She gave honest, professional advice while still keeping our broken hearts in mind, and we always felt she truly cared. She took the absolute best care of our boy until he could no longer be with us, and when it came time to let him go, she made the entire process as gentle and comforting as possible. Got a call in the afternoon that he needed teeth pulled which added to the cost of the cleaning. $70 per tooth from the $275. I come by to pick him up in the afternoon. They give me my now 500 dollar bill...but whatever it is for my cat. As long he was treated well then it okay...well he was not treated well, being sent home with blood all over his foot, cat litter caked deep into his fur that it needed to be remove with scissors (Tail and rear area) and the cat carrier is covered in cat litter as well. The bear minimum they could have done is communicate that they cut his nails to bleeding. When I called back to ask them what the hell happened. They said they wouldn't let them clean him? And that he woke up and injuried his nail on the cage? First off the cat is under drugs and can bearly stand up let alone fight back... I mean how can you handle a small cat.. Second anytime something blood related not to deal with procedure itself should at least be communicated. So I call back and they say they are sorry and if there is anything they could do to make me feel better. Look it isn't about me feeling better, it is about my cat not able to stand on his foot like it is broken from being mishandled AND them not even telling me about it. I will be taking my cat elsewhere as I cannot trust them with the quality of care they provide. 100% look elsewhere.

A completely unprofessional experience ... We were seeking a…read moreplace for our dogs from 10/4 to 10/14, but our normal place as booked. This was our first and LAST experience with Indian Shoals. We received an email at 5:17pm on10/3 requesting a deposit payment by 5:30pm. My spouse went online and paid. The payment processed through their system at 5:32pm (it shows a 5:26pm time from our bank). I get a text at 5:53pm stating our reservation was cancelled due to no deposit. I text them and inquired about it, they said it was processed too late (their system!) and the reservation was cancelled with NO REFUNDS. After some banter, they "did me a favor" and fixed it - what "favor" it was your system issue?! So, I agreed to allow my dogs to stay. I dropped them off at 2pm on 10/4 with an expected pick up time at or around the same time. On 10/14 I get a text if my dogs are not picked up by 11:45am there would be a late charge (even though I dropped off at 2pm!). I arrive at 11:57, due to some traffic SO they tried to charge me $15 each dog for being late. I told the front deck employee I dropped off at 2pm, with a 2pm pick up. She said "our system" shows 11:45 scheduled pick up, so your late. I paid the $15 each dog "late fee", it is $30 total, after some banter with the front desk employee ---- BUT, they have lost any future business from me. After I reviewed the invoice emailed to me, I noticed I was charged for an additional day of boarding. I had to call and request a refund for their error. I was told they "don't do refunds" - this was their error and they did not want to refund it! ... they finally agreed to refund the $57 over charge, stated it would be refunded to my credit card. After waiting three days for a refund confirmation and several follow up conversations, then they said they would mail me a check for the $57.00. A refund that could have been done same day took over a week to receive via check. Very unprofessional! While I understand owning and operating a small business, their policies add more stress to the process, the person who handles their text interactions is rude over text, and check your invoices for errors. Now lets talk about my pets - they were literally starving when I pickup them up on the 14th. They each ran into the house searching for food and water, acting like they never ate. I supplied ample food for each dog, enough to have extra, which I never was offered back (I forgot to ask with all the frustration). They can keep the extra food, but hopefully this review helps others make better decision on where to trust their animals. Just Stay Away !!!
