Place was neat and clean however put a $10.00 bill in their coin changer and you get $9.50 back. How do I know, because the wash machine says $4.75 and I ran two machines for that price and had no money left. Hahaa! At lease steal from me in a way that feels like it's a mistake. read more

I shouldn't write this review because I fear it will get overcrowded but to honor the owners, here it is. This laundromat is the best in the area. The owners are on site, cleaning the floors, wiping out the washers and dryers, emptying the lint traps... very well maintained and clean. The owners are very friendly and attentive. read more

The owners and employees are extremely helpful and friendly. They are continually adding updates to the equipment and services offered (new TV, vending machines offering laundry supplies and snacks). This laundromat was average. And average isn't bad. It looks like someone cleans it at least once a day because it isn't filthy but not like they have someone going around to keep it clean consistently. The smallest washer is $3.00 which isn't bad where I am from. They had about 10 small washers and as a nomad that's a high priority. I am only washing a small amount of clothes. The washer insides looked clean enough but the lid and around the washing basket was pretty dirty. The floors look old but clean and there is a very long table to fold your clothes and it looks clean as well. I also love that this place still takes quarters. Too many places want you to use a special card unique to their laundromat. As a nomad I am probably maver going to return here and therefore need a easier use solution. The parking lot is a bit compact as it shares the lot with several other business but on a Saturday evening I was able to pull my rig into a space with ease. I would definitely come back if I am in the area again. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. My family has been coming here for the last year and a half, and it was always pretty standard for a laundromat. Well. That changed today. The owner was present, and apparently didn't like the look of my husband, who is a bigger guy and has facial hair. My husband had used three washing machines for laundry for our toddler and ourselves. Each of the machines was about 2/3 full. As my husband returned to the car, the owner ran out yelling that he had filled the machines too full. My husband walked out to shift some of it to another machine, and the guy kicked us out...as the laundry was washing! We spent an hour wringing out our sopping wet clothes, trying to keep our toddler entertained, while the owner glared at my husband. At one point, I asked him if he had a suggestion, as we couldn't just carry our soaked laundry to the car. We loaded it into plastic bags, and as we left the police arrived. Really, man? Look. Yes, my husband is a bigger guy. But he was kind and patient as he gathered our laundry. I don't know if it was our spiritual stickers on our car or the black metal band shirt my husband was wearing, but there was something about us that caused him to single us out. Don't go here. It's nothing special, and the discriminatory attitude of the owner makes me ashamed for our neighborhood. I'm frankly hurt, and frustrated that we have to travel further out of our way, not to mention figure out what to do with the soaked laundry in the back of our car. Shame on you, PG Wash & Dry. read more

Okay I had to knock off 2 stars. 1 because 7 of their dryers are "out of order" and another for the combined reason of their machines are old and show signs of lots of wear and for their washing machines hot wash only gets luke warm at best also on weekends it gets pretty crowded. read more

Totally functional and fine coin laundry. It's cash and coin only, no credit or debit. Reasonable pricing for the washing and drying (2.50 top loading, 3.50 for medium front loading, gets more expensive from there) 25 cents for every 9 minutes of drying. WiFi is a nice touch! read more

Like many older homes in PG, my mom's house has a washer, but no dryer. In a town that is famous for foggy cool summers, hanging laundry out to dry is not always an option. Luckily this small coin laundry is close to home. Set up is what you would expect; washers in the center, dryers around the perimeter and a couple of tables scattered throughout for folding. There are a few heavy duty commercial washers in the back for large loads. For the most part, this place is kept quite clean. Most of the time any mess is caused by people not picking up after themselves. My one complaint is there always seem to be a couple of machines out of order. However, the charge for using the washers and dryers is quite reasonable. This place is small and gets busy at peak times. PG Wash & Dry is tucked into a very small strip mall at the top of the hill across from Safeway. In the same strip mall, you will find Patisserie Bechler and Alberto's if you want to grab a meal while your laundry is going. read more

Pleasant and helpful owner attends this quarter operating laundromat. He keeps the facility neat and clean. His wash and fold service is competitively priced and he includes FREE local delivery! The machines are clean and generally in good repair. If one is out of service, he repairs it in a timely fashion. He also keeps the change machine well supplied and working. (Wifi is available from the adjacent bagel shop and works in the laundromat.) read more

I've done laundry for 2 years here. Today I was turned away from doing my laundry because he didn't want to let me change my $10 bills for quarters. I was wearing my mask and I was never disrespectful. I asked if I could do my laundry there and he said no quarters no laundry. Like I'm changing my bills to quarters. He literally took my $10 in quarters away and returned me my $10 bill. I will never return here again. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This person did not make any sense whatsoever and made me feel uncomfortable. Do better. Never returning here. read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My washer broke last night, flooded the laundry room, and soaked all of the clothes I was about to wash. I came to the laundry mat with three bags of wet clothes, and proceeded to put them into two washers. There was a sign saying not to put shoes in the washer, that was the only sign about what you can't put in the washers. A few minutes after I put my clothes in the washer, a man who worked there came over and started YELLING at me. He was yelling about putting blankets in the washer and I started apologizing immediately. I tried asking him if I could put them somewhere else, but then he told me how I only paid $2.50 to wash my clothes and it's $700 if the washer breaks. There were a lot of people in the laundry mat and I was really embarrassed. I texted my husband and told him what happened. A few minutes the guy came back and stopped the same washer, saying it was overfilled, and yelled some more. At this point my husband decided to come to the laundry mat, our kids were with him. He showed up and asked the man why he was yelling at me and where there was a sign saying I couldn't put the blankets in washers. The man yelled at him too and then walked away as my husband was talking to him (all of this happening in front of a family washing their clothes). When we were leaving, the guy who worked their shot my husband the bird in front of our kids. I'll never go back to this place, please don't give them any business. read more

I went in here to get my clothes clean but their machines must be filthy. I ended up having to wash most of my clothes in the sink after they got washed. There was white fluid all over them. I use clear liquid so I know it wasn't mine. What a waste of money. read more

This place must have undergone new mgmt or personnel, judging from the previous negative reviews. I am a visitor to Pacific Grove and had tons of laundry to do, as I travel in a small RV. The parking lot has some slopes but I was able to park a 22 ft Class C RV there with ease. Just watch for any bumps on surface. This is the best laundromat I have used in the last 15 yrs! Hands down the best! This is why: Easy and uncrowded parking. Right next to Bechler's Patisserie, opp Safeway, close to Trader Joes. Your time is not wasted. Spanking clean inside, though no personnel is visible. Must be Santa's Elves. All machines were in service. Clean toilet, with the most soft toilet paper, mirror, sink,.... thank you from all of us women! Tasteful wall prints, chairs, side tables, free wifi, electrical outlets. Large folding tables. Really large. Thank you!!! Washers ranging from Top-Loading Agitator type ($2.50), Small Drum ($3.50), Med Drum ($4.75), Large Drum ($7.25) Dryers are $0.25 per cycle. Maytag Med Dryer (9 min cycle) are very efficient. Large Dryer is 6 min per cycle but holds huge items. I found the Maytag dryers a better value. Split up your load into small batches, weed out the dried items. then combine into further loads. Effective drying means the lint filters are cleaned often. Not so with many other places. Free Wifi and strong signal. The elec outlets are sooooo useful! I got some computer work done without my battery dying. Nice people who come here, pleasant chatting with them. Large wall hung TV with channels you can change. Volume was at a low level, and this was much appreciated! I saw some fun sitcoms while getting work done. Soooo nice!! Lost and found shelf near the toilet with some items. How kind of owners to do this and not toss things away! 2 coin change machine for coins and breaking bigger bills. I want to thank the owners of this little laundry. You are doing an excellent job! I cannot suggest a single improvement. Every single thing you are doing here is hugely appreciated and we are all very grateful. This is a well-run, cozy place on a cold, rainy day. It was like being in a coffee shop.
