had a very disappointing experience at Petite Nail Salon with the nail technician, Helen. When I initially chose a sheer pink nail color, Helen was rude while explaining my color options. The next day, I decided I wanted to change the color and returned to the salon. While she was repainting my nails, she called over a coworker and began speaking in another language. It was obvious they were discussing my nails, and even the coworker appeared uncomfortable with the situation. It made me feel singled out and disrespected. To make matters worse, I was charged for the nail polish reapplication, even though I had just had the service done the day before. As I was leaving, Helen held the door open for a previous customer, but when I walked out just moments later, she did not extend the same courtesy to me. While this may seem like a small gesture, after the rest of my experience, it added to the feeling that I was being treated differently. In addition to the customer service issues, the salon itself could benefit from a more thorough cleaning and better overall maintenance. I believe the staff would also benefit from additional customer service training to ensure every client is treated with respect and professionalism. read more

I've gotten 2 pedicures from Nancy & she does a great job. She's gentle, doesn't go digging to much into your cuticle & is very sweet. Price is reasonable also - I get the $40 pedicure & add gel polish. With gel it's then $55. Parking is a little dicey. read more

I go to this nail salon frequently, it has great workers, they are understanding and have great customer service. The design I wanted was exactly what I had showed the lady who did my nails. The vibe from the place was cozy and nice. The salon smells great like a bouquet of flowers. If theirs one salon I would recommend it's this one! read more

I started coming here after searching for a new nail tech for 2 yrs. I like my nail tech; however the owner has messed up my appointment twice now and never apologizes. I show up for a 5 o'clock appt and was told it's 5:30 ok I'll go eat no biggie. I agree to come back at 5:30 I get there at 5:36 and she had just taken a new manicure client. I waited another 30 mins. I'm sorry from the owner would've been nice and perhaps a 10% discount something! Nails turned out nice though. read more

I've been a regular nail client for 3 years at The Petite Nail Spa on SR 70 in lakewood Ranch. I always get either an acrylic full set or fill with gel polish on my fingernails and a pedicure with gel polish. I usually don't question the price or ask for a receipt. Big mistake on my part. I've included a copy of my receipt so you can be an informed consumer. A new set of acrylics with tips and regular polish is $45 but if you want gel polish add $15. That's the price of a whole new bottle!. Even if you are a regular client, you will be charged an additional $10 to remove the old set!. Then I was charged another $5 for medium length !!!! This is ridiculous!!! Now the bill is $75 .They offer a 10% discount for cash payments so my actual cost was &67.50. And of course the $10 tip totalling $77.50. Since acrylics need to be filled every 3 weeks... thats another $45 to $50 bill . I did call the salon and spoke to the manager Anna who is very gracious and understanding but this is their policy. I recognize that this area has higher rents for owners and overhead costs, but this nickel and diming is forcing me to look else for nail services. read more

Possibly the worst nail spa I've been to. The lady doing my nails acted annoyed that she had to file off stones. Fake coughing, sneezing, eye rolling , the whole 9 yards. I got all black nails. She did very thick layers. Anyone that gets/does black gel, knows the layers have to be thin in order to cure all the way under the light. I told her between layers that they needed to cure longer and she insisted they were fine. I told her I was going out of town so I wouldn't be able to come back if they weren't done right. She again insisted they were fine. The next morning I woke up to head to the airport and they were bubbled up because the under layers weren't dry and peeled. I had to order black nail polish off Amazon to the hotel and touch them up myself. read more

I had a 11:30 appointment with them for a regular pedicure and then a gel manicure. I booked an upgraded pedicure but got the generic one (didn't realize it was the generic till it was too late to ask the the upgrade I originally booked). After the pedicure she told me to go sit at her table for my manicure, once I sat down she then asked me to move cause another appointment got there and proceeded to wait 20 min for someone else to finish up so they could do my nails even though I also had an appointment.. The man doing my nails did an ok job in between texting on his phone. I really think a quick check is ok if there is a problem at home, but this was more than just a quick check. One nail was not completely dry, and I didn't know that until I was in my car. I live around a lot of nail salons. I think I'll try a different one next time.
