Me and by boyfriend had an amazing time here. It was our first time trying this place out and the next day I wanted to go back. Our waitress Frankie was very friendly she was able to answer a questions and give great recommendations for what we should drink and eat. The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The atmosphere it's self was very romantic and quite. The two for 39.00 is a great choice and regular portion sizes. Most restaurants cut corners when promoting deals like that but not here. Our meal here was better than the average P.F. Chang's. Perhaps there is someone of actual Asian decent in the kitchen? Anyway, consistently decent, high quality food. On one of those "it's 3:30 and we haven't had lunch" sort of days, I was reluctantly talked into going to P.F. Chang's. Now, I had not been there in about 5 years (steadfastly refusing to return because it was so bad), so I cannot tell how many changes in management or corporate policy have taken place. I was pleasantly surprised! We had an excellent server (Dietrich), and I was pleased to find several vegetarian options on the menu. I ended up having the Ma Po Tofu, which was nicely presented, well seasoned, and quite tasty. The portion was large (lunch for tomorrow), and was served with brown rice. My only change would be to ask for the tofu to be steamed rather than stir-fried, but that's just my personal preference. The final bit of dining was a small sliver of the blueberry cheesecake..delish. And that portion, I'm pleased to report, was tiny. I'd gladly return for lunch, especially a late lunch, but would probably not go there for dinner. The noise level is way too high (a fact that was confirmed by Dietrich). Enjoy! read more

Personally, I have never been overly impressed with the food at PF Changs but recently, it was recommended by my wife's friend. The recommendation was made because the two of them have celiac's disease which means they cannot have anything containing gluten. My wife's friend said she has eaten at PF Changs numerous times without contamination. So we decided to give it a shot. The food was good and there was no contamination of gluten. So we went back several more times with success. If you have celiac's disease or you know someone who does then you realize that finding a place that is careful not to contaminate food with gluten is very difficult. There are very few places we can actually eat out and feel comfortable that there will be no gluten contamination. We ate there the other night for the fifth time. Bring on the contamination! As always, my wife told them she has celiac's disease and cannot have gluten and I reiterate that to the server so there is no question about her reaction to gluten. The waiter says "uh huh, yeah got it" and takes our order. I order the gluten free lettuce wraps and she ordered the egg drop soup with brown rice. Before he leaves the table my wife says make sure they know I have a gluten allergy it is very important to me. I cannot have gluten. Then I explained to him bad things happen if she gets gluten and that he needs to make sure they know that. He says "will do." Her soup comes out and she starts eating it, no problem. My lettuce wraps come out, which she intended to share with me and I began eating them. The waiter comes back over to check on us after I have eaten two lettuce wraps and says "oh hey by the way those AREN'T gluten-free, that's cool though right with his thumbs up." I thought he was joking when he said this but when I found out he was serious I could hardly contain my anger. I wanted to twist his head off and punt it across the restaurant. In very clear terms, I told him no it was not okay and it was unacceptable. I told him again that she has celiac disease and will get violently sick if she has gluten. I don't think this guy had a clue what gluten was. Minutes later the manager comes over and introduces himself to us. He said he was a managing partner who just came in from another city and he was very apologetic for what happened. He offered to make another dish and bring it out assuring us it would be gluten-free. I said I didn't want it and I didn't want to finish what I had on the table. He made every attempt to smooth things over but I was so pissed off it didn't matter. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because he was a nice guy and tried to make things right. But the bottom line is, if my wife would have had one of those lettuce wraps she would have been very sick for days. What it comes down to is this, restaurants need to educate their employees about gluten and the effects that it has on people who have celiac's disease. They shouldn't offer it on the menu if they cannot absolutely guarantee that the food will not be cross contaminated. So if you have celiac's disease or sensitivity to gluten then take your own chances when you go to PF Changs. One contamination out of five visits is unacceptable. read more

We went here for my friends 40th Birthday dinner; upon arrival we were seated and ordered drinks. After completing our drink order we were informed that they were out of our requested beverage they couldn't offer us a comparable substitute due to lack of stock. We ordered lettuce wraps and dumplings as appetizers. The dumplings were great, the lettuce wraps...not so much. They were pretty skimpy. There was very little meat topping just lots of the white crispy noodles that were limp. We ordered our entrees and had to wait about 20 mins for them. The fried rice arrived and was cold and had to be replaced. After our entrees arrived they were also cold. We asked politely for a manager we we could get them replaced. The manager comes to our table and we explained the situation and he said he would take care of it. 25 mins later we finally received our food which was correct in temperature, but our rice had been sitting on the table for the entire wait was now cold. We asked for our checks and it took 10 mins for them to arrive then they were wrong and had to be fixed. It took our waitress another 5 mins to fix them. Overall this experience was a total flop, we should have stopped at a McDonald's. read more

First, I want to say that I've dined at P.F. Changs at multiple other locations including: Sherman Oaks, CA, Fashion Valley, CA, La Jolla, CA, Dunwoody, GA and Ashville, NC. This was my first visit to the location in the Mall of Georgia in Buford. I cannot comment on the food or the table service because we never got that far. We arrived at 5:15 PM on Saturday, November 19, 2016. We put in our name and we were told by the hostesses it would be 45 minutes to one hour. Keep in mind that 5:15 PM is not the "height" of the dinner hour, but just before when people start stopping their mall shopping for dinner. We gave our name and they also asked for our cell # to text us. Over the next TWO hours (yes, we actually kept waiting, thinking we might as well), we checked back with the hostesses two-three times after 6:00 pm because we thought our name had been lost. Several people came and went while we sat in the waiting area until 7:20 PM. Finally at 7:20 we asked the hostess what was going on. She said something I have NEVER heard of before, and certainly not at another P.F. Chang's that "tables were pre-assigned and we were assigned a table when we arrived." Well - we can't prove it, but we believe that tables with larger parties were seated ahead of us because they'd make more money, but then again, other parties of two or three who arrived after us were seated while we waited. I asked the hostess if I could speak to the manager, and she ignored me. So after 2 hours and 5 minutes of waiting, no offer of a drink on the house, much less an apology, or even an acknowledgement, we left. In the course of waiting, we had the satisfaction of watching other people come in who actually asked us how long we'd been waiting and three parties left because we told them we'd waited over an hour, hour and a half, almost 2 hours...and so on, and were still waiting. At least they lost business from us and three other parties because they had such horribly trained front desk people. Oh, and no, we won't be back. We'll stick with our usual: The Cheesecake Factory next door. They're busy too but this never happened over there. read more

Great food and great service. I had the shrimp vegetable tempura bowl with rice and yum yum sauce. The food was amazing and the service was awesome. I really enjoyed my meal it was very tasteful and it was very filling to the very last bite. Furthermore, I will be going back again to try more new items on the menu because they had a lot of items on the menu that look very tasteful and enjoyable to eat. The experience that I had at the restaurant was very good my waiter was very attentive to my needs, he kept my glass filed with water and made sure that my meal came out in a timely manner and I did not have to wait very long. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good China bistro to get a very good meal. I would recommend going during lunch or in the middle of the week because the weekends can be very busy at this restaurant but I would have to say that the wait is worth it. read more

P.F. Chang's is so inconsistent. I'm not sure why we go back, but I think we finally learned our lesson. The server was very polite and tried to be so helpful, but must have been really inexperienced. I ordered a Diet Coke and it was NOT. I asked to switch it out for tea. Asked for Ginger Peach but she didn't know if they had it so the process to finally getting a drink with my food took I think about 20 minutes in total. Then for some reason she put a tiny bit of water in with a huge teabag and it was undrinkable (I had to ask for a cup) so I asked for more water. Again got a tiny bit of hot water which yielded less than three fillings of the teeny tiny cup AFTER a REFILL??? I was so confused why couldn't I get a normal serving of hot water? Meanwhile, eating the hot/sour soup (which was too hot and too sour) I have had it several times) and bulgogi lettuce wraps my mouth just burned without any beverage to help. Very unpleasant meal. Then, the soup had usually come with fried noodles. Had to ask for those. They came after most of the soup was eaten. Finally ordered the honey crisp chicken. It was pretty flavorless and desperately needed salt or soy sauce (of course there are no regular condiments on the table anymore). Really disappointing Valentines Day meal. We were seated right away at lunchtime on a weekday, which turned out to be the only good thing about the experience. We waited about 5 minutes to have our server come by. We knew what we wanted to order by the time she arrived, so we told her and ordered our drinks. Our salads and soup came quickly. Problem was we ordered an appetizer that never came. A waiter's stand was behind me, and I got to hear a server cussing about something while we sat for another 35 minutes waiting on our food. I wish we had just left because when it came, it was terrible and seemed as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. The three of us each took a few bites, paid the bill and left. The server did offer to bring us dessert for forgetting our appetizer, but we didn't want to spend anymore time there. What I like most about PF Changs is that it's consistently good food and service and I love the family sized portions. Does not disappoint.

Always wonderful to know that I can get great food gluten free and a mindful and vigilant staff to know how to help me every time.

Terrible service. We went there on Memorial Day Monday with our toddlers. They are messy eaters and expectedly they created a mess. However our waitress wore a frown throughout our time there. Typically, we would not say anything during this pandemic. However, we thought we would support some of the local businesses. It was an eye-opening experience. We were not expecting to be seated immediately due to it being Saturday night. They told us it would be an hour wait, but we waited an hour and 35 minutes. Then, we knew exactly what we wanted to order, so we placed the order immediately. They brought our drinks and then our appetizer . The young lady who took our food and drink order said she was only helping out. During the appetizer, she walked by , did not stop at the table but asked if everything was okay. We said yes. Then, they brought our food, and we never saw anyone else again. I almost went to the manager to ask her if she wanted us to pay for our bill since no one ever came back to our table. I'm not even sure if we had a designated waiter. He never came to check on us or anything. Then, eventually, he asked us if we wanted to-go containers , and we said yes. If you're coming here for service , do not expect that. They have no sense of urgency whatsoever. You would think with them only being 50% capacity that the service would be better, or the management would be walking around checking on folks. None of this happened, so from this point on, we will support our small local restaurants and not the big food chains. You would think that they would have appreciated all their customers waiting for a long time to give their support. We spoke with the manager. He offered to pay our bill but that was not what we wanted. He apologized saying the staff was mostly new. All the more reason to walk the floor and check on customers. read more

This is one of my favorite places to dine! The food is awesome! I love the Mongolian Beef and crab wontons! They have a wine flight for $8 or $9.00, but you have to ask because they no longer offer it. The red velvet cake is delicious!!! Small but very tasty!!! This used to be our go to place for a "nicer" dinner, but it has gone downhill. We had a reservation but it still took 15 minutes to get seated. Placed an appetizer order with our drink order. The drinks took a long time to get to the table. No sweetener on the table so I asked for splenda and never got it. Our appetizers took a LONG time to come and literally 2 minutes later our meals showed up. My husband had to ask 3 times for spicy chili paste. They used to do a presentation with sauces when they first came to the table, but not anymore. Everything just seemed to be SO SLOW, even getting to go boxes and the check. The food is fine, nothing special. Just be sure to be ready to WAIT and WAIT and WAIT for mediocre service. read more

The service was pretty good and the food was nice (Mongolian beef was a tad dry, but otherwise good), but I had an issue with some of the staff. We were sat at a table directly adjacent to the kitchen and behind a computer where the servers can enter orders. One staff member, a man with gelled spiky hair, talked incessantly to a member of staff I assume that he was training, using derogatory terms like "retarded." At one point, a female server walked by and he flashed a barcode scanner directly into her face - those things say not to stare directly at them for a reason - laughing. I was directly facing him the whole time, but he didn't seem to notice he had an audience. Members of staff need to keep in mind when they are "onstage," and conduct themselves appropriately. read more

Then, my chicken lettuce wraps lacked flavor. Above all this, my KUNG PAO SCALLOPS LACKED FLAVOR ALSO!! No zest, no low in my mouth, not typical of PF CHANG'S... I went on a Thursday at 4 pm and all I can say is sad sad sad. A $20 plate lacking FLAVOR!! Maybe they lost their old chef, but nonetheless, two star rating!! I love coming here to eat, my family & I come here on special occasions. Today's especially where Mexican families celebrate Mother's Day, the tenth of may. My mom was going to get off work later than expected so I called the place ahead of time & let them know that we were going to be late. She, the manager I assume, told me that we were good to come in as long as it was before 8:45 we arrived at 8:40 ready to be seated because they closed at 9. As is, she sounded extremely fucking rude when I was asking politely on the phone. We were denied a table & she denied speaking to us as soon as we got there. I told the kind host to talk to her again. When she came, not even wearing a mask, I repeated what I told her & she shook my family and I off & said something under he breathe & continued to ignore us & act as if we weren't their. So rude for no damn reason. She didn't make ANY bit of effort to be slightly polite about the situation. I wish I would've gotten her name but I didn't unfortunately. After a long day of spending your parent's money on material goods at Mall of Georgia, PF Chang's can be a nice treat. The food is diverse and delicious. There is a full serving bar. The prices are OK. And top of all that, the waiter makes a spicy sauce for you when you sit down. Unfortunately it tastes horrible and does not contribute to the overall quality of your meal. Anyway, this place is perfect for small groups, business meetings or causal meals with friends. The food is diverse and good for both vegan's and vegetarians. I hadn't been to a PF Chang's in awhile and I can't say I will be hurrying back. The chicken lettuce wraps were awesome and it's what I remember from here. We should have stopped right there and not be reminded why I haven't been here for years. Our entrees came before our soup and I am really love having courses. We were seated at a two top so when the soup came while we were eating entrees we has no room for it and they didn't bring spoons. Each soup was bland and what's worse the wonton had nothing on the wonton. The lemon chicken was too sweet and bitter while the pepper steak was chewy. Another place off our list. I placed this last order online for delivery to my home 4.2.21 at 6:02pm for asap delivery which was delivered shortly after 7pm. I ordered 1 Miso Glazed Salmon white rice, no mushrooms, extra sauce and 1 kids chicken fried rice add steamed broccoli, no chicken sub tofu 35.00 total bill. The kids rice had a burnt smell to the point of not being able the deal with it period. My Salmon was slimmy inside... sickening. I called the location at 678.546.9005 at 7:17pm and spoke with the mananger and advised of the state of this order advising it is not edible and needs to be returned & credited. The male advised yes bring it back so he can show the chefs what they are doing wrong??? I drove the DELIVERY order BACK to the 3333 Buford Dr Buford, Ga 30519 location. I called again at 7:31pm to advise I am outside of the restaurant to return the delivered order. The host advised she will let "them" know and hung up the phone. I waited for 6 minutes watching folks come & go... 7:36pm I called back and asked for a Manager and I think He said he was Tony. I advised I am outside with the delivered order, he had no clue of what I was speaking about. The previous Manager? communicated absolutely nothing if he was a manager, the host communicated nothing the 5 minutes prior. I advised of my issues and advised this is the 3rd delivery I've gotten burnt smelling rice & food, but slimmy salmon. He apologized and said he would credit the 35.00 order. I drove home and prepared my own meal and have vowed to leave this location alone. Really, the last 3 deliveries order were not as PF Chang's food were normally expected. The items are not prepared at advertised, missing ingredients should be there but are not there without being asked to be removed. The brussel sprouts were burnt for my 1st experience of having them from this location on a previous delivery order. The extra sauce is always missing. Uhmmm, chefs in training? I currently only have the 35.00 charge showing in my checking account this morning so far. I did not think to check my acct several orders ago when a dish was not prepared correctly. Big fan of PF Chang's....this location is great being around the mall. You can give your cell phone number and then go shopping and they will let you know your table is ready. I usually put in reservations for a certain time and shop ahead of it. 4 stars because although being at the mall is convenient/great and all....but it does draw in your noisy high school crowd that are unaware of the people around them being disrespectful to others without knowing... read more

We had a great experience! The tuna tataki was EXCELLENT! Best we've ever had and we always make a point to order it when we see it on the menu! We also ordered the newer items on the menu, Kaleidoscope roll, Dynamite Scallop roll, and Lobster fried rice. Everything was delicious! The sushi was fresh, and the fried lobster was on point.
