We came to Hamiliton Crossing. The other clinic only gave her some anti nausea and hydration. Hamilton Crossing ran all the tests. Her blood work showed she had an infection so we treated that. By this time had no appetite and I was syringe feeding her high calorie supplements. We went back 10 days later because she wasn't getting better. We were prepared to say our goodbyes. We did talk about a hail mary, giving her stronger antibiotics and steroids. Trying to reset her immune system. Unfortunately our baby was too far gone and we had to take her in the following Monday to say goodbye. The staff was so caring during all of this. We will miss our baby.

There is a large outdoor play area, indoor space and a small dog area. The check-in is easy, especially if you download the app first. The staff is great and there's a "ruff-eree" that walks around to maintain order and helps keep the play area clean. There are poo bags stationed liberally around the facility so picking up after your dog is easy. We had fun interacting with the other clients and their dogs. Usually there is a food vendor onsite but were between vendors when I went. I was able to carry in whatever wanted and was told DoorDash was OK, too. I didn't have a chance to check out the bar, which is a pay by ounce but several of my guests did and commented on the variety offered. There are many picnic tables and chairs for humans to gather and a mix of natural and artificial turf for the dogs to play. My friends and I have talked about going back, despite the distance for some of us. It's worth the drive. This is a great day out for dog people-fun for your dog and a chill vibe for dog parents.

I'm so happy I decided to check it out today for the first time to experience "Puppy Yoga." The event featured adoptable puppies through Far Fetched a foster based rescue in Indianapolis. "Trinket," a three-legged Greyhound stole the show! She even found a mat of her own to lounge on. Yoga was facilitated by Amanda Denny Meyer of Within You Without You--although most of us cuddled with the puppies rather than posing in downward facing dog. I'm looking forward to returning to Crate Escapes for other fun events in the future! It's a great place for adults and dogs to socialize. So much more than just a dog park. It's a really unique opportunity just to hang out in this space with dogs everywhere and the option to have food and drinks with other dog lovers. Joyce did a fantastic job! The pets were well cared for- we received an update and photos with every visit. Communication was clear. We have only recently needed care for our pets (in the past we always had family members stay) so this was a scary step for us. It's really hard to enjoy a vacation or time away when you're worried about your pets at home. I searched Next Door for options and read about several unfortunate pet sitting situations and then remembered a friend using Furry Godmother several years ago and I was very glad they are still around. I'm happy we found Furry Godmother and will continue to use them.

We have used the Day Care multiple times to keep our girl well socialized, and again, no real problems, she always seems happy to be there. We had her groomed once. Pomskies never get cut, it's an extensive deep brushing to thin out her double coat and a "sanitary shave", a small circle shaved around the bottom to help keep them clean.Her nails were cut. Well over $100, way to expensive, so we went elsewhere for that. The only issues we've had are customer service. As is the case in so many businesses today, they are being manned by kids, late teens probably. One time my dog was not where she was supposed to be & the inexperienced kid used the words, "we can't find her." This led to her getting berated by me, what do you mean you don't KNOW WHERE MY DOG IS??? A manager called back shortly to tell me they located her & implied I over reacted. Better training of the kid on the phone would have taught her to never say such a thing to a pet parent, put me on hold & find her!! We also asked if we could take a quick peek again at the dog accommodations to be sure we could keep her away from other dogs during this new dog illness problem. They insisted we come back with an appointment. We were running late for the appointment , called & they tried to cancel it. I had to repeat over & over that we don't need a tour, we are previous customers, just a less then 5 minute peek. They finally relented and when we arrived they led us to the back where the gal started her tour speech. Again, no tour required, please just let us look at the accommodations for a minute. She took us over, we looked & approved & less then 5 minutes required. I guess they are over trained on the tour concept & just couldn't hear what we really wanted. Of course denying a previous customer that quick access is not good customer service. 4 stars for beauty, cleanliness, and quality of the business. Lost the 5th due to customer service. I will continue to board her there unless we have any negative experience with my dog, herself.
