Ever since a switch in management, both the RM and GM only care about money. Your dogs are not safe. The reason this location keeps ratings up is by reviews by employees and management themselves, which is deceiving and frankly, quite pathetic and sad. My OWN dogs were boarded here over the summer. My epileptic dog was not given her lifesaving medication because it was just placed in her food bowl (she doesn't usually eat at PS). The next day, my other dog was fed surrounded by her sisters diarrhea from the previous night. As an employee, I witnessed so many dogs come down with illnesses that were not disclosed to owners. One dog was leaking diarrhea constantly and the GM, Nickole, would not allow it to go to the vet unless it also vomited. Groups are always over the ratio of 25:1 which not only puts your dogs in danger, but also us as employees. Please exercise caution if you choose this awful business. I called at noon when I hadn't heard from them, they said I could get him at 2. When I did my dog ran to the door he had to go out so bad. They basically tortured him for seven hours. They never once thought about taking him out to go. This is your business to take care of animals and somehow didn't think after seven hours that him may need to pee? If you care about the health and safety of your dog(s) and expect a company to stand behind its written policies, think twice before using PetSuites. Our experience with PetSuites' Daycare has been deeply disappointing. We signed our three dogs for daily daycare. After approximately five visits, one developed severe bloody diarrhea that required emergency veterinary care. Within days, our other two dogs began vomiting and experiencing diarrhea as well. All three required treatment, costing us over $800. When we first informed staff about the initial illness, we were told they believed a "bug might be going around" because multiple dogs in group play were having loose stool. That alone should have raised serious concerns. The next day, when we picked up our other two dogs from daycare, they were absolutely filthy. Their legs and fur were matted and they smelled strongly of urine, and one was foaming at the mouth. She began vomiting repeatedly as soon as we got home and could not keep food or water down for 24 hours. Shortly after, she developed diarrhea identical to our first dog. Within two days, our third dog developed the same symptoms, requiring yet another emergency vet visit. After two emergency visits, the manager, Nickole, finally returned my initial call. I raised concerns not only about our dogs becoming ill, but about the condition they were sent home in and the apparent cleanliness of the facility. She acknowledged they should not have been sent home that way and stated their legs should have been cleaned before pickup. I also brought up how their ratio of one employee supervising 38 dogs makes it pretty easy to miss urine or feces in that setting. We were told on the phone to submit our veterinary bills because the situation would fall under the $500 per pet Health Care Commitment we had signed. PetSuites advertises this program as covering illnesses that occur during daycare or within five days after. We followed the claim process exactly and submitted all required veterinary documentation. Our claim was denied because they could not determine they were "at fault," even though their written policy does not require proof of negligence, only that illness occurred during or within five days of services. When we asked for clarification, requested confirmation of whether the independent veterinary review referenced in their agreement had been conducted, and asked for the Market Manager's contact information, they have yet to respond. Three sick dogs. A known illness circulating in group play. Dogs sent home filthy and smelling of urine. A written health commitment that sounds reassuring, until you attempt to use it. The lack of accountability, transparency, and follow-through has been extremely disappointing. This situation reflects a serious breakdown in standards and responsibility involving animals entrusted to their care. read more

This is a pet lodging facility that I've used for years on holidays and vacations. The staff are SUPER friendly, it's very clean and pet odor free. As you can see from my photos, there are wonderful grooming stations in FULL VIEW of the customers, so that when they're in operation you can really see how well the staff care for their guests. Likewise, large indoor lobby windows allow full view of the dog and cat kennel areas. There is a big dog play area indoors as well as outdoors dog Ranch for exercise time. you can bring your own food, medication, and play toys. But in the event you should forget a toy, they do sell things in the lobby. read more

Our dog has been attacked twice at this PetSuites. Neither incident was our dog's fault. The first required stitches and antibiotics, both of which was paid for by PetSuites. We still brought him back because we understand that accidents happen. This time he was attacked and got a cut on his foot from the other dog. He was removed from all day play and switched to individual, which is only 20-30 minutes a day. They kept the cost for all day play instead of charging the extra for individual. When asked how they planned to make it right, they said not charging us for the extra cost for individual. The biggest issue is telling us they knew the dog that attacked him had caused problems in the past so why is it still allowed in all day play? Our dog shouldn't have been kept in the kennel all day because of another dog. I asked to speak to someone upon picking him up and was told the manager would call me but couldn't confirm it would be today. This person was in the building and couldn't speak with me in real time? We will NEVER be back to this facility. read more

Great customer service! I've been taking my dog daily and I've boarded overnight. The staff up front is not seasoned however they are amazing, kind and work hard. I had a small concern and talked with the staff and manager and they are all wonderful and addressed everything timely. They have worked so well with my dog as she's been nervous. They were able to get her done by the time I asked and were attentive to her comfort level during the process. My collie stayed here twice the past two months while I was out of town. We got the gold package so we were able to receive daily pictures of her. Not only did she look like she was having a great time, but when I'd pick her up she had the same smile on her face. The staff was friendly and helpful, and prompt. Given that she was pooped the next two days after coming home, it's fair to say that I will start taking advantage of their Day Plays. read more

My groomer has been taking care of my Akita for years - given the breed I am careful about who grooms him, and Nakia has been so wonderful with him that I have followed her to have her continue grooming. She is thorough, meticulous, and genuinely cares about the quality of her grooms. She is quick to report any concerns she may find on him while grooming (like the irritation she found on his neck) and provide educated feedback about the types of tools I can use at home to tide him over until his next grooming appointment. If you are unsure of sending your dog to a groomer you do not know, I highly recommend requesting Nakia as she takes care of your pets like her own. read more

We had our pup stay for a long weekend. We were able to add 2 playtime's per day, that is 20 minutes for each session if your dog is not neutered. Plus we included a bath to pamper our little guy. This was our first time using PetSuites and we were not impressed. When we picked up our pup on a Sunday afternoon, he was not the same when we dropped him off the Friday before. Very timid and quite, unlike a 10 month old puppy. His blanket that we packed him was ruined and soaking wet due to the condensation from what we were told. Not sure what the condensation was from. Only a few bags of food were used with lots left over, even though we packed for every meal with given instruction and certain amounts. He seemed to be very itchy once we got him home so we brushed him. As we brushed him, we found a chalky substance on his back which looked like dry shampoo that was not washed off properly. This was not a great experience and it might be worth checking into Pet Palace down the road. Would not recommend friends or family. read more

My baby boy Tucker absolutely adores this place. They treat him so good! He plays all day and is worn out for the next two days after he comes back from playing with other dogs. However, I found that there was a significant gap in communications between myself and the staff regarding specific needs. That was sticker shock and I thought someone overcharged us. Apparently not. We were charged an additional $20, along with holiday prices, which I wasn't aware of (21st to the 22nd). Just poor communication. Be aware of what you're getting yourself into if you decide to use this facility. They seem to have hidden charges. We would have opted for another facility or just blocked off our dog from the guests at home and saved $80. I received an email, after emailing corporate, and they said they'd put $20 back on my card, along with a $20 credit next time we stay. That's very thoughtful, although I wish I would have known everything upfront. The website doesn't list the package prices "per day". read more

First time boarding a pet here. My 11 month old chocolate lab stayed 7 days. When I picked him up I was given back a bag and a half off food which I measured the Exact amount of what he should have eaten while there . I was also told If he would have peed his dog bed they would wash it there but when I got it back it smelt like straight dog pee and had a few stains I know weren't there before. He also seems to be acting very strange and antisocial. Wouldn't come out of his cage for hours which is not like him. I'm not sure what they did to him there but it's more then him just being tired . He also has a scar on his nose and lips that wasn't there before . I called twice during his stay and was not told about any accident that happened . But I could tell the scar bled . I also asked for a bath before i picked him up, Which I think they did but he is covered in loose hair and white sander . Not sure if they even brushed him or got all the soap out. Our puppy stayed while we traveled for the holidays. When I picked her up, she was exhausted from all the play time (we did pay extra to get her out more since she's an energetic puppy). The appropriate amount of food was gone. One star lost because they lost a brand new Nylabone, and did nothing about it. The girl who checked us in didn't write it down, so they denied that she ever had it. Also, there was no report on how she did each day. Otherwise we were satisfied. Not to be the cliche unhappy customer, because we did take our dogs here one time prior and we're happy...BUT most recently we boarded two dogs twice, the first time our check in was a bit later during work hours and the group working seemed annoyed by our presence. After pick up we had a dog with kennel cough and a 125 vet bill. Next trip in we boarded our big guy and he came home with kennel cough, open wounds on his face (which are now scars) and a bill over 200 from the vet. Hire better people or manage the day to day. There are a lot of great places out there with great care. We will not return. read more

The only good thing I have to say about this place is the staff always very friendly. Now to everything else. I've given this facility way to many chances! This last time is what did it. My dog is a boxer and since she resembles a pit she is not aloud to play with the other dogs. They did not tell me this till I picked her up this time and asked how group play was. One time she came home with open wounds on her pads on her feet and hives all over her body. She is a special needs dog that needs pretty much special anything we bring her food, bones, treats even bedding. She had an allergic reaction to what ever treat they gave her. And this last time she was so terrified to go into daycare she wouldn't go into the door I had no clue why. They wouldn't pay any vet bills because she had pre-existing allergies. Used PetSuites for the first time recently. I had been going to Pet Palace, but after a bad experience, decided to try someplace new. Did a surprise pop-in visit before deciding to board our dogs on a Tuesday afternoon. When I got there, I found most of the dogs outside with about two or three staff. They had the dogs playing together and they all looked like they were having a good time. I found the runs to be clean and well organized. I dropped of the dogs for a long three day weekend and just picked them up. Looks like they got along great with the rest of the dogs and they didn't stink of kennel ... although I'll be giving them a bath anyway tonight. They accepted my free day of stay without asking for their online coupon and the staff was very pleasant and answered all of my questions. So far, looks like I've found my new place. read more

Petsuites is a very clean and a more "luxurious" pet boarding option. Although Camp Bow Wow is still my favorite place to take my dog, Petsuites is a close second favorite. Petsuites is very clean and my dog never comes home smelling like a kennel. They also have a big swimming pool (not one of those tiny plastic tubs). I have a golden retriever and she absolutely loves to swim! The only thing I do not like about Petsuites is that they only let the dogs out of the cages twice a day (one hour each time). They say this way is more scientific because dogs get bored after an hour of play, so if they go back to their kennels for a few hours, they'll be more excited the second time they're let out. But I think if my dog is bored, she can lay around and mind her business and play again when she wants. This is why I pick Camp Bow Wow over Petsuites. Petsuites is also slightly cheaper than Camp Bow Wow, and the dollars you save really adds up if you leave for a long period. read more

Just picked my dog up from a 5-night stay - paid extra for extra walks & left feeding instructions. Receipt stated "health concerns." When asked rep. had no idea why it was there. My dog now has diarrhea because they over fed him soft food - despite my feeding directions. My dog wasn't ready b/c he was being washed. One person said because he rolled in his pee, the groomer told me she was washing poop off of him. I believed the groomer because he smelled like poop and his bedding was soiled when they brought me his cage. A rep. literally looked at it & folded the soiled bedding in half in front of me and put it back in the cage. When I asked if it was soiled, she said yes. I then asked for a bag to put it in. My dog wasn't dried. They said because he didn't like the sound of the hairdryer (funny how the groomer seems to be able to get him dry & has never said anything about him not liking the dryer). His anal area was very inflamed and beet red, which led me to believe that the stool she removed was dried & matted, not fresh & wet, which would easily come off. I paid about $225. Should've boarded with my Vet.; PetSuites was closer. I've used them to board once in the past but NEVER AGAIN! read more

My dog Max has been a frequent visitor to PetSuites for the past 3 years. They have always treated him very kindly and given playtime when promised. He is always very excited when we get to PetSuites which is a strong indication that he loves it there. The staff is always professional and very good with our timid pup! Once they received the records no one bothered to check to make sure all was good. Nor did they call to tell me that I was missing a vaccine for my dog. Drove over 20 min this morning to get checked in at 7am like I was instructed and They couldn't find my reservation. Then they said my vet didn't send the records. That was a lie. oops they found them. Then was told that my dog didn't have the right shots. Would have been nice if I was informed before driving there for the appointment that I was confirmed for. My groomer is amazing. She has groomed my dogs for a few years and is truly amazing. Nakia is professional and friendly and listens to everything I ask of her. Her suggestions are always on point and I also listen to what she thinks would work best for my dogs. I will continue to take my dogs to her because I love the way she handles my dogs who each have issues and she is absolutely amazing with them. She loved the playgroups so much that when we drop her off, it's a race to the door! Dont go here. Read on! We got a free "day of day care coupon" in the mail so we figured we'd give it a shot. Before we moved to Columbus our dog went to 'doggy day care' all the time and she loved it. Whenever we would go on vacation we knew we could trust The Barker Lounge to look after our dog. Yeah..shes a dog, but she deserves to be happy and not pent up in a cage all day at some vet boarding place. For the same price why not let her run around and socailize with other dogs and ..and dare I say...let her be happy? That way at least she gets her energy out and it could even serve as a doggy va-ca. That said, I was very impressed when I first walked into this place. "Pet Suites" sound wonderful, and they advertise wonderful kennels that come with tv's....a bit fussy for a dog but nice nontheless. Jersey (our dog) loves tv but I would never go out of my way to make sure her kennel had one. They only had a handful of this type of kennel, most being your traditional metal wire kind with a simple bowl of water in the corner. Whatever...she's fine. She wont be in it much since it's doggy-day-care and she'll be with other dogs all day. I'm used to the kennels as a place for them to relax durring nap time; yup nap time....doggy nap time and they get a kong filled with peanut butter. The Barker Lounge knows what a dog needs!! Except this place didnt do that. They didnt even let her play with other dogs, which is why you'll notice the star rating...2 stars...not 3, not 4, and deff not 5! Not 1 star thought either. The free coupon was their saving grace. (the people were all really nice thought, so it helped a smidgen) If I wasnt going to be at the state fair all day I would have driven straight home after hearing that my dog wouldnt be allowed to play with other dogs since she was part pitbull. Even though they loved her and she gave tons of kisses and has been to day care a ton of times before. Clearly not an aggressive dog, but they didnt care. "company policy" she said..."sorry." To say that I was furious goes beyond what I felt..and what I still feel for this place. I'm disgusted, offended, and now have a lingering hatred for this company. People are affraid of things that the media portray as mean & harmful, forgetting the fact that these lies harm peoples lives. My dog has never done anything wrong, nor has she ever wanted to. My 'mean' pitbull is the mother to 3 orphaned bunnies and a therapy dog (in training) for the Ohio Nationwide Children's Hospital. But she cant play with other dogs wihle at day care because their policy wont allow an agressive dog to mingle with the other...nice..dogs. I'm sorry but the chances are that a chiwawa will bite you far sooner then a pitbull. A lab is more likely to go after another dog then a pitbull. Most of the pitbulls in the media attacking someone isnt even a pitbull, but since the media thinks they know what it is, they get to ruin all of our lives inthe midst of their 'true stories.' Shame on this company for segragating dogs that have never done anything to harm anything or anyone! And shame on the people who do nothing to help this situation. Everything from over feeding to lost items and bringing home other dog's things in our bag. This last time they couldn't find our dog's leash & harness which had his license, rabies tag & ID attached. We sat for 45 minutes (after a long drive) while they said they were looking for it.
