    My little warrior

This is overdue. I can't express how much this whole team helped me after my tiny fur baby passed away. I was scared to hand her over because I didn't trust that I'd actually get her ashes back (I fear some places lump all pet ashes together). I called all over the bay area and no one gave me enough confidence until I spoke to Dr. Ramos from P.E.R. She actually spent a lot of time hearing me out, then making calls to ensure all of my fears were just that- fears. I was treated with respect and kindness. When I brought my baby to the center I was given space and time with her to grieve before she was taken. This was much harder than expected so their set up and process was appreciated. The team was very communicative and helpful. When her ashes were returned to me a couple of weeks later, I was extremely touched that they felt moved by my baby's story and had kindly added little treasures that I will always cherish. I never expected to lose my beloved pet and I don't wish this on anyone, but having this team help get me through it was a gift. If you're reading this it means you're probably grieving your own loss. I'm so sorry. Have faith and confidence here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Ramos and Pets Eternal Rest team.

My beautiful boy, Duke, and my best companion for 12 1/2 years. I know he's playing ball with his friends in heaven.

Dr Ramos had such patience with me during Duke's passing. He was comfortable and never even whimpered. She gave me all the time I needed to say my goodbyes and I love you hugs to Duke. She made my painful moment a bit easier by showing him love and care. She explained everything along the way and supported me while I was sobbing. I highly recommend Pets Eternal Rest when the painful time comes to say our goodbyes to our best friends. She leads with compassion and she lets our beloved pets die with compassion and TLC.

When my beloved 16 year old frenchie passed, I was devastated and Pets Eternal Rest handled her cremation with dignity and compassion. The box that contains her ashes is beautiful. It did not feel like just a business.

I highly recommend Pets Eternal Rest. Dr. Cheryl Ramos is so wonderful, caring and tender. I recently had to euthanize my Jojo at 16 years of age. Cheryl came to my home and the entire session was very peaceful for my baby and for me. I cannot say enough wonderful words about Cheryl.

Very professional in the way they handled the process. I had mad comparisons before calling them and they were the cheapest of all that I had called

    Hank

What a lovely way to help your beloved pet move on. Our hank was 14 years old and showing some definite signs of decline. We made the decision that his quality of life was nearing its end, but wanted him to have a gentle exit. Since getting in and out of the car had become tough for Hank. we decided to have Cheryl at Pets eternal rest come out to our place to help us say goodbye. Although having Cheryl come out to your house to put your animal to sleep, is it a decent amount more money than a traditional vet's office, it is 100% worth the additional cost. Not only were we allowed to say goodbye to him in a very calming way in his own bed, but our other dogs were allowed to be around and say goodbye as well. It felt like this made, their transition to a life without Hank less confusing. If you're looking very peaceful way to say goodbye to your baby, I would highly recommend taking this route.

    Maia on her last day.

In January of 2021 we knew the time had come to say goodbye to our dear cat Maia. She was nearly 20 years old and we had adopted her as a six month old kitten. Dr. Cheryl was kind and compassionate when she came to our home on that last day. She helped all of us see Maia off quietly as I held her. We can't thank her enough for that experience.

This last Wednesday morning Laurie and I oversaw the passing of our beloved Border Collie, George. Cheryl helped us through the process in a manner that was not only professional, but comfortable and kind-hearted... as I see noted by others. I can confirm this. Putting down a furry friend is very stressful, of course. George was about 15 and fast deteriorating with kidney disease. Laurie and I agonized over the decision but decided to let George go while he was mid-way thru decline rather than to allow him to suffer for months on end... or God Knows How Long. In any case, here is a picture of Georgy-Porgy when he was a happy maniac. Look at that snootch! We loved him very much. Thank you, Cheryl, for your help with this. It matters.

Today I said goodbye to my beautiful dog Molly. Dr Ramos helped make the unbearable, bearable. Her compassion from the first phone call until today was so helpful. I highly recommend her when the heartbreaking decision needs to be made.

Sadly, we lost our 14.5 y/o Rudy shortly after Thanksgiving this year. This loss was especially painful, as he was the second of our senior pups to pass within the past 2 years. I had heard about Dr. Ramos after our first loss, and was so glad that we contacted her. It's so much easier to say goodbye in a place where your pet is comfortable and not afraid, and she was absolutely the best - very communicative and understanding. I don't think saying goodbye can ever be easy, but we did feel that Rudy passed comfortably and without fear, and she was so gentle and professional from the start to the moment she took him away. I really feel that she made this whole ordeal so much easier. As a side note, for those who may have financial concerns, I can say that the cost was less than going to the veterinary hospital.

They had a room available to us to say goodbye, we even brought our other dog with us to say goodbye. When you dropoff a pet for cremation, they say they will turn that around in 7-10 business days, I think they did it in 6. It feels a little weird to review a pet crematorium, but we have another dog at the moment, and we'd consider using Golden State again.

That said, I just wanted to say thank you to Shane again for his true patience, professionalism, kindness and understanding throughout the whole process. A friend recommended me to Shane and Golden State Pet Crematorium after she lost her fur baby. When the time came after Indy; my dog, passed away, I contacted them the next day. They said that we could come in asap and that there was no wait period, which I appreciated. On top of that, he empathized and was patient with me when I sobbed on the phone because it happened so soon. Which I truly appreciated since it proved to me that Shane is a real one. To wrap up, their prices are extremely fair, the options are gorgeous as seen in the pics I included, and the turn around time to complete the cremation was finished in a week. I would highly recommend Shane to anyone who is looking for a crematorium for their recently deceased fur baby. 10/10 easy for this spot.

Dr. Park's contact information provided a phone number where we can communicate via text, so I texted an initial inquiry on a Saturday afternoon, not expecting a prompt response. Within 30 minutes, Dr. Park responded. Thankfully, she was available for a Monday morning appointment. She provided links to all the pertinent information needed: pricing, process, and FAQs. Also provided were the necessary links to book the services. Dr. Park arrived at the scheduled appointment time and immediately sought to comfort our dog and our family. After reviewing the process with us again, she made sure to answer all our questions and only proceeded when we stated we were ready. She waited patiently while we said our final farewells before proceeding. The procedure went exactly as described, and Dr. Park provided much needed words of comfort once our beloved pup crossed over. She placed his body in a modest basket carrier, complete with flowers, and gave us the time we needed before taking him away. We couldn't have asked for more with the service Dr. Park provided. She exceeded our expectations to lay our dog to rest with the utmost dignity. We fully appreciate the service Dr. Park provided and highly recommend her services. She even sent us a sympathy card a few days after, a nice touch! Her pricing is transparent and reasonable. Thank you so much, Dr. Park!

It was really important to us to be able to bring him ourselves and have that sense of control. I had also heard too many stories of larger operations misplacing pets or losing ashes during transport, which felt unimaginable. Some of the places we spoke to also felt very transactional. It didn't feel like they were meeting us in what was a very real, emotional moment. Restful Pets was completely different from the first call. They were genuinely compassionate. Being local made everything easier, and their turnaround was much faster than what we were quoted elsewhere. It's definitely no-frills, with no big packages or upsells, but that ended up being exactly what we needed. What mattered most was knowing he was close and that we were in control of the process, with someone who treated us with care. That made all the difference.
