I will never take my puppy back to Petsmart grooming in Fayetteville Ga. The groomer Yesein took over 6 hours to groom my teacup yorkie and she looked like something I did at home. My puppy did not smell like she'd been bathed. I also saw her grab my puppy around her neck aggressively twice. The bones in their neck are the most fragile. My puppy was shaking when she brought her out and she all but tossed her to me! They then tried to overcharge me for an alleged premium package + a bath. I will never go to them again!!!! read more

Well I was just reminded of why I stopped coming to this location. The customer service was good when I came through the door but the price of one of my harnesses had to be adjusted. I get home (a bit over 30 min of a drive), it's too small. I go right back to petsmart, exchanged THE SAME EXACT HARNESS for size and the SAME cashier rang it up incorrectly the 1st time, now she wants to charge me the correct price. It is not my fault that she didn't do a price check the first time. I decided to grab another item and get back in line but I had a different cashier this time. I explained the situation, not only did she rectify it, she found it cheaper online and did a price adjustment! That's how you take care of a customer! But they need to come down on a lot of their prices, a lot of this stuff is sold in other stores for a lot cheaper. read more

My pet had to get groomed, so this is the closest location for Petsmart. I've been here in the past, so I'm glad I end up coming to this one. I was in Chattanooga, Tennessee when my husband dropped our pet off. So I don't know the lady groomer who groomed our pet's name. But, I love the way she groomed him and will definitely be back soon. My next project is a fish tank. I'm not sure if I want to do salt water or fresh. I'm still deciding. read more

Curbside pickup is a joke! 15 mins for someone to answer the phone for curbside and another 15 mins passed and nobody ever came out! If I wanted to go inside then that's how I would've ordered. Went inside finally after 30 mins went by and it took less than 5 mins for someone to bring me my order smh all it took was to tell the customer to hold one second and bring it outside. After taking our various small poodles here for grooming over the past 15 YEARS, suddenly we hav been "dumped". The young groomers in this salon refuse to groom our two small poodles. We had an excellent groomer there for the past year. She groomed BOTH our poodles between 12:30 and 3:30p. (As did another groomer there the year before). Dogs looked great and even had special bows beside each ear. It was wonderful and they had no problem with our dogs. I always tip our groomers too. The recent groomer suddenly quit. We received a text stating both our dogs' appointments "Have been cancelled." I called the salon and asked for a new appointment with any other groomer available. Young man answered the phone and told me "No one here 'feels comfortable grooming your dogs." WHAT? After 15 years of coming here? I asked WHY? Guy said because our 6 lb poodle's tongue "hangs out due to no teeth." Told me "It's a a safety issue." I said that I would trim her face myself and they could do the rest. No. Then I asked about our 15 lb poodle. She doesn't have any problems. Same BS answer repeated, "None of our groomers feel comfortable"...yada, yada. Then he said I could go to different Petsmart stores miles away with terrible traffic. (One of which I have heard that their groomers ABUSE the dogs)! Unbelievable. I told him I cannot do that. Keep in mind the groomers they hire at Petsmart are the bottom of the barrel youngest groomers. They can't handle simple jobs. Totally ridiculous. They used to have older women groomers who were efficient and friendly. Not any more. Doesn't pay to complain to the young store manager man either. The employee staff in the fish department was extremely rude to me almost violent while I was in the store. I saw that they had fish in bags already so I figured they did that ahead of time due to short staffing issues or to save time . So I grabbed the one (prepackaged fish already in a bag ) I wanted and kept shopping until one of the employees (Spencer) walked up to me and told me that they were not selling fish until 3 pm and SNATCHED the bag out of my hands as she said " so if I can have this back!" And she then walked backwards ... First of all this is assault and we as adults were all taught in kindergarten to keep our hands to ourselves... Alarming as that may be I let it go. This was at 12:30pm so I figured I would have to drive all the way home and back again hours later as per instructions... So I put everything I had in my hands back on the shelf since I would have to come back again anyways.. So here I am back again at 3pm as told before by Spencer and now the manager is telling me she is not going to sell the fish to me until 5pm... literally ruined my entire day and took up all of my time which is valuable to me and this company should treat its customers a little more better than this experience. read more

I have had horrible experiences with petsmart groomers. They have consistently cut my dog when grooming. The salon is smelly and not clean. I started taking my dog to Petco and live the service and people. Petsmart on the other hand... The people are not that great with the animals. Every time I went in, I felt like the people were annoyed to have another dog to groom. The people were not animal friendly nor were they excited to meet or see a dog. The phone would ring and they would look around to see who would answer it next. This one lady actually said, "you gonna get that?" I dislike petsmart's grooming services and staff. They really need to be trained in people and pet skills. The worst part about taking any pet to petsmart is that you definitely don't get the services you pay for. The Spa package... Waste of money because they don't do it. I would love for the company to allow cameras in the back and front. One, to cover themselves, and two, so that pet owners really know what's going on in the back behind closed doors. read more

I took my dog to persmart for almost a year. On feb 1, 2023 I came by to pick up my dog. I saw he was on the grooming table and did not want to go inside. Outside the grooming salon were tow employees talking, Tindra and Dominique. I asked Tindra if she can perhaps check how long it will be for my dog to be ready. She informed me she is in a meeting, I was quite taken aback by it as they are in a public place where they can be approached by customers. I mentioned perhaps she should have the meeting in an office. She moved away and suddenly returned and told me she will get my dog and I am never to return to Petsmart in Fayetteville. My dog was not done grooming, she took my dog off the table gave me my invoice which I went to pay, upon returning with the receipt I asked her for a leash as I came with a different car and did not have his leash with me. She told me that if she needs an office I should bring my own leash. She opened the door and my dog ran out as he had to go and relieve himself. This is a terrible way to treat customers. Spoke to Mary the duty manager who told me there is nothing she can do. Not much leadership in this store. Please do not take your dog to persmart in Fayetteville. read more

This is probably THE WORST PETSMART EVER!! So I make an appointment for my two dogs Friday evening, one appt at 11a and the other at 1130a. I drop them off at 1030 as I always arrive early, because my previous experience when I came 5 min late my dog was skipped. So as I'm being checked in, the young girl tells Yolanda this is your dog, and Yolanda comes to the front, no hello or anything, but I don't take it personally. So she repeats 3 times that I'm early. Each time I explain to her, that my min pin has an appointment at 11a so I brought both of them at the same time. So she enters the vaccination information into the computer and ask for Juicee's. I tell her it's the second attachment, which she says it's for Missy. So I apologize and says well the vet probably sent Missy's twice. Myself and the young lady at the beginning that I mentioned, try calling the vet to no avail, so I tell them I will bring Juicee back and leave Missy. So it's 230pm, I haven't heard from PetSmart so I decide to head straight there from Northside Hospital instead of going home first. I go into the grooming section at about 255pm and say "I'm here to pickup Missy". The gentleman standing at the first table, which his name was Andrew, yells to all the groomer "who had missy, is Missy ready". Then he asks what's the last name, and I say "Woodard". So he asks again out loud, who had Missy Wand, then he says, I could just look in the system. Not once did Yolanda speak up and say that was originally assigned to her, as she is doing her afternoon appointment. So Andrew looks in the system and says I see a Missy but not under Wand, so I calmly say her last name is Woodard, she's written on the board right there for appointments, where is my dog? So at this point, Noone seems to care. I ask again, could someone please locate my dog. She was dropped off at 1030am to Yolanda. They tell me at 310pm, she was never checked in. Now imagine dropping your child off at daycare at 1030a, you get back at 3p and they say your child isn't there and the one that checked them in is remaining SILENT. So I ask to speak to the manager and the same rude guy that I have been asking why my dog hasn't been checked in, proceeds to go head to head with me the CUSTOMER, WHEN CLEARLY THEY ARE DEAD WRONG. So they bring my dog out and my dog has feces on her. Wait hold up what.... So my dog been here 5 hours and looks worst then what I brought her here. Okay, so I'm mad now. "Why does my fucking dog have shit on her and hasn't been checked in". Andrew who claims to be the manager, instead of accepting responsibility that they dropped the ball curses at me. So I asked to speak to the manager, this is Katie. She's no better in management then Andrew, she asks me when telling her what had transpired from 1030am, did you curse at him first.... are you f*n serious?!?!?! Not ONE TIME DID EITHER MANAGER APOLOGIZE. I asked for my dog 5 times before calling the police to have them come in and get my dog, because Katie and Andrew would not release my dog to me, and wanted to go back and forth with me the customer when they were wrong!!!! I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS OR ANY OTHER PETSMART TO ANYONE. Their overpriced, my dog went to training and still is not trained and then this is how management acts. Corporate will be hearing from me on Monday morning since they're closed on the weekends which is just pathetic as well! read more

I have lived in Fayetteville GA for quite a while. And when I first started going to this particular Petsmart service was excellent however from 2014 until now 2017. The service of gone completely downhill for just the store this is not including the groomer or vet.The store manager got into a verbal argument with me call my husband and my 13-year-old son liars and none of the staff knows as much as we do about the particular animals are purchasing. Only one or two the staff members are actually helpful and nice the store managers particularly an elderly blonde lady is quite horrendous to do it. If you intend to go to Petsmart I suggest you drive a little further into the Peachtree city one excellent customer service knowledgeable staff. read more

I took my fur baby in for a Pawdicure and wasted my money. My willie(my pet) was supposed to get his ears flushed cleaned and his nails trimmed. Part of the package was for my Willie to have cologne spritz sprayed and also a bandana to be given. One ear was left dirty and the cologne and the bandana were not used/given either. read more

I wish i had checked the reviews before making my appt for my dog. He had a 12 o'clock appt. with the groomer, Dorcas. We went in, and she took all the collars off my dog and the leash and handed everything to me and put another leash on him and took him to the back. Not once did she ask me my name or the name of my dog, she was just moving so fast. Then she started asking me questions for the check in, when she got to the part about whether or not my dog was pregnant, I knew she had the wrong person. She rattled off some phone number for me to be reached at and I calmly asked her who she thought I was. She said "Isn't your name Michelle?" I said no. She said, "So you're dog isn't named Jazz?" Obviously not. She then looked around and asked the other 2 groomers present how to uncheck a dog in. I wanted to ask for another groomer, but from the look of the other two I didn't think it would make a difference. One of the other groomers was cutting the hair of another dog when I walked in and it was so uneven when she finished i couldn't believe it. Then it was, okay we'll call you at 4 o'clock when your dog is ready. I was like, "don't you need to see his vaccination records?" This is another groomer since Dorcas had already disappeared. She's like, "oh yeah, thanks." Who ARE these people? So I go to pick up my dog and honestly, Skeeter looked the same as when I dropped him off, smelled the same too. He's still shedding hair. I think they just sprayed him with dog cologne and kept him for 4 hours. I paid for a special shampoo bath for him because he has allergies, but i have no way of proving he didn't get it. I will never use this groomer again. Honestly, I think i'm just going to get my supplies from somewhere else. I thought it was great that Petsmart was right up the street from me, but it's turning out that the customer service is rather awful. read more

If i could give 0 stars for this i would. I brought my dog in at 3:00 pm for a grooming appointment and was not told how long it would take. They didn't even ask me how i wanted my dogs haircut. Two and a half hours later i went in to check on my dog as other PetSmarts that i have taken my dog too was always done within two hours. I continued to get screamed at and said it could take five hours for my dog to get groomed. I was told there was another dog in front of my dog waiting to get groomed so i asked if my dog was even started on yet. They said he was already cut, bathed, and almost done drying and would be another hour till he was finished. An hour later i went in again to check and he was finally getting cut! Why would they give my dog a bath and dry him when it was all going to get shaved off? It would have been different if i was told how long it would be but no one communicated that with me. The customer service here is absolutely terrible. read more

I took my puppy to this location after having a disaster at another location. I wanted to try the location in Fayetteville thinking since the area is a great area the service wd be also.....Boy was I WRONG.... I was very specific on how my pups hair was to be trimmed as opposed to cut, I even brought in a pic and they still managed to eff it up. His hair looked awful. They didn't clean his ears nor did they grind his nails properly and I payed $67 for the upgraded service. My dog has been scratching & sneezing since we left and I requested hypoallergenic products to be used. They don't care about ur dog, it's like they are assembly workers. The groomers are in experienced in knowing how to properly cut or scissor cut. Don't waste ur time or money. read more

Overall, I love this store. The cashiers are always super friendly and helpful. I took my dog to an obedience class here and the trainer was great. They have a wonderful selection of toys, treats, and all the other stuff I need for my dog, This review is not about the store in general, just the groomers Their groomers are rude, incompetent to the point of being dangerous, and overpriced. Since I had been patronizing the store since it opened, it seemed like the natural choice to take my cocker there shortly after I adopted her from a rescue group. I had never owned a dog that needed professional grooming before and foolishly assumed that since the store is great, the groomers would be as well. I could not have been more wrong. My dog was stressed out when I went to pick her up so I took her home quickly without really inspecting the work. When I got my dog home she wouldn't stop whining, pawing at her ears, and licking her stomach. When I looked at her stomach I noticed a large, bright red spot. I took her back to Petsmart and the groomer casually said that the clippers must have gotten too hot and burned my dog. The Petsmart vet said the burn was bad enough to require treatment. By this point I had also noticed that my dog still had some matts in her fur despite the grooming staff promising to get rid of them. Also- and I know this sounds very silly- before her grooming appointment my dog had gorgeous,very long eyelashes, the groomers had cut the eyelashes on one eye incredibly short and the other looked like it had been attacked by a drunk with a pair of dull scissors and no idea what a straight line is. I have no idea why they cut her eyelashes, I didn't ask them to and it isn't standard grooming. So I told the groomer that I was unhappy since they had both actually injured my dog and failed to groom her properly and asked for at least a partial refund to cover the cost of treating the burn. She actually screamed at me and refused. So I went to the general manager and he also refused, but offered to show me aisle where I could buy pain relievers for my dog to ease the discomfort of the injuries his staff had inflicted. He also said that the groomer who had worked on my dog was their most experienced groomer which just makes the whole experience more troubling because I have since learned that any groomer with half a brain knows to check the clippers periodically during a groom to see if they are getting too hot. read more

Had a great experience at the pet salon. Miss Raven did my collie and he looked wonderful. She did the best job trimming him and giving him a fade around his face that still showed he was a collie. We wanted a short cut because of the summer heat but most tech's leave my baby looking like a lion with a wide barely trimmed ruff. Miss Raven also has a good way with my dog. I came back as she was trimming his nails. He stood patiently while she did it. A previous tech said my dog was difficult to work with and that was why he nicked him. I guess it's all the the approach and dedication to the job because my collie was perfectly behaved according to Miss Raven. If you want a well groomed dog, Miss Raven is the tech to use. read more

I've been taking my rescue Shih Tzu to the same groomer at Fayetteville Ga grooming salon for several yrs and they did okay. The last time I took my pup there she shaved his ears without my permission. I was shocked when I picked him up. The groomer claimed they were matted. That is NOT true. I brush my pup every single day.. She kept telling me they were matted...not so. She might as well have called me a liar. The groomer owes me an apology, but I don't expect to get one. I will NEVER take my pup there again. read more
