I originally called and wanted to walk the facility to see what the kennel looked like to ensure I was comfortable with boarding my pups there. The facility appeared to be clean and up kept. We were not allowed to see the inside of the facilities but the staff were accommodating in sending us pictures so we could see. During my pups stay, we did not receive any phone calls or updates so we assumed they were happy and healthy. I would say that would be the only thing if we would receive updates via text or email that would have made me feel more assured but overall we were really happy with the process. Our dogs returned to us happy and didn't seem stressed whatsoever. We would definitely bring them back again. Thank you!!!

She more or less did as she pleased when she wanted. She had us trained. We camp almost every weekend and she goes with us on all our trips. It had been a nightmare, she would pull on the leash when walking her and grab the leash out of our hands, jump up on people and their dogs, and rush out of the door of the RV with little recall. We were unable to relax and enjoy our time with her outside of the RV. Mr. Horan said he would make it his mission to teach Macie to become a better behaved dog. He did an excellent job. She returned to us a better behaved dog while still being her loving self. We are enjoying her much more at home and while camping. I highly recommend Citizen K-9 for training.

Received services back in June to assist in training my JRT. Training was 80% talk. Talking about what BB stands for...theory about being the alpha and making noises to correct a dog's behavior. The techniques are so antiquated. Other trainers I have worked with can't believe I went to Bark Busters for help. Working with other trainers has actually led to results. Results I was hoping to see from BB. What really gets me is that after the 2 sessions, I have never heard from Bark Busters. Not the company, nor the trainer. I guess they do not stand by their word or contract. Like Steve Miller sang, " Go on and take the money and run". I will never ever recommend Bark Busters. For those of you who have had success, cheers. Our experience..or lack of...was very underwhelming to say the least.

Lee is an amazing dog trainer. I've had and loved dogs my entire life but I've never had any so…read morewell behaved as the two that Lee has helped us to train. My husband and I adopted 2 black labs that were bred to be working dogs for TSA. The dogs didn't make the cut so we adopted a brother and sister when they were one year old. We've now had them four months and what Lee has done and taught us to do is beyond believable. When we brought the dogs home they had never been in a house, only in a kennel their entire life. They were not potty trained, were not good on the leash, and didn't know even the basic commands such as sit, stay, come. They barked in their crates non stop and would go potty in the house AFTER being brought in from outside. The male dog would not look us in the face and was afraid of the garage and the car and had to be picked up and put in the car for vet visits. He was 60 plus pounds at the time so needles to say he only went to the vet when my husband or sons could put him in the car. We phoned Lee and that's the best call we've every made. He came into the room and his presence alone prompted very different behavior in our furry babies. He worked with them, taught us to work with them, answered my emails usually within an hour or so, but always the same day, and has had several follow up visits. Every single visit with Lee resulted in marked improvement. Fast forward four months to present day and now our guys will go their crates simply by saying "crate". They rarely if every bark in their crates and if so all I have to say is "quiet". They ring a bell on the door when they need to go potty. They don't bark at the neighbors any longer. They sit, stay and come. Walking them on a leash is easy easy easy now. They go through the garage and jump into the car now. The icing on the cake is that now when the doorbell rings they bark, but when I say "It's ok", they go sit at the top of the landing on the stairs. The male dog not only looks us in the face now but brings big sloppy kisses all the time! They are loving, confident, secure and a source of pure joy to us. They are so well behaved that they had their first visit to the dog park yesterday and did beautifully. A man was passing out hot dog bites to the dogs and they were jumping and climbing all over him. Our sweet girl sat in the middle of them and waited for him to give her a bite...no jumping, climbing, barking, just sitting beautifully until it was her turn. Our dogs would not be as happy and we would not be as happy if we had not phoned Lee at Bark Busters to help us. It's a joy to watch him train the dogs. It's obvious he has a true love of animals and our dogs love their time with him.

We hopefully will have her for many years, and will all be happier if she (and us!) are well-trained. Marley is very smart and I was sure that with the right help she would learn fast. The first lesson was with Ryan...he was knowledgeable, patient with both canine and human, articulate and calm. He even was able to make the experience fun for Marley. Jake was with us the second time, and he was just as terrific as Ryan. There is a lot of information given, but with the way they taught, I have been able to retain most of it and work successfully with Marley between classes. Allie is a 5 year old American Shelter Hound. I am so grateful to Adia Robinson and Woof House staff and trainers. I believe that training saved my pups today. My biggest fear has always been that one would get out, and that I would not get my beloved pup back alive. Allie is a Houdini Hound, loves to run and investigate all that is around her. She had gotten out three times, before Woof Houze. Today, while doing yard work, one of gates to my back yard was left open. When I realized this and that both of my pups were out and about, I hollered "Come! To me!" And they BOTH CAME RUNNING BACK TO ME, back through the gate, and looking for congratulations. Which they got in abundance--after I closed the gate. My dogs are alive, with me, and in my house. Thanks to Woof Houze! I am Fredericksburg, and live in the Fbg area. We had a two week long boarding training with our two dogs and they clearly got ZERO training. They most likely were stuck in their crates the entire time (we were given their crates back with the blankets thrown away because they deficated and urinated on them which they NEVER did that previously, and the crates were so filthy of poop). The "trainer", well her (what very much appeared to be) drug using boyfriend was in the icu the majority of the time our dogs were in their care. The dogs were also picked up in an ashtray looking car, ash and cigarette butts and trash filled in the car by her bf and herself. They're lucky we were ignorant young adults back then, if all this were to have happened now, it'd be a different story. I still feel so bad for even allowing our dogs to stay with them.

This is a story about Lola…read more Lola and her 6 or 7 siblings were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Georgia by Furever Haven Rescue in April 2023. By the time she came to us, by way of four previous foster homes in her short four month life, she had many behavioral problems. My husband and I felt pretty confidant that we could take on this little dog with skills we acquired having raised previous dogs and turn her into a well behaved dog.
