Upon arrival, the kindness continued and he was very helpful and knowledgeable on the proper length for Kolby's mane. I really appreciated this because he cut Kolby exactly how we I wanted (we do not do the traditional cut on him). I was initially worried about my fur baby because he gets extremely anxious, but, I felt comfortable once we were able to discuss things. The appointment took the standard amount of time, so no complaints there. The checkout process was smooth as well. Overall, Kolby looked like a new furman! HOWEVER, after I picked up my dog from her last boarding stay from 12/27/2021-12/31/2021, she came back with bruising to her neck and a large hematoma (as diagnosed by her veterinarian). When I called the business to let them know, the owner offered a refund, which I did not take because I wanted to know exactly what happened rather than him giving me a refund and sweeping it under the rug. He said he would review the video footage of the 4 days she was there and get back to me...he called back within a few hours to let me know the footage didn't show anything....which lets me know he didn't actually review it, because how does one watch 4 days of video that quickly? I called again and again, and none of the staff have said they saw anything happen or know anything about an incident (either from another staff member or dog). Either my dog was injured by a staff member themselves or by another dog during the daycare playtime and a staff member didn't see it OR didn't report it, all of which are unacceptable. The owner did not seem to care about the well being of my dog which was a slap in the face as a loyal customer. We will not be using their services again, and I would encourage others not to use them either as the quality of their care has gone downhill.
