I honestly think that most of the girls here don't have nail degrees. I got my cuticles absolutely abused here. came out bleeding on EVERY finger and they over charged me for shape that i had to fix once getting home, nail lady's phone was blowing up entire time and she could not stay still once for the entire set. Absolutely insane treatment for somewhere that used to be amazing. idk what has happened in the past year but something needs to change immediately read more

I had high hopes that Lush Nails was going to be my go to place, but sadly it will not be. I went for a pedicure yesterday and asked for the basic pedicure with regular polish, which was $37.00. I had splurged the time before with a gel polish pedicure but that is expensive. I know gel polish is "better" but it is a $16 up charge, which is standard, but I still find ridiculous. I was asked a couple of times if I was sure I did not want gel, and I politely made it clear I was sure and did not want to spend the extra $16. At checkout, I was charged the $37 for the pedicure, PLUS $5 to remove the gel polish PLUS $5 to remove the previous color! ??? If you are going to charge me $5 for removing the gel polish before my pedicure, wouldn't that include the COLOR? I am so annoyed. I was then just $6 away from having had a gel pedicure. If they care more about the money than the customer - okay - have my extra $10 to never have my business again, or my friend's business who was with me and equally annoyed. I hope that $10 was worth it, Lush. How disappointing. :-( read more

Lush Nails is under new management and it is apparent they care! They have installed new furniture throughout and it's a sparkling environment. The pedicure chairs are amazing, even your arms can be massaged! Jennifer is a great nail technician, taking her time and making sure you are a happy customer. My last pedi had not one chip after 3+ weeks. I recommend giving Lush Nails a call! read more

To be fair, my rating is mainly based on the nail tech and the greeter. Not all nail techs are meticulous. I had Jacob. He's the man for the job. I don't know if he still work there. My sister recommended him and he didn't disappoint. I'd give this place a try with another nail tech and won't be afraid to correct their imperfections while getting my nails done. That's the best way to assure your happiness when done. Rather than complain after the fact. read more

I was in Bradenton for a wedding on March 15, and got a chrome french acrylic set done by John. He was nice, but he should never touch an e-file again. I have had a few acrylic sets in my time, and enough to know that there should not be damage to my nails underneath, at least not if the technician is using proper technique. My usual nail tech has never caused damage to my natural nails. My natural nails are strong, and well kept. My nails are now incredibly thin, and bend even if I'm trying to use a necklace clasp. I still have to ask my boyfriend to put my necklaces on for me as it hurts so bad. The rings of fire are so deep, there are dents where the nails were placed. And yes, they hurt. Most damage is done during nail prep rather than removal, and my normal nail tech was HORRIFIED taking these off for me. These were her comments: 1, John was clearly not trained on an E-file. 2, They were incredibly thick. They took an hour to remove. They were heavy on my nails. 3, Half of my nails weren't the same length. 4, The french lines were not even, some of them were thicker than others. 5, (which I had not noticed) There was no top coat on one of my pinkies. 6, They were not completely smooth and had bumps on them. 7, my cuticles weren't pushed back. 8, Half of the nails were improperly placed, so they almost stuck up vertically from my nailbeds. It has been almost two months and my nails are still not in a state to even paint them, as all the scratches and dents on the surface are almost more noticeable with paint than without. Ugh. To John, who told me, "you'll miss me back in orlando", thanks for absolutely ruining my nails. I hope to never cross paths with you again. read more

I wish I don't have to post this. I've gone here at least 7 times not great experiences but not terrible... so I continued to go here because it was convenient. Today was horrible ... my husband bought me a very generous gift card so I booked my pedicure and headed over for what I thought would be a relaxing pedicure. She was so rough , it started as just slightly uncomfortable to Down right sadistic. I several time winced and made it clear the "massage" was WAY too hard ... she didn't give a care , and kept up the pressure. I have a bruise on the top of my foot from this torture session. I do not know why this happened but I will never be back . Sorry to leave this review but I hope this never happens to anyone else. read more

The staff and owners have always been courteous, friendly and professional. The spa is exceptionally clean. I have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for a walk-in appointment, and I've never witnessed anyone waiting longer. When short staffed, the owners step in and take customer. I have been going to Lush Nails every two weeks for the past 2 years. The salon is very clean, well organized and staffed with professionals. I am always happy with my gel manicures and pedicures and frequently get compliments from friends and strangers. The owners are always accommodating and do their best to handle walk ins in a timely manner. If a client isn't happy, they will correct the issue in a timely manner. read more

If I could give zero stars that's what I would do!! I had an appointment two weeks in advance it was at 4:45 because I work till 430. When I showed up they treated me so badly because the lady I had the appointment with did not show up for work. Lush didn't have anybody to cover my appointment. I asked why they didn't call me early to notify me that this lady didn't show up for work. The owner or manager Jacob answered me, why what would you have done? I can't believe that was his answer. I said that's not for you to decide I would've made my choice at that point either I would've made a different appointment and you would've told me nobody could accommodate me or I would've made an appointment somewhere else since I was going on a trip the next day. I am 57 years old and I've never been spoken to that way ever before. I am in customer service myself and I couldn't believe he told me I was acting poorly because I questioned their customer service. I guess the customer is never right at this place. I don't like reading long reviews and I'm sorry everyone that I wrote a long review but I wanted to help you by letting you know don't count on this place. read more

I would never recommend this nail salon to anyone. I went and they didn't do the length or shape i asked for and completely butchered my acrylics. i asked for red and got hot pink and was told the second coat would change it, it didn't so they then put red over it. my gel was wet and i asked them to clean it off my skin and they said they would after it dried. they never did, i had to pick it off myself and my nails were so sloppy and ugly. i work with my hands and could not be seen with them so messed up so someone else then proceeded to redo the gel and i chose a lighter color incase they messed up again and they did. they painted over my cuticles and it's so sloppy and such a waste of my time and money. read more
