Ordered take out pizza from Pezzo and it was hot and ready in about 15 minutes on a Sunday night. We ordered the "Il Padrino" with Pezzo's house red sauce, meatballs, whipped ricotta, Calabrian chile, and fresh basil. We loved the pizza's thin crust and how fresh the toppings tasted. The Calabrian chile adds a perfect kick of spice to the pizza. Overall, we enjoyed Pezzo's flavorful pizza and the friendly greeting we received when entering the restaurant. For a "strip mall" Italian restaurant, this place did not disappoint! Inside & Outside seating, very cool bar. Family owned, staff worked together like none other, great to see such a fine team. Food was AMAZING. Try the Fritti, best mozzarella cheese we've ever had. Servings are huge. Don't be fooled, 10" pizza says "single serve or personal size" this easily served 2 adults. First time trying because of reviews! I ordered a gluten free pizza with mushrooms and carmelized onions- onions were vinegared- say what????? Pizza crust so tough almost inedible! Our friend ordered Caesar pizza and she said it was very good. My husband ordered eggplant Parmesan. He couldn't find the eggplant and all I could find was tiny pieces of eggplant!! Food was great and so was the service. It is more of a bar atmosphere so definitely not low energy. I had the house made Sangria special, delicious but potent . Next the meatball appetizer and Ceasar salad which they graciously plated on two plates as the size is very generous. Dressing was house made not bottled so that was a bonus for me. Pizza was amazing. Reminded me of my visit to New York. Thin crust, spicy sauce and lots of cheese and slightly greasy. Decadent and delicious and worth the trip to Estero. Started off with one of their Signature drinks, the tiramisu old-fashioned just because I'm a chocolate & coffee lover. It came with a roasted marshmallow on top and was absolutely delicious. Hubby enjoyed the all day $6 Tito Tuesdays.. Out came the Burrata board with some toasted bread w shaved Parmesan, Burrata w drizzled balsamic over a bed of greens, some shaved prosciutto & a dollop of fig jam. Hubby was ready to lick the board clean.! I ordered a margarita pizza as this is a pizza place! Have you decided on some grilled chicken and Caesar salad to try to eat a bit healthy! TERRIBLE business man. No consideration for his customers. I ordered 5 burrattas for a party. When I got home he did not include the fig sauce. I called immediately. He did not answer my call. There were several hours before my party. He could have made it right. But instead he chose to ignore me. He had my $100. Needless to say I couldn't serve it. The next day I called several times. There was always an excuse. Eg. stepped out, in bathroom, etc. The following day I went to the restaurant. Conveniently he wasn't in. Each time I left my number and asked that he call me. One of the workers said he would give me $10 for the fig sauce. REALLY. He made a mistake. Own it and make it right. He chose to do nothing. I was so disappointed. A busy Friday night in season. We didn't have a reservation but the host/hostess were very accommodating. A very short wait for an outside table. The place is casual. We ordered a lot for our party of 4. I had the gnocchi which was good. 2 pizzas were ordered by the table. The made to order one was enjoyed. The margarita pie wasn't as good. We also ordered the baratta, fig & prosciutto appetizer. Which was good. The fried calamari came lukewarm. The meatball appetizer was piping hot. Our go to for great pizza! The pizzas are all fantastic but we almost always end up getting the Cosa Nostra and the Pistachio pizza (seriously try it!). The pizzas are perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients. We also love their salad with dressing made in-house. The bar area is great and they have a fun cocktail menu plus all the classics. Awful experience. it was floating and sauce no bread was offered with the meal. The most disturbing thing was there was incident at the bar where a disturbed girl slapped a man. this was a isolated incident we were sitting across from the bar, however, a waitress came over and slipped me a note to tell me that this was a disturbed girl, and I had nothing to worry about how dare her give me a note. First time here and it was delicious!! My wife had a cosmo drink to start and it was made perfectly. We got bread which was simple but very good!! We then had a salad with vinaigrette and my wife says it was one of the best salads she's ever had and she lives her salads!! For dinner we had the Parma pie which the ladies said was magnificent and I had a 10" pepperoni and salami pie that was definitely one of the best I've had!! In search for some quality Italian and was disappointed with my experience at Pezzo. I saw the spicy baby pizza and thought it was going to be delicious. To my surprise it's just normal pepperoni with ricotta and they forgot even the hot honey. The cheese was pretty greasy so there was no undercarriage at all. The house meatball antipasto was overcooked and the caesar salad had powdered cheese vs actual parm like I saw in some of the pictures. Maybe it's new business woes, but hopefully they can pull it together. read more

Dined here this evening for the first time. Greeted by a lovely man with an Italian accent and seated right away. The restaurant has a great vibe; nice music playing in the background and a really large bar. Neon signs decorate the wall and add to the overall experience. Our food was so good that I forgot to get pictures of everything before we ate it all. Started with the house Chianti and it was smooth and flavorful. For appetizer, we had the fried calamari. It was a nice portion with both rings and tentacles, served with a delicious marinara sauce. My hubby loves tentacles so that was a bonus. The calamari was seasoned perfectly and it was oh so tender. Really fantastic! We then shared a Caesar salad and the dressing had a wonderful, lemony flavor. It was also a generous portion, definitely for 2, unless you were having it as an entree with an added protein. For our entree, we each had a chicken dish. The chicken parmasean and the pollo longobardo were both served with a side of penne with marinara sauce. The longobardo was a breaded, fried chicken breast covered with a layer of ricotta, prosciutto, and eggplant parm. Although the eggplant was on the thick side, it was tender and not chewy at all. A very good dish. Again, the portions were very large. We could have easily split one entree between the 2 of us. We took home half of both our dinners. All in all, this restaurant has ambiance and great food. A place where you can have a great dinner and still have conversation without yelling over music or other patrons. The servers and wait staff are very nice, and the drinks are good, the food on the other hand is not. Its a nice place to grab a couple drinks and then go get food somewhere else. After leaving this review the staff reached and offered a a gift certificate for my next visit. The customer service here is outstanding and i greatly appreciate the staff reaching out. I saw this new pizza place open up with non dairy options and really wanted to love it. Let me say that the meatball was excellent. And while the pizza crust is very good, the ratios of dough, sauce and cheese are way off and extremely overpriced. The vegan cheese option is the wrong texture, more slimey than melty. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience and a very "bruh" environment with a more sports bar feel than upscale pizza place. read more
