I appreciate the pics on the Facebook page, seeing her playing with her pals is comforting. They are very, very good at putting "like" personalities together for a cohesive group. At other places we've tried dogs were grouped by size without regard to temperament. My girl is midsized but mellow. When she isn't as mellow she is transferred to the more energetic group. I love the drop in play care as sometimes plans change last minute. They're always great about offering exit baths which is great as well. Would highly recommend.

The only thing I didn't like was their policy regarding bathroom time. The expectation was that dogs just go inside the building. There were no outdoor bathroom breaks in the winter. The employee explained they only take the dogs out in the warmer months. I saw an employee walking around with a mop keeping things cleaned up so the place was not unclean. My concern, and perhaps unfounded, was my dog would get confused and start having accidents at home. It just seemed a strange policy to me.

I can't afford them to come twice at 50.00 per day. I've researched that the going rate is $12-$15 per 30 minute visit with your pet.?? I can't afford that kind of price at $25 for only 30-40 minutes! I decided not to go with them because I found family and friends to pet-sit for us this time. I do need a permanent solution, though. The woman who emailed was kind enough. She told me all about how they have all of these good ratings and such. But I felt deceived because she first said $25 per hour. I would've paid that if THAT was time spent with my pet while I'm away. But then it changed to me paying for "travel time"(when she'd said they had 4 people right nearby my home, in my town). Why do I pay travel time for someone who lives in the same town? I didn't really like that so much. Also, I was not happy that when I wanted to split the "hour" into 2 x 1/2 hours, I was then told I was truly only getting 30 minutes with & for my pet. Plus paying for travel to and from my home. I don't pay travel time for any other services ?? (Plumber, maid service, lawn service etc.) I will keep looking for a more permanent solution.... ***I saw the response from this company. I did not say anything untrue or unkind. I only stated my own interactions & why I did not choose them. * I want to reiterate that I did not use this company because of the reasons stated above. When we got into the car, my husband and I realized that he was covered in dried urine. It looked like he was laying in a puddle of urine. I emailed the location and asked if they had additional information as to why my dog was in this state and I attached the pictures from below. They offered me a free day of daycare and full spa package. Although very generous, I declined their offer because there was NO WAY I would put my dog back in their care. I'm extremely saddened by this experience. I would like to mention that we have boarded our dog here many times prior. This could have been a fluke but it is definitely not a chance that I'm willing to take with my dog again.

It's a pretty expensive procedure, but this clinic quoted a lower price than I had received elsewhere, so I agreed. I was told to drop off my kitty in the morning before work and she would be ready to pick up in the evening. I dropped her off on my rushed way to work, not knowing that would be the last time I saw her. Around noon, I got a call from the vet saying that he finished the procedure but the cat had struggled a lot before going under and now she was not waking up. Although he would not admit it openly, it's clear the poor thing was terrified and struggled, so he OVER SEDATED her. She never did wake up. I had to go pick up her poor lifeless body. I feel horribly guilty that I took my poor kitty and left her alone in a cold office of strangers who then killed her, even if that wasn't their intention. I miss my kitty and am haunted by how she left this world and my decision to take her to this vet.

Idk if this is standard in michigan, but it made us happy to know that our pets wouldn't be exposed to any illnesses. They also interview every dog before allowing it to stay. I really enjoyed using the web cameras to check in on our pups every now and then. The staff was really nice at check in and check out. We will certainly use CBW again when we go out of town.
