I am not a huge fan of PetSmart in general. It has nothing to do really with the store itself... It just doesn't have the kind of food. We usually feed the dogs and I'm pretty good on dog. This place covers most of the animals that one would have at home cat dog, fish, rodent birds... and even sells birds fish and has an adoption center for mainly cats sometimes a puppy They also have grooming in a veterinarian, it appears that they have daycare and dog training-- though I've never really used any of that. Checking out here difficult it always seems slow and there's always a line. I find that frustrating so I tend to avoid coming here due to that fact alone. Otherwise, it has a lot of things to select from. I guess I'm just not an segment market. read more

Took my pup to petsmart for grooming. bath and brush! Got there and she had a small amount of matting under her collar area. Of course, she has hair! They cancelled my appointment. They did the same to the person behind me. If u r going for a bath and brush, they are supposed to brush the dogs! I have four doodles and they do get mats because of their collar. Usually groomers just charge a little extra to comb out the collar area before bathing. BEWARE, Petsmart at Easton will cancel your appointment! I waited for the day of my only to get turned away. I spoke with the manager, what a waste of time! Get your dog groomed elsewhere. Or plan on brushing the dog before you get them brushed at Easton Petsmart. read more

My dog has been getting groomed since he was 1 years old and I have never had a problem. He went in for nail clipping and grind since he didn't need a hair cut. The guy who brought him out left his nails bloody. My poor dog looked stressed and was jumping all over getting spots of blood on the tile. Rather than caring and trying to fix the situation, the guy who worked there looked so annoyed that he had to clean the tile. He also looked really annoyed at my dog and I did not appreciate how he handled him. He was pretty rough with him. I wish I took photos of this situation, but I didn't. I will never be coming here again. You guys need to do better in terms of training your employees and hiring decent groomers. read more

I have been boarding my dog at the PetSmart Easton Animal Hotel for the past five years without issue, but my most recent experience was extremely upsetting and disappointing. My dog suffered a spinal stroke in November 2024 and went through extensive rehab. I booked his first boarding stay since then a month in advance, only to be told two days before drop-off (after reading the note I put in the booking a month prior) that he could not stay because my vet supposedly advised against it. The manager, Katie, told me multiple times that both my primary vet and MedVet had concerns. When I followed up, I discovered this was not true, both my regular vet and MedVet confirmed they had never expressed concerns about boarding and had no issues with him staying there and MedVet even offered to write a letter after calling them as well so there would be no issues in the future. Despite this, Katie insisted otherwise and misrepresented what the veterinarians had said. Not only did this leave me scrambling for care right before my trip, but it also devastated my parents' dog, who has significant anxiety and has always boarded with my dog for comfort. Being separated caused her even more distress. After years of loyalty to this location, I was shocked to be treated with such dishonesty and disregard for the well-being of both dogs. Pet parents deserve honesty and compassion not misinformation and added stress. I sincerely hope PetSmart addresses the actions of this manager and ensures other families don't go through the same experience. read more

Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Dropped my dog off at 7a and he wasn't done for SEVEN HOURS!! I was livid and those heavyset ladies acted as if I was the problem. Even a pet smart employee mentioned how many times I came inside to check and stated how ridiculous the wait was. The manager was made aware and never reached out. I took my puppy to PetSmart for the nail clipping package for $22. This package included a nail trim & grind, light feet trim & pad shaving, ear cleaning, cologne spritz & everyday bandana or bowl. I had a coupon for $5 off so the final price was $17. He did not receive ear cleaning, cologne spritz, or bandana. They did grind the back paws and pad shaving in the back, but nothing on the front paws. If they did a light feet trim, You could not tell it. Total and complete waste of time and money. read more

I could have sworn I'd left a review here a couple of weeks ago. I must have been distracted and hope I haven't missed anything in the meantime. I was especially happy when I went to pick up our cats after having to suddenly find lodging for them three weeks ago. It was our first time boarding the two five-year-old siblings. I cannot say enough in praise of the work of everyone there. The reason I am so effusive in my praise is this: one of our cats was neither eating nor using the litter box after a couple of days. We were in another state and were especially concerned. With excellent support from the folks at the Banfield Pet Hospital, a different business on-site but one with which they have excellent co-care arrangements-the folks at PetSmart Easton got Anna through her anxiety, eating, and using the litter box. Perhaps this is does not seem like a big deal to many but to folks who had never experienced a problem with their pets while away we were very impressed by the quality of attention, the clarity of communication, the frequency of updates and, especially, the sense of warmth and empathy we experienced every step along the way. From the site manager named Katie-I apologize if I have any names incorrectly spelled-and with apologies to the very fine folks who helped take care of our pets but I never met, to those I did including Melanie, Bailey, and Geri(sp?): thank you from them bottoms of our hearts! TL;DR? I am taking the puppy training 6 week class at Easton and the price is fantastic for 6 classes. We are learning great tricks, tips and practical advice while practicing in class. Trainers are very knowledgeable and fun with fabulous personalities. My only complaint is training is in isles of store and sometimes it's distracting to my pup who has to see everything. I would highly recommend this puppy class. read more

First off I will never apologize for checking on the well being of an animal. I have had cats for years and have never seen what I saw today. The water bowls had, what I later found out to be was litter, at the bottom. This litter had dissolved and spread, and it appeared extremely similar to mold. I just wanted to make sure someone was aware about the dishes and that's when I was told it was litter. I have never had my litter do that in water so it was not something I had ever seen. Went back to looking at the cats (I've been really wanting to get another cat), when an employee walked by me, mocking me for asking about the bowls. Make fun of my question, whatever. But the fact that she went and did it right next to me was so rude. I left without getting anything, which I know makes no impact, but just wanted someone to be aware how disrespectful that was to say to a customer. read more

As I look at the reviews, I'm surprised they even get a one. I have had my dog their numerous times each time the service has declined from failing to do their teeth and nails, and terminate all services which I paid for. It's very discouraging today I went only after I've taken the effort to get there find out they don't take walk-ins for nail trims. read more

It is always a joy to go into this store. Today I saw a dog with a birthday hat on! The cashiers wear masks. There are no marks on the floor to help people keep the six-foot distance required so people in lines stood pretty close together. But the store is fun. read more

It's like a Macy's for your pets!! It's a big wonderful department store that your pets can shop for hours in and socialize with other pet shoppers. Yes, I know it's a dreaded chain store, but hey, you can't beat their selection and prices. And we all know how much I like a good bargain!! For those that may be unfamiliar with Petsmart... they have food - for EVERYTHING. Every type of pet supply imaginable - from how-to books, to bags to pick up your pets 'poop'. Yes, I said it... POOP... LOL. And of course there is a beauty shop for the pets too (I guess groomer is the proper term), though I do find them a little more expensive than other places for that service (see my review for "Love your Pet"). This location also offers daycare as well as boarding... a very nice facility!! Anyway, your pets need pampering too, and this is a good place to start! read more

Is this not one of main reasons one pays for dog grooming- to clean face very well!! She said, "she wouldn't let me touch her face." What? I thought these were professional services? I check in here, we go here all the time, and I review every place I go nowadays...--- Petsmart has the best prices and selection on the supplies we need. Petco is a close competitor, but for the brands we get, this comes in first place. Lots of different brands of food, plenty of other related supplies. Plus people bring their dogs to the store and there is a grooming area by the check-out, so you can see lots of animals. They have occasional adoption events, and I think there is even a small clinic off to the side. Easton traffic can be crazy, so be careful. Scheduled a Bath & Brush Furminator with Katlyn on Sunday and did not get what I paid for $87 with a $10 tip. Called a few hours later explaining to Katlyn the lack of cleaning & she acknowledged she did not thoroughly brush my dog because she had dry skin and she was afraid the skin would break. I then asked why she didn't inform me because I paid for a Bath & Brush Furminator, not the brush and bath. She immediately said I'll get my manager without me even asking for the manager. The manager, Ashley had me come in today for a rewash and as I walked in 15 minutes her she looked at me & said your early and I need to finish up with another dog. I said no problem and left my dog inside to run out to the car to park my car. I come back in and she has an attitude & attempted to chastise me for leaving my dog for 30 seconds! I then tell her if my dog was shampooed correctly the first time I wouldn't be here! I then say WHATEVER! She then yells give her a refund! No accountability whatsoever! Recently got my kids a hamster and some fish. Each person helping was extremely discouraging. It was like they didn't want to sell us the animals. We bought the cages they have at the store but apparently all the fish get huge and need at lease 30 gallon tank??? Why would you sell smaller tanks if you can't buy the fish. I get they are wanting to protect the animals, but I was very uncomfortable and ultimately walked away without what we really wanted. I felt frustrated like they were refusing to sell me things. read more

First, I dropped off my dog for grooming at 10:00am and at 4:15pm I finally called to check on him. They said he was completed and I could pick him up. Despite the fact that they told me they would text me when he was finished, they didn't. I learned later that my dog was finished at 2:30pm! He sat in a cage for well over 2 hours and no one did anything! The excuse was that "corporate" sends the emails and sometimes people don't get them so..... There was no response when I pointed out that the workers were there and saw that my dog was just sitting there! Second, they tried to charge me more for extra "grooming" but they could not explain what that was. When pressed, they admitted that they really only know how to perform the "doodle" cut. They did finally take the extra charge off but it took three explanations to three different people. Please reconsider your decision to entrust your pet to this operation. It is way too expensive and you cannot trust that the workers will look out for your furry friend. Rip off! Find a groomer that cares! read more

Ok, so I'm just a tad ticked off at this place right now. My husband just dropped our dog off here this week and SPECIFICALLY told them they HAD TO TRIM HIS NAILS. It is supposed to be part of the package, however, the last time we went they didn't do it. Something about he was didn't want it done. UMMMMM, ok. He is a dog. He may not like it, but it needs to be done. Anywho, my husband goes to pick up our beloved dog yesterday, and guess what. EVEN WHEN SPECIFICALLY telling them he has got to have his nails trimmed (he is scratching my kids and us all the time when we play with him...and those scratches hurt....really bad) they were not. Their excuse. He was hyper. Really? I guess it was better than he didn't want it done excuse but enough is enough. If you cannot provide a specific service for someone you need to let them know. PetSmart is about as good as it gets for a Big Box pet supplies store, essentially the Meijer of Pet stores. The prices on food is a little bit higher than your normal grocer but you find a greater variety of foods here and a vast selection of the specialty foods as well. The grooming station is the service I most utilize for my dog and the girls in there always do a great job with the pawdicure service. read more

We do Petsmart for their grooming and consistency. This one dropped the ball. Even paid a little more for the shampoo that should've kept my golden doodle smelling good for a little longer. When I picked him up, he hardly smelled any different. And his trimming around his face was not as good as it usually is...some hairs were longer. Really bummed. I've taken my Golden Retriever here several times to be groomed. Each time they do a good job with bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping her nails, teeth and cleaning her ears. The staff are very friendly. The only thing I don't care for are the prices. It typically costs me about $95 each visit. When I took my dog to the PetSmart Grooming in Portland, OR (when we lived there) it only cost me about $65. read more

Our boy loves this place. He can't wait to go to doggy daycamp once a week and is exhausted after spending 6 to 8 hours here. He seems to always make new friends (and some recurring) and the staff loves him and treats him very well. We have taken him about 4 times now for daycamp and then boarding with daycamp for a 4 day (3 night) stay. We have also used the grooming service once, he had a nail grind and bath. We cannot say enough good things about the service and the value we get here. Since he is an only child is a great way for him to socialize and get some exercise (or escape a hectic day at the house if we're having work done). Highly disappointed at my recent experience at the Easton store for the grooming department. I couldn't book a nail trim online so I called the store instead, I was told nail trims are a walk in and they started accepting them again since 7/5. After arriving at the salon I let them know I called in and was told I could walk in for a nail trim to which I was rudely asked to come back in 30 minutes since they couldn't accommodate me. I was told only one groomer there could do nails and they were swamped. I let them know I took time off work to do this and couldn't just come back and asked if I could just book an appointment for a different day so this wouldn't happen again and was told there would be no guarantee for availability for a different day. This was incredibly frustrating to not be accommodated after being told it would be ok to walk in and then not receive help in scheduling an appointment. Solid 3.5. Things like canned cat food may be pricey here, but they do have varieties that are not in the grocery store. The individuals who have helped us have proven capable as well as personable so shopping is pleasant enough. The store itself is organized by pet type so I have not done much exploring. Aisles do, however, feel tight and a bit dim. In the end you'll find what you need here, but like I said it may be more pricey than other places. I'll leave value and quality decisions up to you, but I shall suggest you say hello to the lil lizards and chameleons! read more

The staff here is just as non existent as other locations but I like th set up of this place better. The adoption ares for kitties is run by a group, not the Humane Soc which I love. They are Forgotten 4 Paws and the ladies are all very nice. There cats & kittens are well cared for and I strongly recommend taking a look next time you're in, or on Sat & Sun when they have adoption days. There shelves are never properly stocked and its getting worse lately, which is why I only gave 3 stars. The hay is on sale is never there to purchase, huge issue with me since I wont buy any then and go elsewhere. No one is helpful in finding it in the back, another big problem. I sent 30 mins one time while the manager went to look only to find out there was a pallet in the way back that had it and then 10 more mins to find out he couldnt get to it. The cat food I buy wasnt in stock last weekend either, and the cat scratcher I needed also was no in stock for the last 2 weeks. The doggy day care is nice and the groomers are nice. An exit bath here is only $10, way cheaper then what they charge for grooming. read more

Don't do their hotel it's horrible.... we got a price of 150 which is fine we got a free night then we had called to confirm and it changed to 240 for some reason and they said it happens online sometimes! Its your typical pet supply store whats there to say, they have pet food, treats, toys, leashes, fish, reptiles, cages, you name it they have it!! as for This location, amazing!! clean, stocked well, and the employees were outstanding! i showed up about 5 minutes after they closed on a mad dash for dog food since my puppy was at home starving and waiting for me to arrive home from work with his dinner! one of the employees was closing up the doors as i walked up to the door and asked what i needed, i explained to her that i just needed dog food because i was all out and didn't want to have to go to target just for dog food. She totally understood and let me in!! (what a life saver! buddy appreciated it as well!) My only complaint is that its a bit expensive, but then again it is a lot more convenient than going to your local Walmart or Target with a WAYYY bigger selection of pet supplies!! read more

Dr. Chris, one of the vets, is great! He works really well with my rescue dog who has anxiety. But the clerks at the front desk are rude and unsympathetic. I just called to make an appointment and the clerk sounded irritated when I asked my questions. Forgive me for not knowing EXACTLY what my dog needs and what appointment I need. I also don't know the changes your hospital goes through and shouldn't be held accountable for knowing that Dr. Chris doesn't do surgery anymore. I don't know what's wrong with my dog and he's crying and limping - a little sympathy would be nice. I don't think that warrants a snarky tone. But really, does anything warrant a snarky tone in customer service? read more
