So frustrated with this place! Wasn't happy the first time, but decided to give them another try because they're close. Today I dropped off my dog at 10am for a bath, nail trim and teeth brushing. They tell you 3-4 hours. At 5pm I call them twice with no answer. Again at 7pm with no answer. Call again at 8pm and was told 'yeah, he's been ready for a while now. We've been getting complaints today about us not calling customers'. I go up there to get him. Go up to the register with him and the cashier commented how much he was shaking. I asked to speak with the manager (maybe they didn't know their was an issue). The manager came and I expressed my concern with the all day thing and how my dog still stinks like he was just rinsed off without shampoo). He walked away to the back (where the grooming is) without even saying anything to me. I go ahead and pay and walk out to the car because he never came back. When I was getting ready to leave I noticed he walked back up there so I went back in to see what he found out. He said 'he didn't know and there's nothing he can do until he talks to the person that washed him tomorrow'. He also mentioned that there was only one worker there all day which wasn't true because there were at least two in the front (and they were talking to someone in the back). I just walked out. So I was clipping my dogs nails and accidentally cut one too short. She started bleeding and I tried anything I could at home, it didn't help. It was 8:45 and I live 5 minutes away, so I decided to go real quick to help my poor baby. Once I got there I asked for assistance and was rejected because "she was the only employee working and had other things to do" after minutes of not being able to find what I needed, a volunteer taking out the trash kindly helped me find what I needed. Once I get to the cashier, the woman is very rude while checking me out. I will give two stars just because a few days ago my sister accidentally broke a bowl and they did not make me pay for it. This location is terrible. They are close so I decided to suck it up 3 times. Each time I was in there once to look at their fish which are disgusting and they seem to never really be in stock and the tanks are dirty. When I asked for help and had questions no one seemed to know what they were talking about. Very frustrating. This same visit I walked around and noticed the dog isle of collars and harnesses looked wiped out and messy like they were going out of business. My second visit was geared towards the fish to see if the first visit was a bad day and I also needed a product that is very well known in other pet stores. The fish looked exactly the same and still not much stock in and tanks still dirty. I gave up. Then I asked for this item I came in for and they said I don't know what that is. I explained and they just said I don't think we have that. Without looking the guy said sorry and walked off. Wth? Horrible customer service. You can recommend something else or at least make sure you don't have that product because you didnt seem sure. *FACE PALM* I then checked the leash isle again and still looked like crap. Sadly I was hoping for more options as I love changing up my dogs collars. My 3 rd visit was to be lazy knowing they probably wouldn't have much still but in hopes to find a nice looking harness for someone who wanted something specific. They were out of all the small dog sizes in the ones I needed. A lady by the name of Kathy asked if I needed anything. I said maybe. I'm hoping you might have a size hidden somewhere making light of the situation and then asked if they were getting ready to change the leash isle or bring in new items because they never seem to be very stocked up and half the isle was bare. She responded with a sarcastic "I don't understand what you mean" remark that frankly was followed by attitude and I felt like she was annoyed I was asking questions. I immediately got uncomfortable and just wanted her to leave. She finally asked well I can check our ordering system which felt very forced on her end. She walked off. Came back making excuses about why they don't have things in stock and one response was well it says we have one in but that's probably not right. Then said we only order 2-3 at a time and they just go fast. Wtf? If those items go fast wouldn't you want more in??? She was awful and I just couldn't wait for her to be done. I thanked her anyway said I will just have to order offline. Which working in customer service I would have asked the customer if I could order more and taken my name. Bottom line this store sucks and they clearly have no customer service skills. I will never go back again. Go somewhere else people! The reviews are right! read more

This was my first time visiting this Petsmart. After a disappointing haircut at the Petsmart at Coit and Campbell I was a little hesitant to take my dog to another Petsmart. I was proven wrong with the Petsmart in Addison! I have a Bichon/Poodle mix, they did a fantastic job! They had her ready within an hour and a half, and did a wonderful job on her. Her nails were trimmed close but not too short, she had a great "teddy bear face" and they even told me she wasn't too happy about having one paw touched. After taking her to the vet, she had a big blister on her paw I probably would have overlooked if it wasn't for them letting me know. I didn't spend much time in the store, so I can only speak to the grooming salon. Lilly will definitely be getting more haircuts from Dawnell at this store! read more
