Bought: 2, 10-gallon tanks from here, even lots of fishes, never had an issue. They would even let me climb the ladder to look at some of the fish; I wanted to get for my tank. Staff are awesome and helpful about each fish. Only issue is, they had a lot of birchir fish in with other fish, which isn't good for the other fish. Overall if you want cheap fish and a cheap fish tank, come here to get it. Just wish this place sold digital fish tank thermometers. read more

I do not recommend grooming at this PetSmart. I have a golden doodle and I know how hard it can be to groom them. I showed pictures of how my dog was previously groomed and when my dog came out, he looked nothing like what we talked about before. The groomer was not friendly and rushed us out the door when we were dropping my dog off. read more

Very poor customer service. First time coming to PetSmart because all the groomers around me were booked for months. Despite friends telling me not to take my puppy here, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. The minute you walk in the entire room just has a negative energy around it. Groomers were talking to each other making fun of other clients for complaining about their dog's haircuts. Once I picked up my puppy I wanted his face trimmed some more and groomers got defensive/hostile about it, went home and did it myself. They got the job done but I don't want my dog to potentially be treated the same way they treated me and other clients. Not coming back again. read more

The grooming services are not up to par. Stopped using them with my last dog. It just always seemed like there was an issue. And that dog was a perfectly behaved angel. Because my regular groomers were booked and my current dog was in desperate need of a haircut, I went ahead and booked this location. It was the only place with an opening. My dog is super excited to meet new people. It can be over the top. She wants to sniff and lick and gets mouthy. The groomer thought she was biting her. I said she doesn't bite. She's mouthy. There is a difference. Then she said she was covered in mattes. She had some small ones but this gal made it seem like it was insane. So in order to get her groomed I had to sign off on all these additional charges related to matting. The prices for this location are already much higher than petco or other places around here so I will not be going back. Do not use Petsmart for grooming. It hasn't changed over the years and I see other people posting bad grooming reviews to this day. Moreover the haircut they gave my dog isn't what I asked for. They made a big stink about closing at 6 and to be sure I'm back before they close. They weren't even done with my dog at 6 and we had to stay longer. When I finally saw her and said that's not what I asked for they acted surprised and asked if I wanted to wait even longer. They had already upcharged me as it was. read more

Way past time for me to update this review. This location is always well stocked and the employees are all very friendly and helpful. It is enjoyable to shop here as they often have items that aren't carried at other Petsmart stores. I frequently order online and pick up here and my order is always ready within an hour of the time I placed the order. Placing my order online is easy as the Petsmart website is easy to navigate and select the "Pick up in store" option. Then an email is sent to advise that the order is ready for pickup. This location always has a very large selection of fish, the aquariums are clean and the fish seem healthy and happy. read more

This place is not particularly interested in customer service or selling stuff now that stores are opening back up. I took my daughter in here after she had a rough day so that I could buy her 2 new fish for her little aquarium to cheer her up a little bit. We arrived at 630pm with the store set to close at 7pm. We knew what she wanted so we asked if someone could get us 2 fish. We were told we could not buy fish after 6pm due to Coronavirus. I looked around and there were 3 employees standing around the front door and we were literally the only customers in the store. No one was cleaning...no one was helping other customers. Just us and 3 employees who were in no mood to be helpful. I could understand if we said we need a bunch of fish, didn't know what we wanted, needed accessories, etc. But no, I told them we would like 2 fish and we knew what we wanted. Didn't matter. I ended up leaving with a very sad little girl whose day was made even worse because apparently buying a fish after 6pm in an empty store has some effect on the virus. If just one of those employees would have had a little sympathy or a tiny spec of customer service, they could have really brightened my daughter's day. It's pretty rare to find those kinds of employees nowdays though which is really sad. Needless to say, Petsmart can keep their fish. There are literally 5 other stores nearby that sell fish so we will be buying from someone else. read more

Whatever you do please do not come to this pet grooming place. The people are not friendly and they do not treat your pet nice. I have a Bichon and let me tell you how terrible of a job they did. They shaved my dog down and never even out her haircut. They told me because she wouldn't sit still they had to gave up. Never going back that's for sure. read more

Visited today to look at cats up for adoption and was helped by friendly staff members who escorted us to a cat greeting room where we spent time with multiple cats. We did not feel rushed at all, and we were able to get more information about the adoption process and background information on the cats. Overall a very nice experience and exceeded expectations for how a pet store might treat the occasional inquiry about cats for adoption. read more

I am not satisfied with their crickets ... it looks like they don't feed them or give them water I got crickets for my bearded dragon and with in two days half of them rotted and I feed them and water them and I got 10 dozen ... I usually get them at pet Supplies Plus and 10 dozen would last me 2 weeks but they were out beacuse delivery issues with the weather but never again buying crickets at pet smart very upset and plus I didn't have no good customers service read more

This is our 4th(?) trip to Petsmart groomers at the Noblesville location and love them and the store! The first visit was a live saver when original groomer canceled so petsmart took them both in together and 2 hours later they were beautifully groomed. Been taking them every few weeks to help them get used to grooming, people and dogs and groomers say they are getting better each time! I call to make an appointment in order to get them both in at the same time and haven't had a problem yet, usually get them in the next day or so at my preferred time! As a bonus when checking out the staff is super friendly when I have my hands full with food, puppies and coupons they always help me without asking with a smile and pleasant conversation. I also love Ellen Degeneres pet line sooooo cute!!!!!!! I drive an extra few miles to this location because of the staff. A smile does wonders, and goes both ways! They didn't even finish her nails because she was whining and "scared" I've gotten her nails done MULTIPLE times and she's been perfectly okay. They wouldn't even let me stay in the room with her. PetSmart is reasonably priced and has the products are all high quality. The employees are caring and knowledgeable and very helpful. Last time I was in, I got a silent spinner for my hamster as his old wheel was now too small (little dude out grew it), and the cashier who rang me out even made sure I had an appropriate cage for the wheel (even tho it was a specific brand, he said it wouldn't hook in to cages of the same brand. He didn't try to get me to buy a different cage or anything, he just wanted to make sure I had a cage the wheel would work with. He also had suggestions in case it wouldn't fit in mine.) read more

Groomers there act like they don't do this for a living... like they have never met a dog that is nervous their first time or one that doesn't like his nails getting done. Went in to get a hamster and all was going well, the nice lady helped me tremendously.. until she had to go help someone else with a cat and the manager came to help me instead. He literally tried to just have me buy the first hamster he showed me, was incredibly dismissive and even in a hushed voice into his walkie said "hurry up with that cat" as if he didn't even want to be helping me at all. Not to mention he was relatively rough with the poor hamster and really didn't seem to want to be there at all. I wanted my hamster buying experience to be informational and fun but he, the manager, ruined the whole experience. I wish I could have had the nice blonde lady stay with me and help me out instead, she was full of hamster information. I would give her 5 stars but my overall experience was a 1 star at best. read more

This review is for the grooming department. Holly (I think that's her name!) worked on my dogs but she was amazing. (She also took my appointment and answered all of my questions very thoroughly and patiently.) I brought my two dogs (maltese and maltese-poodle) here for a grooming before Thanksgiving. I was a little worried about my maltipoo because he is skittish with groomers...the last one I took him to said he was awful and tried to bite, which is completely out of character for him. So I warned her about that. When I picked them up they looked fabulous. She said my maltipoo was very sweet and easy to groom, which was a relief and indicated to me they are very good with dogs and definitely know their stuff.They were very thorough with the groomings...nails done, hair done, everything did :-) Will definitely be returning when I'm back in town. read more

Brought my dog in for a bath, haircut and nail trim. She's 13 and a lab. She's scared of the dryer. They called an hour and a half after I dropped her off to say that my dog was "too stressed out" to cut her hair or her nails. When I assured them that she is scared of the dryer, but LOVES having her hair cut...they still refused to groom her. Apparently, my 13 year relationship with my dog does not matter and the groomer (in training) knows more about my dog than I do. Customer lost. read more

I would not recommend petsmart to anyone! We have taken our dog to be groomed at two different locations and they shaved him both times. He was not matted and we were very clear we wanted his hair long. All the dogs leaving were shaved and we think that's what they do to save time. I am very disappointed as they have evening hours. I've been using this PetSmart for the last 7 years for the grooming of my dogs. This was the first time I have ever encountered such bad service. What normally takes 2 1/2 hours took over 4 hours. I was never notified of any delays. So when I show up at the designated pick up time my dog is still getting groomed. To be more specific my dog was left on the table unattended. The other co workers had to go look for the groomer assigned to my dog. Totally unprofessional and when confronting the manager I was told "this was standard operating procedures and we do nothing that another groomer wouldn't do." I do not have a large dog, he is a 12 lbs mix breed. So it is ridiculous for them to be this slow. Finally was fed up at this point and rescued my dog. I will not be returning here. Especially after the manager failure to acknowledge any wrong doing or even apologizing. If you take your dog here stick around and observe. Like I mentioned previously I have been here many times. I'm not sure what cause such a downfall of this location. read more

I took my 4 month old puppy in for a first time grooming. The girl that groomed him wasn't that friendly when I checked him in. When I picked him up she didn't even come out to talk to me. I wanted to know how he did since it was his first time. She had someone else bring him out who barely said a word. They did not apologize or were even polite about it. Then told me that I would need to reschedule and they didn't have anything else available until Monday. 3 days later!! First of all I would like to say that this is not our first time bringing one our fur babies to be groomed at this location. It is the first time that I have been so disappointed that I had to say something however. My dogs had an appointment scheduled for 1:00 on a Tuesday. He even worked from home that day so he could bring them in. Then less then an hour before we were supposed to be there they called him and told him that they wouldn't be able to do it because the groomer that was supposed to do it went on maternity leave. Really?! Like this wouldn't be something they knew about only minutes before my husband would be leaving to bring them? He explained that it was a total inconvenience to us to have to bring them in another day because the dogs are too much to handle for me (his wife.) They assured him that they would be able to do it on Thursday that same week and we would receive a discount for our troubles. OH BOY!!!!! Thursday came and sure enough.. my dogs were too much for me to handle! From one of them jamming themselves under the steering wheel to rolling down the window all the way and almost jumping out of the car! We finally get there and they knocked me down not once but twice! I was frazzled by the time I checked them in and didn't even think to ask what they were charging me.. BAD MOVE!! When 5:00 rolled around I called them to see if they were done. Yes they were! Great!! So I grab a couple of my kids for backup and we went to go pick them up. They looked great!! BUT, I was charged $182.00?! Wtf.. really?! So needless to say we won't be back.. which really sucks for them because we are regular customers. read more

Absolutely horrible. The store manager Cynthia has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I get my prescription cat food there. I had the script faxed over probably over 6 months ago, never an issue, and they always price match my vet. Last night I was asked for my script card, I had no idea what they were talking about. I was told to go to banfield and get one. They then informed me they don't keep them on file (what??) so we called the vet, no problem. I then went up front after being frustrated for the lack of consistency. I asked for a price match of $20 and she said no. Show me a tag. I've never seen a tag on pet food before. I asked if I could show her the ereceipt on my phone where I've gotten that price for over the last 6 months and she kept saying no no I need a tag. I then said ok since you're not allowed to do $20 without it can we meet in the middle at $10? She said nope. I said so let's get this straight, you CAN but you won't? Is that correct? She then gave me a smirk and said have a good night ma'am. This was after 25 minute ordeal and her arguing that they're always cheaper than vets. Absolutely NOT correct. First, let me say I 100% understand company policy. I get that. I'm not upset that things were done differently than before, maybe I was lucky those other times. Im a sensible person. What I am NOT ok with is being belittled in front of a store with other customers and employees near by. My food was on a different counter, not even the one I paid at, it was an 18lb bag and no one even handed it to me. I had to grab it myself. I'm absolutely mind blown that after I called and spoke to Craig (who was amazing) that I was notified she's who runs the store there. If you don't enjoy working with people then do not work in retail. I do not think that it is ok to treat someone so rudely. Again, I understand policy. I have always loved my local petsmart and found the people to be understanding and helpful, but in early January I was recommended to buy a gentle leader for my young, 50 lbs pit-mix. I had explained to the employee that my dog had previous ripped his gentle leader and I was struggling to train him on how to walk properly. The employee recommended I should get another gentle leader assuring me it would work this time. I bought the gentle leader only to have it destroyed three hours later trying to walk my dog around the block. The store will not give me my money back despite it being their employee's recommendation that I buy this product. As I understand that the store is supposed to be helping to train young dogs and their owners, it irritates me that I was so misguided and the store won't refund me. I hope this issue can be resolved, but until then I guess me and an energetic pit are stuck inside. read more

walking into this place is feels like you are walking into a prison, its very dark in most areas of the store & they are out of stock of a lot of popular items most of the time. the cats from the rescue in the back are sitting in dark suites huddled in corners, i feel so bad for them having to live in a room with the same lighting as a port o potty.their fish department is especially lacking, they are out of almost all chlorine removing chemicals & medications, as well as the water testing materials, i have even come back a few weeks later with none of the stock over there being replenished, in my opinion this store should also not be allowed to carry live fish since none of the employees seem to know how to properly care for them, found MULTIPLE dead fish in tanks(some were rotting or being eaten by other fish) & the tabks with the dead fish were actually hidden by a large movable ladder/stairs that i assume someone put there so they wouldnt have to clean the tanks, i have pretty bad social anxiety so i am not the type of person who usually goes up to a store employee that i dont know & complains but having dead animals in tanks was just unacceptable to me, i brought it up to a few employees that were standing there staring at the tanks & they said they would "take care of it", come 30 minutes later when ive found what i needed and am about to leave, dead fish are still there decaying in tanks & making more waste for already crowded tanks, & dont even get me started on the betta section where they were all in dirty cold cups & more than half had fin rot & looked close to death, will not be returning to this store for any future purchases read more
