We have tried a few other groomers, but their work just didn't meet our expectations. When I went to pay for the services and asked about management of the grooming facility, the cashier seemed offended by my question. Kelly M is the best groomer in Omaha. She loves dogs and takes the time to ask enough questions to know exactly what your expectations are. She is meticulous in her care and gives my cockapoo (who has very thick and curly hair) a great cut. My dog also has sensitive skin so she's very careful with her scissors to keep his skin safe. My dog is 11 and we won't go anywhere else. He loves Kelly and so do we! read more

I called Petsmart on Friday to schedule an appointment. They mentioned that I would need my rabies up-to-date. So I told the gal that if she could set my appointment for 1230 so that I could take the dogs in in the morning and get the rabies shot updated. So I showed up at 12:30 with the dogs and the rabies updated. She started asking a few questions and asked me if I had gotten any shots for the dogs in the last 48 hours So I looked at the Lady and told her yes. She didn't paused and said that she could not be that the dogs. I asked her why. She said that policy that they could not touch dogs if they had been vaccinated within 48 hours I told her that I had told him that I was going to be getting the shots today of the bath so why didn't they tell me then and they had to take time off work to bring these guys in. I am to Saint Bernards and they're not easy to move around. They get very stressed out in car rides. Disc lately completely threw a curveball at her day last time of work, my dogs are completely stressed out in the back of the car. Took my dogs in (tiny sweet and shy maltipoos) and the groomer was a total brat. Said she hated cutting my dogs hair and we told her we wanted a Christmas special which was not the case. Horrible customer service (she also said 7 others that day told her that too and she was annoyed! *customers don't need to know you have misunderstanding with a bunch of other customers*) Also told manager would call us and never did. I will never go back! We had an appointment for 11:30 and they were not done till 3:30! When we came back to get him, the floor seemed to have a foot of fur on it. I saw our dog and the lady looked like she was not paying attention and was doing a half attempted job. They did a lousy job, we had to trim the hair around his face when we got him home. They nicked him in the leg. He had the runs for four days after that! He was sick and we were very concerned. On top of all of that, they charged $50.00! We recently rescued a Miki that was in dire need of grooming. Took a chance Memorial Day weekend on getting her in for grooming. Maddie first of all talked with us about what we wanted as an outcome and then honestly and gently explained that she would do her best to meet our expectations. However, Linda was heavily matted. Maddie suggested a few things and we were on our way. An hour later, we received a call from Maddie that our new princess was ready to be revealed. Linda looked so cute! Maddie did end up shaving her but Maddie also added her own special touch by giving Linda the CUTEST little lion tail! Linda looks and feels ADORABLE and we have found a permanent groomer for both Linda and her best friend Chester : ) The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the PetSmart pricing. At least have a frequent user card. I have two dogs and at $50 each and no frequent buyer reward it is tempting to use other establishments that have lower costs or that have a frequent user card. read more

Ladies were loving and took good care of my greyhound I mean I was nervous to let him go alone and be by himself. I will say they handled him very well and I will recommend them I went to rose she was very explaining and told me things that she would recommend as I don't really groom my dog often which I know I should she didn't try to push anything onto me but was able to explain how often I need to come in and have my dogs nails trimmed. I went to meet the cats because I was looking to adopt however, I was not able to because I came after adoption hours so I talked to one of the employees and she told me I can come meet the cats tomorrow during the adoption hours. I showed up the next day asking to meet the cats and they rudely told me I needed to fill out an application and on the wall it said that the application would be confirmed within 30 mins. So I filled it out and waited. and waited. and waited. The application took awhile so I decided to message the lady who's phone number was posted under the application website. I told her I was wiling to adopt today and asked how long it would be until my application would be approved (wall said less than 30 mins) and she told me "The employees don't have time to let you play with the kittens today" very bad customer service as I was there during the adoption hours. So I scheduled my dog for a grooming appointment at 11am. I checked in right at 11 and they said they would call me when they were done with him. It is currently 1:40pm as I'm typing this review about this god awful company after I just called to check in and see if they were done and this was the response I got.. "well there was a dog in front of yours and I just got done with him so I haven't even begun to look at your dog yet." Okay so why the f*ck are they even scheduling appointments if there is no time table or any sort of organization for getting pets in and out. Wouldn't recommend. Oh and this is also the third time I've had to schedule my dog with them because the first two times the workers had to "reschedule" for reasons they wouldn't tell me? took my dog in for a few nights stay at PetsHotel in the Petsmart in West Omaha on Maple Road, because we had to go out of town. I booked it online which gave me the rate of $27/night. Ended up totaling $81 for three nights, plus their promotion if it's your dog's first time there you get one night free which will make it $54. When I picked her up a few days later when we came back, they charged me $79 with the one night free. I asked the girl at the desk why it was so much, she stated that it was because we picked her up after 12:00 pm so that an extra $16. Now, before I dropped my dog off I called them and told them I was going to pick her up at 5pm. Even on my reservation I put pick up time to be 5pm, there was no extra charge. When I dropped her off, I even told the person at the desk I was going to pick her up at 5pm, no one said a thing about an extra $16 charge. I showed the girl my reservation and she said the online price is $27 but their store price is $29 a night plus the $16. I wasn't going to pay a different price. I ask for a manager. A manager came over, looked at it and gave me $6 off and walked off. I said wait why am I still paying $73, I don't understand. I showed him my reservation and said this is my reservation for three nights totaling $81 with the one night free it should've been $54. He looked at it and said there's nothing here about the one free night. I told him no there's not, it's on your website. He looked at my reservation and finally change the amount due to $54 and left without saying a word. I paid it, took my dog and left. This whole ordeal lasted about 15-20 minutes. I will not board my dog at petsmart again. The girl didn't want to honor the price I got from their website for my reservation. The manager did not want to honor the price i got but because I insisted and demanded an answer he finally honored the price. It was bad customer service. oh and my wife checked their website, there was nothing saying that there will be an extra charge for picking up after 12pm. read more

I took my dog to this PetSmart. They were horrible to the other dogs. One girl was jerking this little terrier's face around complaining that he was "a bad dog" when the dog wasn't doing anything at all! Actually, he was quite obedient despite that he looked terrified! Other employees were yanking dogs heads up in nooses and leaving dogs unattended on tables. That should have been my first sign and I should have walked out. 6 hrs later they call me to get my dog... said he couldn't be groomed. He's been groomed all his life and is a 4 1/2 year old 15 lb long hair Chiweenie. After 6 hours they were just finally giving him a bath. When I rushed to pick him up, he was sopping wet, shaking uncontrollably, vomiting all over, horrible bloodshot eyes, and constantly whincing and whimpering, which he has NEVER done in his life. Took him to Gentle Animal Vet and they showed me the bruises all over his jaw and neck and dislocated hip bone. Don't know if it was done by human hands, neck rope or falling off of something, or all of the above. It was horrible. They need to be shut down. No one should ever take their dog there. I will never shop PetSmart again because of the grooming employees and their management at this location. read more

Your staff was rude and uncooperative then couldn't figure out that our golden was so trained to go outside that he wouldn't go #2 in your facility and that the solution was to take him outside...it took the vet to figure that out. Scheduled a grooming appointment over the phone for my parents dog while they were on vacation, four days ahead of time. The gal on the phone said that I would just need to call back and let them know which vet he saw so they could call and get a copy of his vaccinations faxed over. I called back with the info the same day. Today, when we arrived for his appointment, 10 minutes before the scheduled time, they told us they couldn't find the appointment. So they asked me to check my call log to make sure it was their number I called, indeed it was! Then they looked through their folder containing all their shot records that they had received from the vet. They found our dogs records from the vet, written on it was the date and time of his appointment time. The best they could do is get him in in a couple more days. Then they said that it must have been a "glitch!" Of course! Not a good customer experience Petsmart! We will not be returning! read more
