This location doesn't have the friendliest staff. I have been here in 3 separate occasions and still always the same. I did not purchase the other 2 times I could not deal with the employees. They are focused on their tasks. They may answer a question but not suggest or even walk you to the item. It's very different from the other locations I've shopped. Not sure if I'll return. I would hope this location would be better with custom service. Shelves were empty and parking lot was as well. The lady mentioned today was a slow day- I'm yeah I see why.... I had to but Apple bitters spray for my puppy who's loving to chew my baseboards.. Ahhhh Well this product is not working for my dog! I'll need to find something else online.

I'm here for Jessie only. She's sweet, consistent and my pup likes her too. I like to book 6mos out to guarantee a spot because she's very popular!

I have added pictures of my texts as it won't let me add my whole review but it needs to be known what is going on there. I have added pictures of some of the fish I have rescued from there. Mojo jojo is doing so much better! He's swimming great and comes up to me when he heard me walking over by his tank and comes and says hello and that right there makes it worth it. He even feeds from my tongs now! I use to have to set it his beta leaf for him to eat! Such an amazing improvement. I'm still waiting for corporate to contact me. I will be calling normal customer service tomorrow. Also, on one of my betta feeds I saw some purchase 19 of them and then resells them in their pet shops and those employees are completely aware of that but yet I can't purchase multiple on over 3 months span. This is ridiculous and I hope it's corrected.

I am very disappointed with the grooming of this petsmart store. today my dog had the first and the last bath in this store. I left her at 2:30 pm and she was only ready at 5 pm. 2:30 hr to give a bath seems like a long time beyond what is necessary. but the worst was not the waiting time, when I picked it up she was very wet!! The neck it was super wet and in the back were still several areas that were also not very dry. Not drying a dog properly due to skin problems, this is the most essential part of the post bath. In additional she wasn't smelling good, not even a fragrance. Very disappointed.

Shout out to Chloe for taking the best care of my little dude and making him as handsome as ever. They were super busy on Sunday and she still managed to get him looking his best and stayed late. I appreciate you Chloe and we'll be back in about 6 wks. thanks for the care!!

My Hamster wrapped up after he passed away

I got a hamster from here only 11 months ago, I was told he was roughly 3 months old when I adopted him and he seemed healthy and happy. I bought many things for him off of Amazon and Etsy since PetSmart doesn't have proper hamster cages, wheels, or hides. He was very happy and lived a good life in his large wooden cage with plenty of enrichment and homemade food. Today he passed away rather quickly, I came home only a few days ago to him constipated and his belly swollen, so I gave him fruits and veggies to help pass it and called the vet. The vet could only take him in for $200 and I couldn't afford it, they told me from his symptoms and how fats he was declining that he likely had worms or liver problems. He was quickly dehydrated and lethargic to the point he was still breathing but wasn't moving, then he passed away. I believe I gave him a great life and all the things he could ever wish for an more, he trusted me and he was happy. But in all, don't buy pets PetSmart or places like it. They breed for quantity and not quality, and most of their animals only live for a short time due to health issues they're bred with. Chain stores like this one have plenty of workers that I know care for the animals but the store itself is the issue. Please look to buy from licensed breeders if you are looking for a hamster, Guinea pig, reptile etc. they will have a much healthier and long life if you do.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO BE GROOMED HERE!!! Groomer took out chunks of my dogs flesh!!!

We were SO thrilled with his progress that we booked our 11 year-old golden Komodo for a 4 session training program with Sami to teach him the same obedience, basic manners, loose-leash, and recall skills. I'm excited to report that Komodo graduated with flying colors yesterday and we also learned so much in the process! Thanks to Sami and K9 Command's balanced training, David and I learned the skills needed to effectively train our dogs and help them live their best lives! Yeti used to bark at everything. People, dogs, animals on tv, and more. His lunging and barking would scare people away, including our extended families. Komodo also started picking up Yeti's bad habits - not listening, leash tugging, and excessive barking. Nothing was working, and we became really limited in where we could go with the dogs and who we could be with. We've seriously done more together in these past few weeks since Yeti and Komodo's training than we have in all of Yeti's life! Now we take the dogs to restaurants and shops, our soccer games, hikes, paddle boarding, family events, and more! Our 6 year-old nephew used to be afraid of Yeti and all dogs in general. Today we brought the dogs to his birthday party, and he kept saying over and over "Yeti's so well trained!" He even enjoyed playing fetch with him and petting them both while they calmly sat in a room filled with tons of kids and activity! I can't tell you how many times people came up to us saying what "good boys" the dogs were as well. :) Sami, you are an incredible trainer and thank you, thank you, thank you, for truly changing our lives! We are so grateful!

It is worth acknowledging that Nitro makes use of prong and e-collars in their training method, and if you have concerns about these tools, I am happy to report there's nothing to be concerned about. I have witnessed my dog gaze up lovingly and with attention at Steve while under his guidance on a prong collar; you could feel the genuine connection between trainer and dog. This kind of experience was enough for me to put any concerns I had aside and welcome the training. It's also worth noting that Steve himself can be a bit of a personality, unafraid to speak his mind and get into a range of discussion topics. Underneath the personality is a genuine human, who wants nothing more than for dogs to receive the training that will most help them get along inside the home and the world. We went on a Sunday afternoon because our dog got stung by a bee and was having an allergic reaction. They were very quick to help us, all of the vets and techs were warm and understanding, along with walking us through each step. The bill ended up being a lot cheaper than what we expected, and they gave us info about what we could get at a pet store for a lower price for follow up care. That was so appreciated! We've recommended them to all the pet parents we know in the area. Hopefully we won't need to visit them again, but if we do, we know our pet will be in great hands.

the last thing a pet owner wants ahead of a long weekend is a trip to the emergency vet; actually,…read moremost pet owners i know aren't excited about emergency vet visits at any time of year but when they happen and you want to make sure your fur baby is ok, you go, regardless of the costs involved. late last week i made the decision to take my dog in with an issue i've seen him have before but this time all my efforts didn't curb the symptoms and i decided i'd get a jump on what promised to be a full emergency waiting room ahead of fireworks and loud noises. the closest VEG location to me is in interbay but when i called they suggested i go to lynwood, federal way or redmond because they were already slammed. so up to lynnwood we went and when we walked in, i got an introduction into how differently VEG locations handle things. each pet/human is greeted and triaged. the open concept of seeing everyone working and every other patient out in the open may be different from what you're used to but it demystifies things for sure. you're not left wondering what's happening to your pet behind closed doors. and in an emergency when your cortisol levels may already be elevated this is most likely a welcome difference in protocol. we were ushered to an alcove with a couch and someone came over with a laptop to get details and reasons why we were there. minutes later a tech and vet arrived and we talked to them. she patiently listened and said she'd develop a plan for how to investigate what was going on and in retrospect i appreciated that she didn't go straight to imaging and other costly testing but decided to go the route of labs/biochemical diagnoses to rule things like pancreatitis out. once she left us, i got a text message with a quote and link to pre pay. having done that, we waited a bit longer and another pair of staff arrived to draw blood. we were told it would take about 30min for lab results. we waited, we watched the staff moving around to different patients with different needs levels. eventually the vet returned with lab results and recommendations before another tech came with discharge papers and a goodie bag of sample gastrointestinal foods. all told, we were there about two hours and i was highly impressed with the level of service and care we received. things were clean, the staff all seemed positive about the company they are employed by and they genuinely care about delivering a high standard of care to everyone who walked through the doors, human and animal. one thing i appreciated was that the vet mentioned that i could call or email with follow up questions and also mentioned that if we needed to return, we could go to the interbay location because all locations are connected and would have access to his file/treatments. yesterday we received a follow up text to check on him, also encouraging calls if we have questions. VEG seems to have emergency veterinary service and human customer service dialed in. it's hard to know who and where to go in an emergency but i'd carried the VEG name and number in my phone for years without having a need to use them; now i can say that i'd recommend them based on our experience this past weekend.
