I took my dog in to be groomed. He was neutered recently and the staff was not comfortable as it appeared he was not fully healed. Kudos to them for not wanting to attempt to groom him as he was not fully healed. This showed me that they care about the pets they service. read more

I've been taking my dog to different independent groomers for 9 years now and the service has always been fine. After taking her to this petsmart location, I saw just how much more the last places COULD have been doing regarding love and care for my dog. Had I been a stranger in that salon, I would have thought my 55 lb pitbull was actually owned by Ashley. She cared for my dog as if it were her own and Bear felt so safe and secure around her that it's a no-brainer that I will request her every time I return. read more

Terrible customer service. I went to get my dogs nails trimmed and he was very frightened with the process. The lady with tattoos all down her arms looked very sad as if she didn't want to be at work at all. She touched my dogs nails and he cried, being frightened with the process, she then turned around and stated "yeah that's going to be a no". She couldn't even look at me. Had dog groomed there about 4 t. attempted to make another appointment online and couldn't. called and found out they lock me out of my account because notes were put in the system that my 12 pound terrier was difficult to cut because he's a "mover". Had numerous opportunities to tell me that when I picked him up. Very rude when I called and Vague. What level of grooming skills do they have. This is the only pet store I can find my cats favorite treats, and they are just Purina soft chews, but I've been to no less then 6 others pet stores and nobody else has them.They always seem to have enough cashiers to keep everyone moving and the employees are all friendly and helpful. The only real negative was the large amount of calls I got. It was pretty annoying, even to remind me to bring proof of rabies but my dog had it less than 3 years ago and didn't need it when I checked in. Also it was longer than 3 hrs for a 7lb dog. Liz C is awesome. Her report card was good, her attn to detail, how she greeted Jack and I. My boy Hurley has been going to the same groomer at another store for years. His groomer went on maternity leave forever! So was forced to find another groomer. Tried a few but was not happy with results until a neighbor recommended Jessica at Petsmart on 6 Mile Cypress. I need to start off by saying I booked his apt online and apparently it did not go through so there was no record of the apt. I showed up and instead of rescheduling me Jessica graciously fit me in. I could not be happier! I can see his cute face and he can see mine- she got all the hair out of his eyes and he is as happy as he can be. I got my cute boy back (and he smells like he just came out if the oven with a fresh batch of baked cookies) ! He feels so much better- thank you Jessica! This review is about Petsmart on 6 Mile Cypress, Fort Myers, FL. I wish I could give 'PETSTUPID' no stars. I brought him in for a bath and a nail clip if necessary. When I walked in before he was ready, I heard a dog squealing and barking. I know my dog's sounds. They insisted it was not him. He was racing to get out and when we got home his jaw was quivering like crazy. I've never seen him do that before. I knew something was really wrong. He was licking his paws and when I tried to see what was wrong, he pulled away. When I finally got to see his nails, Vivian, who cut his nails, mangled them. While we were still in the store she asked another groomer "Is this ok?!" about one of his paws. I saw what happened when we got home. Some were cut to the quick and others looked like they were chopped at and not filed down. I called to let them know what she had done and they wanted me to bring him back into the store for them to see what happened. What? So they could do more damage?!! NEVER! I think it's about time Petsmart upper management look into all of the negative reviews and do something about it. Don't they have enough lawsuits on their hands? I wish I could post a picture of the damage but he won't let me touch his paws. read more

This is about the Grooming Department only.... Took my babies there on 12/23, they had appointments with Harlea. I paid $154.00 for some very crappy haircuts! Yes, I know, why didn't I noticed it while I was there? I was distracted by their behavior, they wanted to leave. My husband called today and spoke with Mike, The only way he would make it right is to let the same girl cut their hair again.... HELL NO! He finally agreed to let someone else cut their hair this Saturday, but my heart says it's a horrible idea and I just can't do that to my babies. I wish I could get a credit for another store that I know will take care of my babies while they are there. I don't know if Harlea is new or what, but there are so many chunks missing that didn't get shaved. read more

If you care about pets DO NOT GO HERE. I was just in this store for the first time buying a couple small fishes for my daughter and never going back. I was going to buy a 2.5 gallon tank for three very small fishes and the rude woman said I could not put the fishes in that tank that I needed a 5 gallon tank but they have around 15 or more fishes in a 5 gallon tank wish obviously do not make sense at all. I told her we wanted it anyways and she super rudely went in the tank with the net and pulled it so fast and rudely that one fish fell on the floor and she DID NOT even bother to pick it up and left it to die. All this in front of a 4 year old that kept saying the poor fishy was going to die and she did not care. I really wish I had took a picture of this which is totally wrong and against taking care of animals. I don't think this store has prepared employees to work with animals neither with customers. read more

Every time i go here I am LOST, but i always find one of the cashiers to help me. They are so knowledgeable and always help me get the best prices and the best deals with the "puppy guide" both times i went it was in my favor to purchase the puppy guide they weren't hesitant in sharing what coupons were inside. Super friendly staff although there location doesn't have a Banfield they guided me to the one that did and i made my first puppy appointment. I think one of the "female" cashiers may be a manager or supervisor and she super super friendly i am new to the puppy world but they def make it easy. So far my favorite location to visit with my kids and new puppy. read more

I wanted my dog lion cut, and the groomer basically just shaved her head - and didn't even do a good job of that! It looks like a bad haircut from a British movie from the 90's. Just a horrible cut. You can see where the groomer actually shaved part if his ear on top. Also, his hind legs & rear look like they weren't even groomed. He still had a knot on the feathers on his ear, and instead of the groomer fixing it, she gave the brush to the store manager to try and get it out. The store manager told me she didn't have grooming experience. When I asked the groomer to take him & try to blend his hair in, she told me I would have to go back another day because she didn't have the time any longer. Took my Very badly matted Cavalier King Spaniel Mix to Christa to be groomed. She did a fantastic job and the cost was very reasonable. I am taking my other dog next week . I went to this Pet Smart to get my dog groomed. His hair came out decent and they added more extra fees. Supposedly they charge $3 more on the weekends and the lady used a $7 shampoo on my dog without calling me before to agree with the extra charges. If they would have called before it would have been fine, but apparently they don't care about the client approving it first. read more

My fiance and I went here and bought four guppies. They were on sale for $1 each. The day after we brought them home one died. Then the next day another died. Today the last two died! Shop here occasionally. Went to get some litter that I thought was on sale for 11.99 The sign above the litter said that it was 11.99. I brought it up to the cashier and she rung it up for 14.99. I said the sign read 11.99 for this particular litter which I normally don't buy but decided to because of the price. She sent a young guy back to see and he came back with the sign in his hand and said oh this is no longer on sale we just forgot to take the sign down. They refused to sell this to me for the price on the shelf which is against the law. Anyway decided to complain. For two lousy dollars they have an angry customer who's complaining. they both seemed outdone with me as well and after ringing up the sale said "Come on let's get out of here." I think from now on I'll go the extra miles to Petco and pay a little more to be treated with respect and as if they care whether I shop there or not! read more
