We stopped here super early - 5:15 am. Clean outside, clean store inside and a very clean restroom! Both the men's room (and from Mrs. K., the ladies) were super clean. No papers on the counter, no water on the floor, clean smell. Fabulous. We did not need gas at this point, but we'll definitely stop here again as the fuel is just a little beat cheaper here than across the border in Florida. There are lots of fueling options at this exit off I-95, the expansive turning area at the fuel island is why I choose this station. I also figured there wouldn't be any limit on the credit card transaction at the pump since this is a truck stop of sorts. Well the pumps shut down at $100 so instead of re-swiping the card I figured topping off the tank with a hundred bucks worth of fuel would be more than enough to get me back to my home in Florida. I didn't go inside so I won't speak of the staff or the interior but the exterior grounds looked to be well maintained and the pumps functioned fine except for the owners choice to limit purchases - if you're hungry there is a Popeyes attached to the building... read more

Can I say that this is one of the best gas stations in Kingsland? HECK YA I CAN! I have been here a couple of times now and they have been consistently great. Everything from the "Welcome to Petro!" to the "Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Day!" is said with a happy smile and a true, genuine sense to it. They are like the Target or the Chick-fil-A of gas stations. Full of employees wanting to make a great overall experience. They have seasonal (fake, yet clean) flowers all over the place. Some employee there has a great sense of style, because even the bathrooms are themed. For a gas station, bathrooms are very clean and that goes for the store, as well. They have Target-like tactics that make me buy more than one soda and chips. I would highly recommend this gas station, as it had great southern charm and hospitality! read more

It's clean, and the Popeye's inside is great, but it's starting to show it's age. Hopefully turning into a Marathon will help clean the place up. You can come buy misspelled shirts here though. My personal favorite is Kings Bay "Navel" Base. read more

I'm not a trucker or anything but me and my wife ate at this little restaurant inside this gas station called fresh healthy cafe. They serve healthy smoothies and wraps and a bunch of other stuff and I must say it was awesome. My wife and I were even thinking about making this the place we eat every Friday night. It reminded me of a tropical smoothie cafe I ate at before. If you're ever in the area you should definitely check this place out. read more

While nice inside for quick stops, this is NOT a Petro. It's suffering from extreme identity crisis and has deviated from the brand standard decade-long loyal customers have come to expect. There is no sit-down restaurant; only a Popeye's and it doesn't open 'till mid-morning. Try a 6+ meal 34-hour required reset on just Popeye's! I felt so cheated by TA/Petro's little mid-life Identity-crisis. Don't promise a decades-long standard associated with a brand name -- and then spin and re-write it. You're just going to tick off loyal customers. One goes to a Sears for example, expecting a Sears and not a Bargain Barn. That's not saying Bargain Barn is bad -- unless the signage has you expecting a Sears! Oh, so let's order a little "2" to put after it and everything will be OK! Not by a long shot Petro-TA! Those pesky "2"'s rarely show up on GPS's and mapping software and you're still fooled. Look to your competition for a model of respecting the customer who helped you build your empire. Pilot is a smaller lot, usually only fast-food and suitable only if you get there before late afternoon and aren't staying long. A Flying J is a large lot, and a full-service stop with sit-down restaurant. They've NEVER fooled me with a "Flying J II". Charter a new name for these new experiments in limited-service truck-stops so we know what to expect the moment we hear the name you've spent years grooming. read more

The manager (Richard) at the truck stop had one of his workers do an oil change and fuel change on my truck. After the service was completed, my truck no longer started. I instructed the service tech the fuel pump my need to be prime. Needless to say, after roughly 8 hours of them trying to troubleshoot the issue. I had to take it to freightliner work office. The issue was fixed in about thirty minutes. I was told by Richard "I will do everything to make it right if the problem found was caused by us. " Mr. Richard fail to make it right due to his subordinates lack of training cause me to lose revenue not only for one day, but two days. Mr. Richard and the Petro organization fail to stand behind their statements about making the situation right even after making repeated statements "We will make everything right". This particular organization (Petro located at 1105 King Ave in Kingsland,Georgia) is a terrible. The manager Richard lacks the experience as a manager and the expertise as a service tech. Mr. Richard top service tech cause the issue. These are issues that should be considered if anyone require service at this particular location. The issues and personnel at this may be indicative of the entire organization. read more

The fuel desk gals & Denise in the office went the extra mile after we mistakenly left some important documents behind in the copy machine.
