I scheduled an appointment with prior veterinarian and Dr. Wyandotte for a persistent coughing issues that my cat was having. On all visits these doctors stated that the diagnosis was "hairballs and to treat accordingly". Not once did they offer or suggest doing x-rays. I moved to another state and found another veterinarian to establish care and see if they could help with a diagnosis of this persistent cough. What a blessing in a way to finally have one after all prior visits and confidence in one vet practice. The diagnosis was "Feline Asthma plus a narrowed esophageal problem". My pet could have had treatment for this terrible disease if they listened me. Well, now Dr. Wyand is/has sold Great Falls to Petco.

We adopted our dog, Senna, a few months ago and unfortunately have been in there quite a bit trying to get Senna's health up to par. They always call after appointments to check up on her, and as they have gotten to know her they greet her lovingly. Senna actually LOVES going to the vet because she's always treated so well when she's there. Every step of the way Great Falls has been so supportive, informative, and responsive to Senna's needs. At one point, they even gave us a discount (for no particular reason) on one particularly high bill (due to Senna's poor health when we adopted her). We're moving across the county soon and will be SO very sad to leave them. They made us feel like family there!

If I could give zero stars I would. I have had multiple frustrating experiences with this office…read moresince Dr. Jordon left, and I cancan no longer recommend them to anyone who values reliable and compassionate care for their animals. Despite being listed as open at 8am, it's rare to get anyone on the phone before 8:30 or even 8:45. They close early randomly -especially on Fridays- and are closed midweek, making access to care incredibly difficult. When I called about an urgent medication refill for a condition that can result in serious bleeding if untreated, it took them 4 days to get the medication ready. That kind of delay is unacceptable and dangerous. The front desk staff consistently fail to take accurate messages. I've gone in multiple times to pick up prescription food or medication (that I called ahead for and they confirmed it would be ready), only to find that they have the wrong items, or nothing was ready at all. It's a waste of time and shows they have zero attention to detail. This kind of negligence is not only frustrating - it's incredibly dangerous! There have been times I was told they were open but couldn't schedule an appointment because they had no vet in house that day. If you don't have a vet in house, why are you open?! Even for urgent issues, they routinely refer you to urgent care or ER, rather than taking responsibility for established pets in their care. The urgent care clinics they refer you to don't open until 12 and are by appointment (unless you are willing to wait all day and possibly not be seen because appointments get priority- would have been nice for them to tell me that prior to suggesting I go there). And if you want to speak with a vet directly? Good luck! Getting a call back from an actual vet is impossible. Last time I requested to speak with the vet concerning an ongoing issue with one of my pets, it took THREE WEEKS to get a call back. By that time, I had already sought care from another vet. This clinic is DISORGANIZED, UNRESPONSIVE, LACKS ACCOUNTABILITY, and the urgency and professionalism that pet owners and their pets deserve. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value competent, attentive care for your pets that also prioritize your pet's health-and your time- seriously.

They got us in right away, sewed up the lid, and gave us some antibiotics to apply over the next few weeks. It was so bad, we were cautioned that he may need to have the eye removed... But after two weeks and having stitches removed, his eye was already starting to heal nicely. Now, just a couple months later, the cloudiness in his eye is going away, his eyeball is intact, and I think he may even be starting to see out of it again. Village Vet was friendly, competent and more reasonably priced than any other vet we've ever used. I recommend them highly to anyone who asks me. The entire eye procedure, along with the meds and vaccinations was only about $250- a complete shock for me after previous price tags for just a regular checkup. A+!! Thank you for being a veterinary clinic who cares about the animals and not just making a buck!! We completely switched vets right away after this wonderful experience.

Tired of going to a vet with a marvelous reputation but only concerned about $$$$ not my dogs and it was blatantly obvious.

She was not eating, (3+ days.) unless it was softer things like fruit, and as well as not having her usual energy and jumps. She had lost weight, and didn't smell the best due to her sickness and unable to clean herself, and due to that, the vet barely touched her. We got booked a late appointment, when the vet called us he was very quick with examining her weight and behavior, not a full checkup, despite the price we paid. He never checked her mouth, he provided us medicine in case there was an infection, however, whenever she'd chew, her teeth made a noise. We managed to blend up hay and her other food, and she was so hungry she'd take it. Our rabbit had an overgrown tooth, causing this reaction out of her, and nothing was done about it. Come mothers day, the bunny had passed.

Covid has thrown all sorts of weird and wacky new procedures our way but everyone here was great. After her visit, the vet called, he was SO nice and thoroughly explained what he thought was wrong and talked about the medicine he would send out with her. The price was almost MUCH better than any other vet I've been to in the area. Will definitely be switching both dogs to make this our permanent vet.
