As far as chain restaurants go, PF Chang's is pretty nice. I like this particular location, I have eaten here several times and never gotten sick from cross contamination by gluten. I always tell my server that I have a gluten allergy, and they always take extra special care to make sure my food is cooked in their separate prep area. Their gluten free menu is pretty extensive for an Asian restaurant, they have appetizers, soup and plenty of entree's, plus fried rice! They have a rewards program too, which is definitely worth signing up for. The prices really aren't bad either, especially if you come for lunch. read more

I made a reservation at 7:00 pm for 8:30pm. I drove 30 minutes only to not be able to be seated for my reservation. I got a call 10 minutes before my reservation was set say that they couldn't take my reservation because the place closed at 9pm. Even though the restaurants hours say they close at 10pm every day. When asked why I was allowed to make a reservation that wasn't in fact possible the lady had to answer. I also asked why I didn't get a call until 10 minutes beforehand and the lady said they were too busy and the 9:00pm close time had just went into effect..very bad customer service and absolutely no care or thought for people who are taking a drive to spend money at this place. I know the excuse about this COVID-19 thing where it's short staffed but wow by far the worst dinner I've EVER HAD! Everything went wrong from the beginning of my order to the finish. No crab wonton to begin the night then the calamari and vegetables appetizer had 7 calamari and the plate was full of vegetables!! Not calamari! I had asked for a wonton soup and the soup came out after dinner and when it did it had not wonton in it! I asked for the trio sauce and it came out 12 minutes after dinner and so did the Mongolian beef sauce. By this time food was cold. But ate it anyways. To top off the night I kindly talk to the waiter and the manager and explained to them about my night's experience. Not for a discount or anything free. Just so they are aware of what's going on. They give me check and what do you know I was charged for the soup without wonton in it! And this is the 3rd time in a row we come here and experience this kind of service! Honestly, I love P.F. Chang's..... Friday night we made a to go order for 2 & I placed the order around noon and asked it to be ready at 5:30. We went and picked it up. When I went to pick it up I saw that they were boxing it up- I was happy with the perfect timing! I asked for 1 sweet tea to go, the man brought it and I thanked him and was ready to pay. I paid & he asked me to sign the receipt of course -- I gave a small tip - I normally do not tip on to go orders - he wasn't even the one to box up my food..... & I always tip at least 20% when I dine in - but I didn't not feel I should have to tip the man who simply swiped my card a great deal - I actually was being generous by even leaving a small tip at all. So we paid and I signed & we grabbed the food and start walking away and then he looks at the receipt & was like ummmm as I could tell her was not happy with the tip and said actually that's going to be another $3 ????? He said for the to go sweet tea - the tea was $3.18 ..... I feel that's an expensive sweet tea..... and he didn't make me sign that receipt????? I think I've been scammed by the employee. Pf Chang's is a great place with awesome Chinese cuisine! However, the Mall of Georgia location's customer service is rather disappointing. My family of 4 had reservations at 6pm so we arrived 15 minutes early as requested. We are were not seated until 30 minutes passed our reservation time. The hostess didn't call our name or text us she pointed to us and just started walking through the restaurant. The hostesses here never seem to like their job or even care about it. They always seem to have a chip on their shoulder and are constantly rude. We like this restaurant chain, but the service at this location sucks. read more

It's a sad day when I have to give P.F. Chang's a one star review, and it isn't about the service but rather the food. PF Changs has been a staple in our family, as we've always rated it one of our top 5 favorite restaurants. Sadly, the menu has changed and so has the taste and quality of the food. We ordered our usual: the calamari (but the original way, not the new way with all of the peppers and stuff). Sadly, they were brought to us mushy and not crispy. They didn't even bring out the salt and pepper they come with. I had to ask for the salt and pepper. The salt wasn't the same either. They usually bring out sea salt, this was regular salt. A very disappointing start. The Mongolian beef also came out different. The meat tasted weird. In fact, it was gamy and not the usually well cooked taste. I would even say the meat seemed to be expired. The taste was not good at all. The house fried rice didn't taste the same either. At one point, I even came to think my tastebuds were off or something, but my wife confirmed it wasn't the same. Did the chef change? Did they not train him/her properly? When you go ask to have Hunter as your server!! He was the best waiter my husband and I have had there. We went to P.F.Chang's 3-22-16 for a date night and took advantage of the lettuce wraps and wine special for $20.00. They are incredible! Hunter saw that we were running low on lettuce and filled us back up and came to refill our wine glasses through the meal. I had Chengdu Spiced Lamb which was cooked to perfection! And at Hunter's suggestion my husband had the Dali Chicken which he really enjoyed. Hunter was really attentive, smiling and pleasant and made our night out great!! Walked in at 3:32 and was told 30-40 minute wait. An hour later 4:432 we were still waiting. When I went to check on the wait the manager was rude and told me she can't make people get up and leave. No, but a simple "I'm sorry your table is taking longer than we anticipated" was what they should have told me. My husband walked out and she made a rude comment to him that I heard. We ended up finally getting a table- it took 20 min for my husband to get the beer he ordered. Food was delicious and the server was great. Then we got the bill and had to pay with a QR code and type our credit card info in. The prices on the bill were different than menu. Mine was 18 on menu and our bill said 21. We paid and left... going to dinner should be relaxing but it wasn't. If you're looking to be talked to rudely and wait and charged wrong this is the place to go. I love PF Chang's but this restaurant and the server were horrible. I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp my usual. In this restaurant they use breaded shrimp with limited sauce instead of sauté shrimp. When I asked the server Andy, he told me that breaded shrimp is normal and that's the way they serve it here. Bottom line, this P.F. I typically don't do a lot of chains and can count on 1 hand the amount of times I have had Chinese food in the last 5 years BUT I have no complaints about PF Changs and my experience there. yes, it's a little pricier BUT my husband and I each got an entrée and had enough left over to take to work the following day. Voted best Chinese in Atlanta. Really? I didn't get a vote. Finally got in here after years of walking past it at the M.O.G. It was pretty good. I admit I ordered way too much food, but there were good things on the menu. I ended up getting about half of it to go. Lettuce wraps are good but I couldn't get mine wrapped. My lettuce had a hole in it and when I tried to roll it up with the filling( which was excellent!), it broke. F*** it, I just ate the filling. WORST PLACE I have ever been to. It all tasted frozen. We waited an hour and ordered Lo Mien, Rice, Chicken, Wonton Soup. The soup had chicken (tasted like out of can), wontons (were soggy dumplings), chicken broth (out of can taste). The lo mien was so terrible and I loaded it up with sauce to taste good and it tasted salty. The rice was mush and the chicken tasted bland and cold. Then we complained and waited half an hour before they brought us the check which was 50.00 plus tax. I would have rather eaten McDonalds which I hate. Once we finally got out of the reateraunt almost all of the stores had closed. Way to go P.F Changs you ruined our day. We had traveled a whole hour and a half to get here. Not going back and you shouldn't either. We told the manager that the sprite was the only thing that was good and he said well at least we got the sprite right. No chopsticks in a Chinese restaurant. How do you eat sushi without chopsticks? They ran out. (Great management). No large spoons only teaspoons for food. If the food was good some of these things could be overlooked. It was all horrible. The "manager" came over to apologize. Why wasn't he in the kitchen cutting flank steak! P.F. Chang's is definitely a go-to place for my boyfriend and I. We come so often, we are familiar with a lot of the staff. My favorite dish was the Thai Beef and Noodle Salad but unfortunately they took that away. They still have their pork dumplings though which are delicious. Our waitress Frankie was very friendly she was able to answer a questions and give great recommendations for what we should drink and eat. The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious.
