why it was leaking pools of water on my kitchen floor after only two weeks old they found cracks everywhere in the tub and the front leg broken off and jacked up with a piece of wood. When I called to inform Peter of the issues just to let him know his worker was less than skilled he instantly says that's not my worker he couldn't have done that.... well if he didn't break the leg off than why wouldn't he have told us the situations stead of saying nothing and putting wood under it. Now I'm out a brand new dishwasher fighting for it to be replaced bc of this companies rough handling and negligence. read more

Long story short...his employee showed up, I had left the house, and his employee drove for 45 minutes and then waited for 15...but when we figured out how the miscommunication was happening, Peters said don't worry, my guy will be there.
