    An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Our server, Joan, was outstanding throughout the entire evening--attentive, professional, and impressively knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine pairings and overall a great server, His recommendations truly elevated the experience. The supporting staff was amazing, when they noticed my love for parmigiana cheese, while grating he offered me a small price of the fresh cheese, it was so amazing and made my night. The little things really showed. To begin, I ordered the Lychee Cocktail, which was absolutely delightful. It leans toward the sweeter side, which I personally enjoy, and it was perfectly balanced and refreshing. My boyfriend ordered the espresso martini and mentioned it was the best he has ever had. For our meal, we tried the Alfredo prepared in the parmesan wheel, which was nothing short of incredible--rich, flavorful, and easily one of the most memorable dishes I've ever had. I initially ordered the Frutti di Mare seafood pasta with added steak. While beautifully prepared, the seafood flavor was slightly stronger than my personal preference. However, this was purely subjective and likely just my own taste. The staff graciously exchanged it for the shrimp Alfredo, which turned out to be absolutely phenomenal--creamy, perfectly cooked, and truly to die for. Overall, the service, atmosphere, cocktails, and food made for a fantastic experience. We will absolutely be returning.

    There last night with friends and we had a GREAT server at our table out on the patio, JENNA. Very professional, personable and engaging and helpful with the menu selections. Very knowledgeable about a lot there. She didn't miss a beat. But, as always with people I meet in my life, a great sense of humor. We did have some laughs. We enjoyed her company and laughs for the 90 minutes there. A great asset to the restaurant! THANKS AGAIN JENNA! Dave/Dottie/Gina & Guenthur. (they introduced us to the restaurant months ago) We had a lot of the same entrees as they are soo good: Tuscan Salmon Chicken Madeira Pasta with clams Ruta di parm etc. with the added blackened shrimp. Soo good with the Cheese Wheel of parmagiano/reggiano The staff on the calls for reservations as they were also VERY helpful and courteous with my changing reservation because of the ever changing arrival time of our friends at RSW airport. But we got to the restaurant at 7:45. Will just post a couple of pictures of US. Our meals were always the best. Grateful we found Divietos many months and and we always appreciate a great staff you have there. It's always an added pleasure to our time there. I did add just a few pics.

    Motto Bene! (I think I got that right!!) great service and great dinner at Divieto! We were in town for a show, so I wanted to plan a special dinner! Very good Italian menu, and like I said, excellent service! And they surprised us with a birthday cake!

    Decided to stop by for lunch after picking up my new phone from the Apple Store. What a lovely place! Everything is excellent, the vibe, the decor, the music, the drinks, the food, and above all, the service! This was our first visit and definitely won't be the last! Can't wait to come back for dinner!

    I've been to the Doral location before; therefore, I knew it was going to be a great experience again. The food was outstanding, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere. Make sure you make a reservation. Great location in the Coconut Point Mall.

    The ambiance is dark and classy, was very busy. The bread and oil was good and warm. Got calamari which was crispy not too oily, had fried zucchini in it which was interesting but not bad. Serving wasn't overwhelming given the price. The pear salad was massive and was shared between 4 people easily. A tad overdressed but was still good. I got the frutti di mar seafood pasta and there was a generous amount of seafood and the sauce was so good! I tried chicken picatta and the sauce was light and lemony which also had generous chicken. The cheese wheel pasta was interesting... I get its aged cheese but it was a little too sour (?) and grainy for my liking, not very creamy imo. And came with no protein for almost $30 seemed steep. Overall liked the food, would try other places in the area tho. Waitress was nice and attentive

    This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten in! Their signature dish is fettuccine, tossed in this amazing wheel of Parmesan. It is not to be missed. It's absolutely fabulous. Kristen took great care of me and she made my fettuccine right in front of me! I also ordered a side of meatballs, which were very tender and flavorful. If you're anywhere near Bonita Springs I highly recommend you try this restaurant. They are open for both lunch and dinner.

    Have you been missing service? Restaurant staff that seem to care about the customer and actually enjoy their job? If so, Divieto will impress you. Everyone, from the moment of walking in the door, was warm, professional and doing a great job. Wonderful atmosphere where you can actually hear your companions talk. Food choices that are unique and varied. Every bite we had, including the bread, was delicious. Delicious pastas. Innovative presentations. Smoked Berry Basil Martini and Fettuccine Alfredo...someone at the table must order for the show! Fun, and both were really delicious.

    I came here with my parents after Christmas because no one wanted to cook after the holidays. We love Italian food, and have been here before. We sat on the patio because we brought the dog. The patio is beautiful and it was filled with people. My dad ordered the fettuccine which is finished in a giant cheese wheel. It was really cool to see. My mom had the Marsala which was served on top of pappardelle noodles. I had the vongole pasta because I love clams, especially opening them. All were delicious. The fettuccine was amazing. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're near Estero!

    One of our favorite restaurants. Our party of 7 all raved over their selections. Cheese carved at your table for a delicious pasta dish. Many menu choices for everyone. Ambiance is perfect !

    We went to Divieto to celebrate our mom turning the big 7-0 (she looks fabulous, by the way--just like the ambiance here). From the moment we sat down, the service was next-level--shout-out to our server Brandon, who deserves a standing ovation. He asked all the right questions, like a culinary therapist, and guided us through the menu like we were on a Michelin-starred expedition. I'll admit: I'd read the Yelp reviews and saw nothing about the sea bass--was it a secret flop? Brandon confidently set me straight, and thank the pasta gods I listened: the sea bass was divine, flaky perfection. Our table also devoured:    *   The pork shank Ossobuco--tender enough to make you cry tears of joy.    *   The Tuscan Salmon--flavorful but a smidge overcooked (hey, even culinary wizards have off moments). The fried polenta that came with the Salmon straight-up chef's kiss.    *   The Mascarpone pasta--like the Avengers of seafood, chicken, and veggies united by a sauce that deserves its own fan club.    *   The pizza... okay, we were warned by Brandon that there were better options, but we ignored him. The pizza was fine, but next time we'll trust the man! The place got lively (a bit loud) as the night went on, but honestly, we were too busy having a blast to care. Highly recommend making a reservation, because clearly everyone else already knows how good this place is. We'll definitely be back

It is always nice when a place puts as much thought into the glass as they do the plate. All around it was one of those meals where everything simply worked.     I placed an online pickup order through the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar website at 12:32 PM using their…read morepreferred ordering platform, ChowNow. The order was prepaid and included a 20% gratuity. After parking and walking to the restaurant, I received a text message at 12:47 PM stating that my order had been canceled and refunded because the restaurant could not make the order. Assuming this must have been an error, I still went inside and waited in line to explain what had happened. When I reached the counter and calmly explained the situation, several staff members immediately chimed in saying things like "I was watching and no orders came through." At that point it became clear that the order likely had not been acknowledged on their end and was automatically canceled after 15 minutes. Despite the fact that the order had been placed directly through the restaurant's own website and had already been prepaid with gratuity, there was no apology and no effort to resolve the situation by making the order. Instead, the staff member at the register told me that "ChowNow always doesn't work" and that I should have called the restaurant instead. That response was surprising considering the order was placed through their official website, which directs customers to use that exact system. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to step out of line. When the manager arrived, the interaction unfortunately got worse. Before I could finish explaining the situation, he interrupted with "Are you going to let me talk now?" and proceeded to repeat that none of this was the restaurant's fault. There was still no apology and no attempt to remedy the situation by simply preparing the order that had already been placed. What made the experience particularly disappointing is that this location has been one I've visited many times over the years. Mistakes happen in any business, and an online ordering system failure is understandable. What is not understandable is the complete lack of basic customer service and the unwillingness of management to take ownership of the problem or attempt to fix it. A simple apology and an offer to make the order would have resolved the entire situation. Instead, the response from both staff and management was dismissive and defensive. Unfortunately, that interaction has turned what had been a frequently visited restaurant into one I will not be returning to.
