I was very disappointed today by this store we shop at and have used grooming services several times for our dog. Here's the story, we saw advertised on TV a special shopping deal over Black Friday where if you spend $100 you would get 10,000 bonus points. We go in fill the cart, go to checkout where we ask the associate (a young man) who told us we have to download the app . I scanned the bar code but the app kept erroring out. I showed him and asked if there's something else we can do. He said he had never seen that error before and "I don't know what to tell you." Well I do know what to tell PetSmart, they lost my business. I put everything back and we went to Petco which we will be doing from now on and I'll be encouraging family, friends and whoever I can to do the same. Fantastic customer service folks. Over the course of 2 years No one is ever available to check you out.Many times I've had to call down the aisles and ask for someone to ring me out. It generally takes another couple of minutes before someone comes. And generally speaking when you get someone to ring you out if you want to do something other then purchase an item they don't know what to do. For instance today, I wanted to purchase a gift card as a Christmas present and the guy couldn't figure out what to do. So i left there without making a purchase. They lost a $200 sale!!!! This is not a COVID related staffing issue because today there were several people in the aisles stocking. How dumb is that during the approaching Christmas season to not have capable people manning a cashier station especially when there are at least 3 staff in the aisles. Two weeks ago when I was in there I asked to have a person who had moved out of the country taken off my account. 3 people told me to call the 800 customer service line. UH NO! I am here and your computers are tied into the company database so you please do it. The reason I came here is so that I didn't have to spend 20 minutes online with someone to get it done.Not one of them would attempt to do this for me so my only choice now is to open a 2nd account with my secondary phone #. OR better ---take my business away from this chain and give it to a nearby Mom and Pop who will appreciate my $200. Yes, Thats's what i am going to do right now. read more

Pet Parents Beware!!!! I'm trembling as I'm writing this review. PLEASE Do not bring your dog here for grooming. I trusted PetSmart to groom my 7 lb Toy Poodle and received a phone call from Celeste that "everything was ok" and my dog "had a little incident, her ear was clipped, and was being taken to the vet as a precaution!" Not Celeste or any of the staff at PetSmart communicated or sent pictures of what the injuries were, so we were left panicking. HOURS LATER, the vet informed us that my dog had to be anesthetized because she had to get FIVE STITCHES!! How does a regular grooming turn into anesthesia, stitches, a catheter, pain meds, missed work, and a follow-up visit after 10-14 days?!!! Upon examination of my dog, I realized the cut looks as though she was maimed! I am almost certain this will leave a.scar on her and a scar on her heart from the fear of getting groomed. So after we picked her up from the Vet ER, we called PetSmart to see how they plan to rectify this-- besides her having a free haircut. Gavin replied, "well that is between you and our corporate office now because you signed a waiver when you dropped her off . . . " Did we sign a waiver for our dog's ear to have a flap now?! What about signing up for the trauma of dropping your dog off and her coming back with a bloody, mauled ear and groggy from the anesthesia? I am utterly hurt and upset PetSmart. I don't ever write reviews but me and my boyfriend just came here for danios (schooling fish) the lady her name is Ronnie who does the fish is so sweet and i'm not here to bash her but she needs to be taken off of handling the fish. she grabs them with her bare hands and she dropped one on the floor and picked it up and squished it and just threw it back in the tank. i was just in shock and proceeded to go find a new associate because she kept scooping the guppies and that's not what we asked for which is not a huge deal but with her bare hands and squishing and sliding them on the glass. i don't doubt that these fish will die in a few hours. just please take her off of fish. read more

I'm absolutely confused and just flat out annoyed by your grooming service's hours. How on earth do you only groom cats Mondays, Tuesdays. And Wednesdays??? On top of that your latest time is 12pm???? People work I'm pretty sure you guys are aware of that right?? I work Monday through Friday. How is this a thing??? I called the Brookhaven PetSmart to see what their hours were (for grooming as well as for the store) and the phone rang and rang and rang - no answer. Finally, somebody answered and I was able to schedule an early (8 AM) nail trim for my mutt. Griffon (the groomer), Rob (store manager) and Ellen (who opened the door - as I was literally the first person there that day) were all terrific. Now that the Springfield PetSmart (one of 2 in Springfield) closed, we'll be coming here for grooming, food, treats, supplements and whatever else our pooch might need. Still, nothing can compare to the prices at DelChester Feed up in Newtown Square. PetSmart is kinda like "Giant Food" for us. We have to go, so it is nice to have a new (opened late 2017), clean, reliable PetSmart nearby. Thank you Griffon. read more

DO NOT SEND YOUR FURRY LOVED ONE! Unless you want to torture them! We have been going here for our grooming for 3 years under another groomer (who had recently left) and it was great....until our last visit! The groomer was irrational and had no connection with animals. Our dog was retuned to us fully shaven against our direction and clearly had been distressed by the treatment she underwent over 4 hours. she was shaking, cowering down and wanted to hide, she is typically super sweet. It took 3 days for Lily, our wheaten to recover from this ordeal. There is no reason for any pet To go through this. Our groomer (punisher) was rude and knew she had been cruel to our dog, please PetSmart monitor your employees so this DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANOTHER ANIMAL, namely Celes should be removed! Immediately! PETSMART.....So went into the grooming salon on 5-7 for a 1 oclock appointment, The solicited me May 4 th and said my dogs were due so I set an appointment for the 5-7 date when I get there apparently there was an error on their part which they tried to put on me , so there was a walk in nail day and I asked if they could please just clip a high spot or 2 on my dog, I mean it looks like just a couple random weeds going straight out about 4-5 inches, she became more idignant , rude and socially unacceptable so I told her I would call corporate and she became pissed and said she wasnt gonna do the dogs at all ( nails grinding and tooth brushing walk inwhich they were advertising so I called expecting brookaven expecting a call back from the manager at Brookhaven and it never happened, Fast forward to today , I went in there for some bird stuff and a manager happened to be there I spoke with him, we went to grooming to set an appointment as he was trying to resolve the issue, the girl was there the short round one with short blond hair and told the manager they did not want to deal with me anymore because I kicked my dog...IT NEVER HAPPENED...I asked the manager to look at the tape and that she was lying but they said they could not let me see it. I told him the FAT EFF was lying and I swore it to his mother and mine....I went and filed a police report with the Brookhaven Police because if I abused my dog as she claimed , why did she not call Animal Welfare and report me??? If I did that and she works with animals on a daily basis is that not a crime??? Now they have the right to refuse doing business with anyone as they are a private business but as an animal lover I would like to let everyone know that they let a supposed animal abuser walk out with out so much as a comment, AGAIN IT NEVER HAPPENED, SO I will be calling corporate this time and never giving them my business again and I am consulting with an attorney because she accused me of animal cruelty which is a blatant lie for which I am being blackballed for and I want to see the tape ,THEY SAID I CANT, but the objective here is to get her fired not for anything else but slandering me and not reporting animal abuse when she works with animals every day. I want to see that tape as the manager said they have it and will look at it(FAT CHANCE), and I want accountability for the so call lead , manager or whatever she is I have been going there for years and I am mortified and ashamed to be perceived that way as she told the whole salon and no one wants to do my dogs anymore because of what she said that I did NOT TRUE and her ass needs to be held accountable , especially in a "manager" position If anyone has had the same expeirience please speak up I will never go there again but she will never groom another dog in Delaware county again read more

The people that work in the salon are incredibly rude. I worried for hours about my dog and they couldn't give me an estimate of when he would be done. All they said was they would call me with no ETA. Our dog is out child and the people who work in the grooming area made us feel less than. Please DON'T leave your pets here. read more

I came to this store yesterday to buy a bird that's $17.99 and they charged me $49.00 for the bird luckily I noticed the receipt before I went home I called them and told them and they fixed it and gave my money back but today my mother decided to buy him a friend same kind so she went and they try to pull the same bs scam on her she told them no! It's not 49$ and you should know because my son came here and told you about the price and my mother told me it was the same cashier so that means he's doing this scam to other people read more

I was looking for a cow shin for my dog. The bones were spread out and did not match the labels. Additionally, the staff really should greet the customer if they are standing there doing nothing as the customer walks in. Also when I went to pay for my order the cashier did not greet me. Booked a Bath and Brush for our dog, which according to their website where I booked it was $42 and included a bath, tangerine shampoo, nails, teeth, anal gland expression, and a few other services. We dropped her off and they said it's extra money and includes less services. When we spoke with the manager about what is included in the site and what we booked, she was argumentative and unprofessional. We told her to cancel the appt and we would come get our dog, to which she responded "okay." Went to pick up my dog and they all made it a point to look at me like I was the asshole. Got the Pawdicure Plus today for my dog and I am very disappointed. This service includes a nail trim, nail file, ear cleaning, and tooth brushing and the only noticeable difference on my dog was her nails and even that was not great. Her ears are still visibly dirty as well as her teeth. It looks like they didn't even attempt to do those at all. Her nails were definitely trimmed but not at all filed as they are sharp and some have little hang nails hanging off them so I had to file them myself. Would definitely not recommend any of these services, especially for $26. You're better off doing it yourself or going elsewhere. read more

This new location is super close to my house so I find it very convenient. The store was clean and the associates were very helpful and pleasant. I was pleased to discover that when I found my dog's food cheaper on Amazon, they price matched it for me! I also brought my dog in for a picture with Santa and it turned out very cute. read more
