First, this place is apparently under new management. Your dog no longer gets a suite. They are put into metal crates. My dog was there for 3 days and came home with a rash on her body, a sore in her eye, was throwing up throughout her first 2 days home. When I made the appointment for her to stay there I was not advised that the rooms had changed. Additionally, the staff seemed bothered when I would call. I will never take my dog here again. Do not trust there website when it comes to the treatment, where your pet will sleep or how they will be treated. read more

These guys are great. They've taken great care of our three dogs, it's near our home and they always seem to be able to accommodate last minute needs. I also very much appreciate the "spend all day" attitude to their grooming. Most places are an "in-and-out" affair that expects you to drop everything and rush to pick up your pet after they call to say they're done. Not at Park Your Paws...once they call, it's "take your time" since the dogs can hang out and play with other dogs. I can't give them a perfect score yet, cuz there have been a couple times where I wasn't totally happy with the groom a couple of my dogs received (Cavalier Spaniels can look like puff balls if it isn't done right.) But on other times, they've nailed it. SO, I say give them a try, be specific with what you want, and enjoy your day. read more

I brought my 16 week year old pup and they took such good care of her! She came home sleepy and happy. They fed her, and she even had some downtime to nap. I really appreciate everything they do and I can't wait to take my Nebula back! This review is for the grooming part of the business - I would give it 1 star except for my pup enjoyed his time at the doggie daycare part in past visits, it's just the grooming that could use some help. Dropped off my dog at 8am the day after Christmas, and they said it would take approx 4 hours. Seems long, but maybe they have multiple dogs in waiting. Direction I gave them: clean up all of his fluff, but leave his ears long. I told them he had gotten poo in his tail because it was so long, so I wanted all the sprigs around his legs and tail and sides cleaned up. By 12:30, I hadn't heard from them...so I called. 5 times before someone answered, who just said "nope, his papers haven't come up front yet and that means he's not done". Ummm, ok. I explained that I had plans at 2, she said "oh, he'll be done before then." Which wasn't my point, he needed to be done around noon...not 2. She called back shortly thereafter around 1, and I went right away to pick him up. Luckily I work from home, otherwise I don't know what I would have done. You have to pay at the front desk before you see your dog, so I paid $60. I think that included a tooth brushing and nail trim too. Anyway, they walk him out and it literally looked like they buzzed him straight from the top of the head to his butt -- but NOTHING else was trimmed or cut. She just kept saying how good he smelled, and I was speechless. THAT took 5 hours?! Since I was in a hurry, I rushed him out without confronting them or having them fix it. Plus, I'm not awesome at confrontation in the moment in situations where I already paid and needed to get going. Maybe a Yelp review isn't the right forum, but in past similar situations -- businesses get defensive and just don't plain apologize like I believe they should. Feel free to go here for your doggie daycare needs, but I would be (I guess) MORE clear than I was...even though I thought I was clear. read more

So here's the thing. It is a great idea. My puppy loves going. I like that staff is in the room with the dogs. I have asked that my dog get extra breaks because he is young and they have been super accommodating. However. My dog has contract bordetella 2x in the past 5 weeks. It is highly contagious. My dog was vaccinated. I am not sure how they enforce that every dog is up-to-date and if a dog is diagnosed there should be a procedure to inform owners of exposure and the complete facility needs to be sanitized. I have spent over $230 in bills for bordetella at this point so while I'd like him to play and get some energy out and to not have him kenneled during the day, I can't risk the little buddy being sick. read more

I am very protective when it comes to my dogs and paying for services. I took my senior cocker spaniel to be groomed at Park Your Pawz and Andi did a great job. I expressed concern about my dog's arthritis and she assured me that she has experience with seniors and takes her time according to their needs. Turns out it was a great experience and I was thrilled with her cut. She even got bows and smelled great. I will definitely go back. The place was clean and open. read more

I have taken my dog there many times for day care and overnight boarding. I love that they know my dogs name when I call before even telling them who I am. It shows great customer service. They provided a tour of the entire building which most places will not do. If I ask for my dog to be in a private kennel, they will do as requested. Employees, Frankie and John are very nice and welcoming. I have been to at least three popular, highly recommended places and Park Your Pawz is by far the best! I love that I do not have to have a reservation for day care, I can just drop by. They have never not been accommodating. Keep up the great work! read more

I don't like putting negative reviews, but I am really trying to help customers use money wisely and be at ease about their dog during the day. I truly would never bring my dog to Park your Pawz ever again. This was the first doggie day care we had ever been to and was closest to home. I've never been very picky and I don't usually complain, but after I've been to much better places I realize how bad this was. First of all, most day cares remove the dogs collars from home and put their own collars on there for safety. They don't do this here. From the short time I took my dog there I have had numerous collars be destroyed somehow. A harness and collar got ruined by being chewed in half. A chain collar got broken 3 separate times. How does this happen? I have a young hyper lab, which is a lot to handle, and I seriously believe that they would just lock him in a cage for a large part of the day so they wouldn't have to deal with him. I checked to make sure the collars and harnesses were always on tight enough. How long would my dog have to be left alone with no one watching him for him to continuously destroy his collars? Especially the harness, I have no clue how that was accomplished and he definitely spent some time on that one. At first I didn't think it was a big deal. But each time I would ask what happened and every worker acted like they could care less. They could give me NO information on how this actually happened. They had no clue. Why? They also don't have webcams or anything so I can't see what's going on during the day. I wouldn't be leaving such a bad review but the way they handled situations was awful. Just horrible customer service. I never ever got the sense that they actually cared about me or my dog. Of course they just would hand me the broken collar and not really say anything, no oh sorry or maybe a discount for next time. Nothing. Just looked at me with shrugged shoulders and didn't take me seriously. Many times I picked my dog up it would be a teenage girl who glared at me and acted like I was such a nuisance. For what you pay to go there, I have no idea why anyone would choose this place over the many other doggie day cares in Omaha. Also- when I first started going there I was told I would get a tour and report card with a picture after each day care and this literally NEVER happened. If you don't do this, why would you tell your customers you do? Very shady to tell me things like that on the first day just to get my money but never fall through with it. False advertising and shady. read more

As many do, I love my fur babies. When I decided to go to a family reunions, it was difficult leaving two of my fur babies in daycare for 3 nights & 4 days. I chose this facility because it was close to me and I read several good reviews. When I picked my furbabies up on Sunday, they really didn't act themselves for 4 or 5 days. I see it as leaving a baby in daycare, if they don't act right something must be wrong. Even though I got my two dogs vaccinated for Bordetella, they both ended up with kennel cough. I have boarded at PetSmart in the past, but it was further away and my big dog doesn't like car rides, believe it or not, LOL. When I picked them up from PetSmart back then, they were lucky go and happy to see us, but acted like their normal loving selves. How do two dogs get kennel cough when they've been vaccinated? Fortunately I caught it early enough, took him to the vet, and after several hundred dollars they were on an antibiotic and cough Med. They are doing okay now but next time I will look into PetSmart again. On a side note, I had both of them groomed while they were there, the groomer called me and was very professional, friendly and interested in my dogs. She did a wonderful job with the grooming. read more

First time boarding our 4 yr old Shepherd/Chow mix Ellen. She was there for a week while we were pn vacation. Not interacting with other dogs much before boarding, Ellen had a great time after she warmed up a bit. She had to stay longer since all the power was out in our subdivision and they were very accommodating. We will definitely use them again! FOUR PAWZ UP TO YOU GUYS!!!!!!!! read more

This place is a joke. We have been taking our dog here for grooming for 3 years and get the same short shaved haircut. We dropped her off at 8am today and my husband picked her up around 1pm. Her hair was only half length cut so still very long. He was in a hurry to get back to work so brought her home and I called to ask for a shorter cut. The guy who answered said "well we can always cut it shorter but we can't put hair back on." Obviously. Hair also grows back and when we are paying $50 for a cut we expect it to be cut. He asked me to bring her back in and I said what time and he said whenever I can so I dropped her back off at 2pm. I called at 6pm to ask when she would be ready and was told 6:30pm. I went over at 6:35pm to be told that she wasn't ready yet and that they "couldn't make it any faster just because you're here." I said you told me 6:30pm and he said well I was going to call you when she was ready. Mind you the place closes at 7pm. I told him to get my dog and I don't care if she's not done at this point so he grabs her and they hadn't done anything to her at all. She sat in a kennel for 4 1/2 more hours with no food or anything after already being there for 5 hours this morning. Time to find a new groomer and never recommend this place to anyone! read more
